I was in the Bahamas in 2012 and we also went to the pirate museum and my sister fainted and almost fell into one of the exhibitions 😬
Went to Christus Gardens in Gatlinburg TN in the 80's. This girl went stiff as a board and fell straight back. I was a bit behind her so it took me a minute to realize it was my cousin 🤣. Luckily her hair was really thick and tied back so it kept her from being hurt. Definitely made the museum more memorable 😂

Oh wow. For once, a travel vlog that I can actually identify with and plan something similar to look forward to! My partner and I both have travel anxiety and are very intense nesters, so we do not really go for weekend breaks and such. But it felt so nice to see you two enjoying some quality room time, makes me look forward to our first trip together. Thank you Shaaba and congratulations for the wedding 💛 💛 💛

Proud of Jammi facing his anxiety about flying. I also have travel anxiety and it can be really difficult. Ive only flown a couple of times. I’ve been on a tiny plane before and I did not handle it well 😅
I would also be the one to not snorkel and hold down the boat. I love swimming in pools, but the ocean freaks me out. I think I could muster the courage to swim with the piggies because they’re sooo cute!

I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico. Seeing your enjoyment of all these things I used to take for granted and miss now that I live inland, it just made me feel so warm and happy. The nurse sharks, the curious fish inspecting you, what a magical place. I snorkeled in Nassau once and have never had such clear waters anywhere else. Those rum cakes are SO TASTY. I'm so happy you had a good trip. My husband and I had to cancel our covid wedding and finally got married last year too! Our honeymoon was supposed to be in Portugal but sadly we had to stay in the states. Your vlog has made me very excited for when we eventually do have our make up honeymoon.

You two seem to travel so well together! I'd love to hear more about how you communicate and like to travel. I love traveling with my partner but flying and big trips give me so much anxiety. We have done two separate 26+ hour car drives for trips just because of my anxiety 😅 It looks like you two where the happiest newly weds there. Your trip was magical! I think one of the resorts either there in the Bahamas or in Jamaica has a massive aquarium that you can see a whale shark in. Unless that was just a rehab animal and it was released.

Absolutely not odd at all to chill out in the room. Because of my own mental & other health stuff, I know I will spend a lot of time in the room. No shame in it- you were still relaxing in the Fricken Bahamas!!

I can see how vacationing West could be particularly nice for anxious travellers because you get the peaceful morning hours with fewer crowds because the time difference has you awake earlier. You can have a full day and still have a nice night in and avoid some crowds.

Absolute dream honeymoon right there!! I felt it/loved it when you had your wee shrug of “we’re spending a lot of time in aquariums/the hotel room cause that’s what we like to do on holiday”. My partner and I are aquarium-obsessed and I sometimes get insecure that we’re not doing what we *should* be doing on couples holidays but your vlog has made me so so happy. Think this has been especially big for me since going pretty much tee-total.
Geeking out over animals and acting like big kids at a water park is exactly the kind of thing we love to do too - in between the pool, beach and room service ofc. Don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a travel vlog so much (I normally watch your more sit-down content) 😊 it’s made me think a lot more about just honouring my real ideal holiday and a honeymoon potentially being an opportunity for that someday!
