I have watched many reactions to this piece and I always love to see the change of expression when you realize that you are in the presence of greatness
He was singing in Italian. Nessun Dorma means 'No one sleeps'. The story is about a prince who will enter a contest in the morning to win the hand of a beautiful princess. He must answer her three questions correctly or lose his head. But he is not worried, he knows he will win (Vincera! Vincera!). He has kept his name a secret. The Princess also is not sleeping, she has sent her servants all over town to find out who he is. So this night, no one is sleeping.
Guys guys what a choice woaw!!!! So happy that young people like you actually dare to play classical music and opera absolutely fantastic the world needs Beauty!!!! Thank you
Pavarotti is loved world-wide. He started his career in the opera world. There are many arias he made famous on UTube with english captions. He then went out and did concerts world-wide making them famous to the general public. When he started to sing one of them, the audience would cheer because they recognized them. He did a concert in Central Park that drew 500,000 people. In 1990, he started to do charity events in his hometown of Modena, Italy. He invited other music performers to come and they jumped at the chance to sing with him. This is where the duets came from. I also want to say that you passed the test of never interrupting this man when he sings. It was said that he had a God-given voice and is considered to be the best tenor that has ever lived. Hope you continue to pursue his wonderful voice.
i went to that concert. first time hearing opera, well, except for bugs bunny cartoons, lolol. i was a 30 year old metalhead and this man had me bawlin' like a baby.
@@pijbdhfjlknol4491 I just purchased that Central Park DVD. I now have 16 videos of his concerts and recitals. Never get tired of watching and listening to him. He soothes my soul.
Oh, Wow... Great Reaction guys! I love Pavarotti, he gave so much to the musical community. He did several concerts with many famous artists like " Bryan Adams & Luciano Pavarotti - 'O Sole MiO" and "Luciano Pavarotti & James Brown - It's Man"s World (Stereo)" and finally "Luciano Pavarotti & Celine Dion - I Love You, Then I Hate You" he once said in an interview, he felt like, by crossing genres and bringing people together to experience different music, he was also bringing new people to Opera. Really enjoyed this one, Thanks 👍😊
You guys were very wise tonight in irrupt this masterpiece in the middle. So many people who have reacted to this earth continually interrupting it, and so much is lost when that’s done. Check out the video of Pavarotti with James Brown (yes, James Brown). It’s a lot of fun and really great.
His world cup performance isn't what made him very popular, he was already a worldwide famous tenor for decades before that, he is and will forever be the best tenor in history!
One word “goosebumps”. Considered one of the greatest opera stars on the planet! There’s a video of Pavarotti singing with Brian May (Queen) in Italy the song Too Much Love Will Kill You!! Hey your video screen got smaller ?
Nobody shall sleep (Nessun Dorma) Nobody shall sleep!... Nobody shall sleep! Even you, oh Princess, in your cold room, watch the stars, that tremble with love and with hope. But my secret is hidden within me, my name no one shall know... No!...No!... On your mouth, I will tell it when the light shines. And my kiss will dissolve the silence that makes you mine!... (No one will know his name and we must, alas, die.) Vanish, o night! Set, stars! Set, stars! At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win!
You just watched his greatest performance singing this Aria in his whole career. He was given a 20 minute standing ovation and deserved every minute.
Bravi, siete stati in religioso silenzio, cosi' si fa nell'ascoltare l'opera...👏👍

Nobody shall sleep (Nessun Dorma)
Nobody shall sleep!...
Nobody shall sleep!
Even you, oh Princess,
in your cold room,
watch the stars,
that tremble with love and with hope.
But my secret is hidden within me,
my name no one shall know...
No!...No!...
On your mouth, I will tell it when the light shines.
And my kiss will dissolve the silence that makes you mine!...
(No one will know his name and we must, alas, die.)
Vanish, o night!
Set, stars! Set, stars!
At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win!
Nice

Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman - Time To Say Goodbye
Do not miss Met opera Turandot NON PIAGERE LIU singers Domingo and LEONA MITCHELL
😅
I would let you all know that he died... in 2007
That’s sad … thanks paolo
Now listen to Amira Willighagen sing it.
You like this? Maybe the best male to sing it? Except maybe Mario Lanza? Caruso had passed away. Now listen to a girl, Amira Willighagen, singing it.
Amira Willighagen Classic is Groot, 2017.
Interrupting an opera singer is disrespectful and ruins your commentary
You dont understand dont tuch.
nessun dorma means "nobody sleeps" or "you won´t sleep" (he is speaking to the princess)
Thank you
