Here's the few days groceries and the work behind it lol, and I'll get the actual grocery haul edited and up as well! :D

Oh my word, that one looked like a trip and a half - and you didn’t even get to film most of it, so Lord only knows how knackered you must have been! I can only imagine the relief every time you pull up outside, knowing that you’ve survived another groceries trip (makes for fascinating content, though!)
It's definitely a hard slog, in summer its so hot but at least the days are longer, in winter we're unpacking in the dark generally speaking lol.
Thats a long few days for you, made worse when its so hot! Its great that your mum helps you

I saw you and your mum yesterday (Friday) at Costco, you all looked exhausted and I thought could not wait to see what goodies you had this month. Merry Christmas to you, Daryl, and the kids and to your mum.
It was so hot! and we packed the fruit and stuff before we went in, and then knew we'd have to pack all the rest once we got out lol. We bought some prawns though and sat out the front and ate them as lunch hehe :D

Wow! I won’t never complain again about having to shop for Christmas. My kids are grown and I have one grandchild with stores everywhere. I can’t imagine what you go through to get your Christmas together and wrapped and loaded (twice) and the trip you make, not to mention the cost. My hat goes off to you! I start planning christmas almost from like March lol. I budget it through to make sure I can get what I want and have the funds near christmas to splurge a bit too :D

New follower from Missouri USA. So much work for all that shopping loading and unloading. Then you have to put it away. You have to be so organized.
I make the kids put it away, knowing that I'll have to go through and re sort it lol, but at least its safe for the evening! :D

filming in public is one of our uncomfortable things too! sometimes I just film just on my phone, and voiceover later in those situations if possible. But so many times I've been too nervous to film at all in public! That's cool you got contacted by someone from jackery! Bit jealous!
Hehe, the problem with voiceovering is that it requires more editing lol, and once I have to spend the time to edit sometimes there's videos that never see the light of day because I just don't get to it hehe, I know my limits! :D. I do need to try better though, people love seeing inside the stores too, and I am making money from RUclips, so it is a 'job' so maybe I need to work on it more lol :D
@@OurSmallFootprint haha, it's not so hard or time consuming when you're sitting down to edit anyway! I just keep notepad open and talk out what i'd say at that part, then type that down, then after I've edited the rest of the video I just do all the voiceovers in one hit reading out what I wrote down, and then pop them in on top.
I've got a microphone now, but I used to just use my phone to talk to for it, which was super easy. Having said all that, you're doing better than me at making youtube a job - so your easier streamlined approach may be the better option in the end for value!
My biggest issue is that I can't do my voiceovers at my computer etc hehe. I do the same with typing out what I want to say to a degree, but I have to go out into the garden to record it, or somewhere away from the kids/fans/generator etc etc. and then Its the time spent adding them onto the videos hehe, I do it for a lot, like all the cooking stuff, but sometimes I try to make a video in a way that I don't have to, just so its a bit quicker end result :D

I wrapped most of it and put it in the singapore (stripey) bags and in a couple of black totes! and most of it is still in the car atm lol. I'm going to duct tape up the bags and totes and put them 'somewhere' inside lol.

I picked that one up this trip, it's the same style as I always buy, nice and floaty for when its warm and I saw they had a purple one which was different to normal!
I was thinking, I hope Nyssa opens up the freezer and puts some shopping in and you did. We are all sick here. Good grief why? Who knows. Just in time for not getting the house clean for Xmas. Oh well. It is what it is. Tiramisu, yummy. I'm going to just do a trifle and individual meringues. Of course, pudding and cake. Made the cake at least. Good idea wrapping the kids presents. Isn't it time consuming. I tried to wrap as I got stuff the last couple of months. But have a box of small stuff to wrap yet. Great news about the Jackery. I entered a competition recently for a Bluetti but alas was not successful. Both are meant to be pretty good. Can't wait till you get yours. Big W need to step up their game when it comes to heavy items. What a pain.
I make far too many desserts hehe, but I don't make them the rest of the year, but at least with cheesecake etc I can freeze it and eat it over time, especially with the new freezer!
I normally make D wrap all the presents lol, but it just felt like it might help to do it that way! :D

Just came across you vlog . I took get vertigo when driving I live in the states Arizona. I found that nuro lenses have helped so much with my drinking they are close to 1``'000 Dallas U. S. But so worth it. They have a prism woven through and they have saved me from panic attacks when the vertigo and nausea were bad. Hope you check it out

We have a jackery, they are great but done things pull far more than you'd think. (Ok so we also have a smaller one but still) as always love your video!
I think we're pretty cluey as to what we can and can't use for it and how long these days, but it will still be a learning curve, being lithium etc, we don't use lithium normally, but we'll give it a good workout! :D

I'm honestly just really naive when it comes to solar power (but trying) we have a sunny boy for hydro electric but are waiting to be able to dig a pond to connect it, so we got a small jackery. I think it's always a learning curve. Even years later, things just change too often anymore. Is it bad I like simplicity?
@@thewatcherandthefae it’s hard too, appliances ratings etc aren’t necessarily what works either, you can’t base all usage on them because the ratings and info is diff for every situation!

We always do hotdogs for dinner hehe, I buy some hotdog sausages and buns, D cooks up some bacon and onion and we just have a super simple meal :D
How do we order you drink cups??
I didn’t get myself sorted in time to sell them largely for Christmas lol so I just did private sales via email/facebook. The home is to expand on it a bit and get it easier for people to choose to buy!
