Gotta figure out how to tell AF Archery that you're the reason I love their bows because of you Mr. Hirmer. Thank you doing these for us. Also they make the bows affordable
Iv had the pleasure of owning a bamboo sici for the last 2 years. Yes I love this bow. I think A. F. are right The max draw is 34. But that's the most it will go before snapping. So I wouldn't get anything longer than 32 in. So I you are like me. I cannot over draw it. Thank you for an other great video arming you are a rock star.
Honestly, this bow really amazes me. AF’ hard work for their beautiful bow is paying off. Too beautiful for me 😂❤ Thank you for this bow review Mr. Armin Hirmner. As always, you’ve been lighting my day. Thank you so much !
Another great review, Armin, and the drone angles are a nice addition too 👍 I agree about the carbon on the belly surface, it just doesn't seem to fit this bow aesthetically. I have a 45# SiCai modified with the regular carbon layer and the weighted handle. It is a joy to shoot. Draw is really smooth to 32" which is my instinctively comfortable draw length. There is some string hum on release and just a little vibration, but I never notice it. The bow is consistently more accurate than I am! I shoot 500gn arrows and arrow speed is good but I don't have a chrono. My guess would be 180fps +/-, perhaps a touch more. It would be interesting to try the same bow but with just the weighted handle (I personally like a bit of weight in a bow) and without the carbon layer to see if it is a slightly 'softer' bow to shoot. The standard carbon layer certainly gives a certain 'snappiness' to the shot. AF make great bows for the price and their customer service is excellent. Their strings to my mind are not so good. I find the servings soon start to separate and unwind. They are a tad thin too for the Vermil 'U' nocks which I love.
Great review as always! Fun to see how the bow grows to you during the video. Would you say it were comparable to the Alibow Dunhuang? This one I can really draw 35”. Cheers, Bernhard
waow ! so beautiful bows, but nobody to learn o shoot in any federal club it's so pretty, i think it's possible to shoot indoor as "barebow" in competition but a Babylon or a 62-64" Falco Myth are more adapted about speed, some competitors consider 160 fps is a good speed, the mre important thing is...precision !
Yes you are very good looking, I’m slightly jealous… and I have a theory it’s connected to archery. Those who are predisposed to a given pursuit will pursue it, those who are not won’t. Alignment, balance and posture are central to archery. Those with good physical symmetry, alignment and proportions will be better balanced, have better posture and form, ergo, archers have good symmetry and proportions. These are the biggest markers for attractiveness.
About the max draw safety issue, I have a Nawalny Mongolian coming that has 34" max, would you say that's safe? I love long draw but I don't just want Manchu all the time.
You can't even find this bow on their site if you search it by name. wait until stuff is in production, please. we dont get things from China here hardly anymore and we won't at all if the wrong person is elected in November. wish I was in Europe.
@@ArminHirmer yes but they will cost 10,000 dollars' if the side that's wanting to do hard tariffs wins. The future is bleak here dude. yall might have to invade us and save us from fascist this time if the wrong side wins. Hint I'm talking about the red hat side.
Love the shape and the pattern of that one, reminds me of the paragon raider :) Does the bow stack very quickly? I feel that all the carbon they put on it must make it very tough to draw back to 32.
And why always SHINY ? Besides the prints, it looks cheap. Didn't we go "traditional" for the more natural look/feel ? If you go black, go MATTE. So you can scribble on your OWN art ! Tribals... Celtic... Life Motto... Spirit Animal...
AF Archery is I believe, HuntingDoor. They have upped their quality control. I purchased a customized Ming from them on your review. I will not do business with them anymore. The bow is fine. The rest was difficult. The shipper "lost" my order. It was later "found". It appeared to be repackaged. I couldn't tell if the bow had been used. I remain suspicious. The three extra strings ordered were not in the box. I contacted ShanShan at customer service, which has my order invoice and information. She flatly insisted I was lying about the strings not being in the box, and the issue was settled. Fellow archers beaware of the kind of people you are doing business with before ordering.
I mean, I ordered 4 bows (3 of them have custom options) last year from them, to Canada, topping about $2500....none of your issues happened to me, shipping is way faster than Alibow and quality is better. Btw, If your package is opened upon delivery, you should always declined receiving. Especially in a lost and find situation, the package will not just reappear at your door. You must have been in contact with the carrier back and forward once it was declared lost at first place. What is your carrier after the package left China? USPS or which nation's postal service? You should file a complaint to that carrier, but not AF Archery because it is a logistics problem after the package left China. There is no way AF should be held accountable of any logistic issues in a foreign country, they can reimburse you on good faith but you should take the issue to the right person. BTW Hunting Door is not AF, Hunting Door sells some cheap fiberglass bows that come from the same hire production line though. Hunting Door is TopArchery though.
They always send the string with it, never had any issues. Only back in the days in Malta, when customs opened the box... they were not careful and sometimes parts were missing then
@ArminHirmer yes indeed a string. It is my practice to order extra strings for each bow. You know how the string knocks can be rough or sharp. I paid for the extra strings in the order. They were not supplies. ShanShan denied my appeal with prejudice, saying I lied.
@@stevenparsons4464 hi, did you claim your local courier for lost and found / damaged / opened package? AF doesn't need to risk their reputation for a few strings. Blaming on seller but not your local courier makes you incredible, especially you chose to bad mouthing publicly with wrong information and guess. A story had both sides, but obviously you are shouting at the wrong tree. Take the claim to your local courier/carrier for mishandling . BTW do you know most Chinese sellers take pic of dispatched items before sealing the package? I am not sure AF did or didn't do that, but obviously they don't believe on what you said for a reason and like I said, they don't need to risk their reputation on a few strings.
I always enjoy your reviews, mein Freund. Your Arminisms never disappoint! I do miss your rating system(s). Best wishes from Virginia. 🙇🏻👍🏹

Noticeable improvement in the sound quality of your videos.
I was shooting my birdseye maple siCai today, getting slightly better.
have to look in to getting one.I know my Ming is great.

when Lukasz said so, it is safe :) but the bow will do great at 32" too
Im looking at bows and the websites in the Netherlands only have these boring models and all the pretty bows are from China but cost so much to ship:(

yes, quite hard, but it can be that the bows gets smoother after a few hundred shots

Hi was für ein Handschuh ist das in deinen Video bin auf der suche nach so einen. Vielen Dank
nur ein Daumenschutz von Mark Roberts, gibt videos
Lol OMG you kill me , with the humor.. this isn't white ice! Lol
How about the draw curve showing?
the bow companies should provide a draw curve :)
Wish AF would do a Kaiyuan Style bow in this fancy carbon
Is there bow hunting in Europe?
I think in some countries you can hunt, not in Germany or Austria
Ebony ice;)
Try nice looking.
