What a haul! Isn't it so much more enjoyable when you are not calculating to the last dollar? AND you took advantage of SO MANY great savings. You Rock, Nyssa!
It is so nice, to know that there's just that little bit of a buffer and you can manage until the next pay even if you go over a bit, it makes life so much nicer! :D.
I love the fact that I have been watching your wonderful grocery hauls when you only had 1,200 subscribers.......I am thrilled to see just how much you have grown and just how much you deserve all the good things in life.....❤❤. You are such a joy to us all. Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers. Yay.
I remember waaaay back when you started your RUclips journey and I can't tell you how happy it makes my heart to see you having this success now! To hear you say you have flexibility with your groceries now (to some degree ofcourse lol) is just so wonderful!! Can't wait to watch what next year brings for you and your family! Merry Christmas Nyssa!! PS. As a side note whenever I'm watching your vids my hubby always asks " oh are you watching that clever lady from Queensland again??" 😂❤
Hehe, naww, thank you and your hubby! :D It definitely feels nice that the work I've put in is a real result kinda thing, to be able to buy some extras for the freezer and be a little more flexible, I don't think I'll ever be particularly over the top! but it is nice to have a little extra! :D
Hi Nyssa, another great haul. I do not know how you find the energy to do it all. Please look after yourself and do not overdo it. I wish you and your family a wonderful Xmas and New Year. You deserve Mother of the year award. 🥨🍕🥦🍒🌽
Wow! I learned so much from this video. I kept googling things because I had never heard of them. We have lifesavers but never heard of fruit tingles. Pavlova was new. And, I couldn't find anything about li cheese? (spelling). I adore cashews, hazelnuts and pistachios. Too expensive anymore to buy but in the last 3 months at the food pantry I have received 6 one pound bags of pistachios and 3 two pound bags of hazelnuts.
I have friends who grow hazelnuts 7 miles from our houses. I can get 25# of hazelnuts for $75. And if I want to go gleaning after harvest all I have to is ask. But I live in the US in a valley where a lot of food is grown. I am hearing your prices....and I am in awe. Thank you for sharing. I love learning how others live across the globe
That is awesome! I don't know where the Australian hazelnuts are grown tbh and honestly they might not even be Australian, I didn't check! They're not something we buy often, but I saw all these christmas recipes with nutella and nutella being dairy and like mostly sugar lol, I decided to make some myself :D
I love Curtis Stone, he is a great chef and is very handsome. Love his accent also! Nyssa, you do a wonderful job shopping and cooking for your family especially when it's a one month haul. I hope all of you have a very blessed Christmas. 🎅🤶🎄
Great load of groceries etc! I can't believe how cheap some of your produce are. Looks like a very indulgent Xmas and holiday period is coming! It's lovely to spoil yourselves, especially after the last few weeks for you guys!
Nyssa, I'm so impressed with the value and quality of the fresh produce, such great prices. I'm also making Jamie's cheese cake for Christmas, serving it with mango. Christmas is the best time for mangoes and stone fruit isn't it. Nice to eat when it's so hot.
Nyssa, I have a cup of coffee and your grocery haul ready to watch. What good deals. 2 boxes of prawns for nothing. Wow, great deals on sale. I am still amazed that you loaded all those food items. Now I have some ideas. Glad you got a pork belly. I love watching your process making bacon. I believe your smoker broke. I will stay tuned to see how you do it. Merry Christmas. Always OK in my mind to get extras. I love you and Darryl get each other little things for each other and for yourselves.
Big haul. Please let me know how what you think of the laundry liquid washing ability. I have heard reviews that weren't great but would like to buy if OK in the future. The fruit - always impressed. We have a new f&v store open up. Only found it after I'd already shopped. Prices looked good. Hopefully the pricing continues and it's not just opening up prices for short time. Bummer forgetting the beef trim. The new freezer will be full before you know it lol.
I'll update, I went through looking at all the offerings and decided to try this one! We'll see how it goes, but it seemed best bang for buck without SLS (Sonnet and Darryl suffer some severe eczema from SLS products) FX it works ok!

It's so hard when you rely on the freezer for long term storage :S. I try super hard to get as much on the shelf as I can, but freezing is so convenient! I try and grab ginger whenever it is on special, I have a decent stash, but when I'm brewing ginger beer, I can go through it fairly quickly!
Everytime I watch one of these its interesting. After adjusting for exchange rate, I am surprised what is markedly more expensive or markedly cheaper. Taking account, of course, climate and that we don't grow a pineapple within a half a continent of anywhere I live! In the US, chicken breast is the more expensive and comparable in price. Chx thighs... A fourth the cost here? Random, but interesting!
Thighs used to be cheaper here and then they became ‘trendy’ with all the keto etc. it’s frustrating lol! Fruit is readily avail at this time of year it’s wonderful! And being in Queensland most of the year there’s a fruit of some kind that’s cost efficient because it’s warm most of the year in a lot of the state!
I had a squirrel moment watching this - would your climate be good for planting a cherry tree? I know you’re in qld but being inland you get the cold temps needed for cherries. Do you reckon worth a try?
When you smile at the camera, I always smile back.
Me too😊 contagious💞

I freeze meat, cheeses, bread crumbs, frozen veggies etc and I get so stressed when it happens so much
It's so hard when you rely on the freezer for long term storage :S.
@@OurSmallFootprint at least 6months per year, here, it's too cold for water, meat alone fruit!
You do a great job.....
Great haul.🫶🇨🇦🎅
I had a squirrel moment watching this - would your climate be good for planting a cherry tree? I know you’re in qld but being inland you get the cold temps needed for cherries. Do you reckon worth a try?
I did have one, when we put our first fruit trees in, bare root, but it never took off, I might have to try again!
@@OurSmallFootprint I say give it another crack next winter
Awesome haul
Great haul. Loved all the extras. Did you shop already for kids Christmas ? Do yall celebrate Christmas ?
Most of their christmas gifts are already bought, and I have some still hoping they arrive in the mail this week! :D.
I get so confused whenever you talk about cordial, so I looked it up. It's not something that is common here in the USA.
Yes and its not really known by anything else either, like I can't call it something else and you know what it is! :D
Hello nyssa
Morning Jen! :D
