Hi Nyssa, another great video and I am blown away once again by everything you do. Do you know what a remarkable woman you are . I really admire your strength and energy and the way you take care of your family . I am 70 years old now and in poor health but even when I was young and healthy I could not have kept up with you. You are really something else. Please take care of yourself and do not overdo it. ❤💙💛💚
Thank you! I definitely have a bit of a slow two day weekend post getting home, eating lots of stuff that's super easy (hot dogs for dinner last night and leftovers for lunch lol) and have a bit of a cat nap if needed of an afternoon! :D
Personally I think its good to have a special day to celebrate each child separately ❤ then enjoy the other holidays as a family were everybody feels special 😊🥰
Your so honest about life on your home front. You're so down to earth. The shopping is so much fun to see you . 😊And it's like an adventure we love your videos an awesome idea for others who do the same thing as your family does. Home schooling and homestead life. It's real not fake. Your family is growing up so fast. The girls are beautiful, and love your farming style green houses. They are looking really good this year. Good luck with your crops. Take care.
❤ whenever you get time. Can you go to the butcher shop and do a video dedicated to the different types of meats they sell. I'm in America. Would love to learn more about the different cuts❤
Hi Nyssa just wanted to say I hope the property isn’t badly damaged by the fire and that you guys are all safe. Sending love and keeping everything crossed for you xx
There's a lovely one on a stand at Costco atm that I took a photo of to see what the price compared like, a Roland. I will just see how far money stretches in these last few weeks leading up to Christmas! :D
I don't know how you do it, I am totally over it by the time I make it through just one store and here you are making it through multiple stores like a champ. I do love watching your 4/6 week hauls.
It is so much nicer when it is still daylight out, I hate night driving too, so being able to drive home in the afternoon is superb. Though we of course cop the heat with the extra sunlight hehe :D
Wow an early video. I had to think what day it was. Sounds like most things are ticked of your list for the kids. Great that things were put away on lay by for next month. Making a Coles shop to your mums while your there - what a game changer. Had a giggle at the produce sampling by a few of the unpacking helpers. Couldn’t not see the growth in the kids. Yeah the cost of storage bins has definitely gone up. I did, hopefully, the last on line order for Xmas bits and pieces. I have a lot of papers to go through and shred or recycle. I am hoping I can gain a few bins from getting rid of papers rather than buy anymore. I have got some bins in the Reject shop not in the bin section but in the kitchen area. I use them to store medicines and bathroom items in them.
I've got to sit down and check my lists, but I think nearly everything is sorted for Christmas, just have to see what we go through in the first half of the month food wise that we might need, I always make seafood salad and I did forget the frozen 'seafood mix' so need to make sure to get that! Lol, Those cherry tomatoes were half eaten before they even made it inside, and quite a few apples got eaten too! :D I have been thinking about what I want for bathroom stuff etc, we put some shelves in the bathrooms and I want some bins for all the soap and toothpaste, deoderant etc! I only keep a few extra of each, but the kids always mess them up when I just have them lined up lol.
I love how the kids help! I know prices here in the usa have skyrocketed. I do alot of shopping at bent and dent stores. We get some produce from a produce market for low income. I dont know how you manage all that!! Kuddos to you being a smart shopper. Ive been butchering free deer and canning it
sweet moment when unloading the watermelons and your husband just grinned at you. prob scratching his head trying to figure out when yall became a five watermelon family!!!
An awesome job!! Love seeing the little bits of Christmas stuff!! You are the Tetris queen 👑!! Looks like the kids are going to be getting some yummy treats with that beautiful fruit!!
Thanks Nyssa for this video, it's so interesting to see you managing it all. It's also nice to see the whole family pitch in with the unloading when you get back. Your children are so fortunate to have you as their mum - Iove the way you are always thinking of nice things ( activities & meals ) that will make them happy.
The lack of shade at all shops is frustrating. There use to be trees in car parks then they took nearly all of them away.... it's hot as balls in summer
Hi Nyssa, I've been meaning to post this since your video when you spoke about the flies, giving you a hard time while cooking. I work at Bunnings, and a lot of customers have been raving about these. I thought of you straight away 😊 Brilliant Lighting Insect Repeller Fan - 2 Pack $15.
I sometimes find doing online shops almost as time consuming as going in! But it is handier now that they have longer slots and more slots for delivery! I was able to order at midday for delivery at 7am the next day, that was pretty handy!
You definitely deserve a rest day when you get home. That’s a lot of work especially since it’s hot there. Cool temps here and next week is our Thanksgiving here in the US so we travel 2 hours to family Thursday and Friday. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊
I can't believe how much the kids have grown up. Each unpacking of Ute shows the kids gradual growth. Kids are a great help for you . Great to see all pitching in together and having fun.😊
@@libbywilson3064 Whilst I only film what they're happy to participate in and knowing that it is being filmed I do love having the records, I have plenty of personal stuff on my phone too, but these little snippets, like how the gardens growing, just make me notice heh :D
It's always nice when they all come out and help (though I had to ask for shirts to be put on and Kavik still didn't I realised once watching the footage lol)!
Hi Nyssa, just an idea that might help you with the heat in the car with the vegetables etc. You can buy picnic blankets that are insulated and also rolls of soft aluminium to cover your groceries. Not too expensive too! Online and also bunnings and others. Enjoy your time out. Roxane
I think the reflector panels I used helped! Mum runs air con till we get to costco, then we cover them until we come back out, most of it ends up in the esky's or on the back of the ute for my part of the drive lol..
A Lego snow globe? Who knew? I need to look for one of those! I about fell over when you mentioned the price of the plastic containers! I had no idea they were so expensive. What a lot of work and such great helpers! Your description of your Christmas plans, and what you hope to do, sounds wonderful!
I'm sure I used to get like a set of 4 for $12 at Kmart :S. Sad they don't sell them anymore :(. It was generic branded lego, from Kmart, but I still think it will be neat :D
@@OurSmallFootprint Even an off brand would be cool! My son-in-law is a huge lego fan. (He has quite a few of the large, fancy kits, with moving parts.) I think he might enjoy something like this. It’s hard to buy for people who buy themselves whatever they want.
The kids have already gone through everything lol, They keep on asking to do clay and stuff and I'm having to ride them to get the dishes done and the table cleared first! :D
They have some great product, they have some really good deals too, unfortunately most aren't on the day I'm there lol, but I still normally snag something at a decent price, I'm going to try and budget in steak for next month! :D
Hey Nyssa, That trip looks like fun! but when I look at those full carts I get anxiety lol! I hate spending money on groceries with our economy the way it is but, that's life. It's insane what a package of paper towels cost. TFS!!❤
Hi Nyssa, in that heat and humidity it makes the shopping more tiresome for yoy. What a family affair unloading the Yute when you got home. I had to chuckle when you said you don’t like sewing elastic. I hear you. Not fun!
