Gosh! I hadn't realized just how much prep was needed for moving day,you almost pack it all away. What a lot of hard work for you. But no doubt worth it when you get to a new place,luv how Kamp just lays about watching/ supervising :)
I am loving the music and vibes you bring to the videos so much reassurance of being ok and safe with like being with you guys and chilling. Especially this summer where we have been doing more camping and outdoors. Doing new adventures and traveling and same with you guys doing new stuff never imagined! So much love !!!

When I am feeling in the dark and lonely I just watch a video and feel reminded of all the beauty the world has to offer. Oh WoW! I must have missed the video on the portability of your wood stove! That was an amazing break down of it. I miss being able to move our trailer the way Baron did just that in this video. We could do that in the Scamp, but not in the RPod. Hoping your health issues are all done and addressed. I know the foods and items that trigger my problems. You are and will be fine ~ I feel it!

I traveled and played music for over 30 years. This reminded me of “break down” after a show. Usually, if no one was too buzzed, it too about 2.5 hours to load the truck. Y’all got a lot of stuff. Glad to see y’all back out on the road. Me too in a week or so.

Sending good vibes your way. I was really diligent with water consumption in Mexico. Only bottled water and no ice in drinks or frozen type drinks but i did what you did and i think brushing my teeth did it. One morning i just got up and without realizing just brushed my teeth with tap water. I didn't really think anything was gonna happen. I mean i wasn't drinking it. So dumb me figured since i felt fine it must be ok to use tap water for brushing as long as i didn't swallow any. Yea, hum, no. I was so sick by the third day. It was awful. It was a mistake i will never make again. Maybe it's just a hold over illness from travel and a round of antibiotics will do the trick. Fingers crossed. Keep us posted.

Honestly I was starting to get worried about you two! It’s good to know everything turned out okay, even if it was physically uncomfortable for you. Travel has done that to me before, too! On the headache... monitor your blood pressure. I’ve got the same issue, same location on my head, and the nurse wanted me to watch the BP. Take good care of yourselves! Hugs from the other side of MO.
I believe a bit of the head ache was from coming up to altitude as my body was still sick. I couldn't catch up for several days. Even today i get that throb when i get up to get out of bed, but it's far better than it was.
Prayers for your health Elsa, I lost a female friend (age 25) to an Aneurysm, which are more common in females. I moved from a Subaru Outback to a low mileage Toyota FJ Cruiser full-time 4x4. Lower maintenance costs than the Subaru, chain driven engine etc. Shocking with 6-speed manual transmission I'm getting 20mpg and with a huge increase in power (259hp). Expensive at $26k but becoming hippy rare like the VW Bus fast, I had to have it.

Hey hope you are feeling better. Have you looked at the eco stove fans that mount on the stove pipe?It would give you more room to cook with. Bolting a larger steel plate through the rail holes would also work. Take care!
Finally!!! Missed your videos! I am glad you guys are back together now :) What amazing travels though! Oh, i recently went up to the san juans and the islands and saw a few small scamps! I pointed them out to my bf going, look! That is what Elsa and Barron live in!!

I went to Guatemala last year, spent a couple months in whuewhuetenango on the military base there. It’s a wild place lol and the food got to me too 😂
I'm surprised they didn't warn you about the water. Went to Guatemala for a mission trip and that was the FIRST thing they talked to us about. That and look in your shoes before putting them on... Scorpions and such.
Ugh, I should have known myself. We have all been to Guatemala! We all knew. I simply forgot our first night. The hotel was so fancy and I was so ready for bed that I brushed my teeth in the sink without thinking!!

Beautiful! Bummer about getting sick though. I thought you guys had sawyer mini straws? Maybe not but if not get one for the next trip they work great! Pulling our scamp with a smaller vehicle, we found it much better to pull with a anti sway bar kit. Easy and cheap! and really stabilizes everything and keeps everything feeling like one unit. "Curt" makes a good one

Maybe you have POTS too? I get similar head pains and that's one of the causes, good luck, comrade! Such and interesting life to move, decide when and how and where you move and be in the practice of it or the swing of things after some experience. Always interested to learn more from you since healing desert life is my goal too.Good luck and keep kicking ass out there!
Ah, nuts! Hope that stuff is resolved. I ordered my first Firefly Cacao, and it’s arriving to my in La Paz MX when friends arrive for vacation later today. But: I just got Jonas’ update about the trip to the farms. I especially liked how the types of cacao’s includes a description of the farms Firefly supports. Feel better.
