  • CHICKEN MUSHROOM STIR FRY | How to make TENDER CHICKEN MUSHROOM STIR FRY | PINOY SIMPLE COOKING
    CHICKEN MUSHROOM STIR FRY is a quick and easy dish rich in flavor of tender juicy chicken and mushroom combined with mixture of soy sauce and oyster sauce which makes it more flavorful.

    Here is how to make CHICKEN MUSHROOM STIR FRY:
    CHICKEN MUSHROOM STIR FRY RECIPE :
    Ingredients:
    1 large onthion, chopped
    7 cloves garlic, minced
    16 oz baby bella mushroom, chopped
    scallions
    For the marinate:
    1 1/2 lb boneless chicken thighs, cubed
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp sherry cooking wine
    1 tbsp sesame oil
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    For the sauce:
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    2 tbsp oyster sauce
    1 tbsp sherry cooking wine
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    For slurry:
    1 tbsp cornstarch
    2 tbsp water
    Directions:
    1. In a large bow, combine chicken, pepper, soy sauce, sherry cooking wine, sesame oil and cornstarch. Mix until all meat is well coated.
    2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sherry cooking wine, brown sugar and chicken broth. Stir until no lumps.
    3. In a pan or wok, heat oil over high heat.
    4. Add chicken, spread evenly and let it cook for 30 secs each side before stirring.
    5. Cook chicken for 5-7 mins stirring constantly. Remove from the pan.
    6. In the same pan, lower the heat to medium high heat. Add oil and onion. Cook until translucent.
    7. Add garlic, cook until lightly browned.
    8. Add mushroom, cook until softened
    9. Add the soy sauce mixture. Stir until well combined. Let it simmer uncovered for 3 mins.
    10. Add back the chicken. Let it simmer uncovered over medium heat for 10 mins.
    11. Pour in the cornstarch slurry (mix it before pouring in), stir and cook until sauce thickens.
    12. Toss in scallions.
    13. Garnish with scallions before serving. Best served with steamed rice.

      We have it here at our local store and asian store. If you are in the Phils I am pretty sure you have it there at any SM grocery stores.
