Pc version is way more convenient in almost every way. i still love it but i don't think kiting is as efficient. i've never played it on Pc but i've seen many things you are unable to do on the console version. i had over 100 hours into the wii U version and now i have a good bit on Ps4 and i still suck at combat lol... i still have yet to kill my first giant solo
I personally like to go in ruins or do a long trip in the caves during summer after I kill ant lion so I don't need to worry about the heat and wild fires and her
I’m pretty sure you don’t need to know all this to go to the ruins, you just need to know how to get there. Maybe how to be ready for the ruins is a better tittle?
Look for a bunch of spider dens in the caves. Inside a group of them there will be another cave entrance made of thulecite. Mine that and descend. Usually near the center branch of the cave.
The Magiluminesence cannot be refueled with nightmare fuel in the DS Pocket Edition. What a waste of precious thulecite... Its apparently been reported already, but Klei has done fck all about it.
In older versions of the game (which pocket edition is) the magiluminescence isn't refuelable, so it's not necessarily a bug, as it is you're just playing a 2016 port.
you should try doing a world were you survive as long as possible like for example i have a survival series were u go as long as possible im less good at the game but i also have a survival series going and might start tips/guides after season 3
hey Edgy Rick, Got some hours now in dst, am doing some ruins now, slowly. With wx78 easy way to start thing of. Wanted to overcharge from a station, hammered it but no lightning. Am I doing something wrong or is there no more lightning when hammering a station.
mike hanks hi, i think i can help! if i remember correctly, you can't get over-charged by breaking down the rod. leave one up, in case of lighting. it will still hit you if a rod is up, but you don't want base to set fire.
for food I would say get some meat from koalephant prototype/make 2 crock pots and an ice box outside of ruins and get some lichen for fillers and for armor I would say to bring a stack of gold and equal amount of stone for helms always a hambat and whatever you use for healing
This guide was helpful, but I just want to remark that I knew a guy that played Webber and used Dangling Depth Dwellers to genocide splemonkies and burned their huts. It that really a good idea?

thulecite walls are good if you upgrade them upgraded thulecite wall has 800 hp but moonrock wall has 400 hp i guess
In normal DS I can do the ruins just fine but in DST I can barely kite certain enemies because of the input lag.

Ancient Psuedoscience station's lightning doesn't buff WX78 in DST.
And I'm assuming splemonkey pods cannot be destroyed like how you can burn down the monkey pods in Shipwrecked.
They can be destroyed, but they will fuck you up if you do.

In regular DS, no. In DST he will respawn after killing the Ancient Fuelweaver, the hardest boss in the game.

Webber can't spawn them in without another mob, so it takes a painfully long time.
