I remember Salmon fishing and the first time a pod of killer whales surounded our 15 foot run - about boat, it was truely amazing. It never got old but only happened three to four times. The other crazy thing we witnessed was every salmon in the vicinity all jumping out of the water at the same time, trying to reduce the sea lice on their scales. A wild sight to see for sure. You two are making good memories to tell your kids and grandkids later down the road. Cheers from Vancouver.

At the beginning of our journey we could watch a grizzly mom and a cup during the salmon run…this was also such a nice experience!
You both are doing really nice work. I'm giving you a little bit of knowledge learned over my years, keeping the brush/grass cut short, helps lower the mosquitoes around the yurt. I love watching your channel and seeing the whales.

Its lovely your adding railing to the deck. And it looks really nice. Need to get the brush cut back, looks like the forest is reclaiming all the work jake did to create the gardens. Safer to keep the wildlife back as well

That is a fine looking railing! You have put in a lot of effort in making it look nice. It improves the look of the whole home!
Incidentally, with a router, I think you called it a milling machine, there is a good direction to push it and a bad direction. The bit rotates clockwise, so the part of the bit that is closest to you is moving to the left. If you are pulling the machine toward you into the wood, you want to push the router to the left so you are pushing the rotating cutting edges of the bit into the wood and you have a lot better control. Of course, on the far side of the bit, the cutting edges are moving to the right so you want to move the machine to the right. If you move the machine the other way, the bit wants to clinb out of the cut then zip across the surface and out of your hands.

Once again Leon's chainsaw skills are a beautiful work of art. It looks great guys. You two should be very proud of yourselves. Hopefully some day you'll catch enough salmon to be able to smoke some. It always looked so good when Jake would do it.
