The fun part about this carrier is that you can launch any plane off of it whether it has a launch bar or not. I tried launching an airliner, which is hard to line up. It got to about 160, but slowly drifted down into the ocean. Going to try again, but with more flaps.
I can see you can align the carrier with the wind ("Align to wind"). Does it work well? Also, depending on aligning the carrier and the wind, what route does it follow? Say the wind is from 180, the carrier should align the aircraft (and the carrier) with 180 for take off, and 180 for landing, but this means the carrier will have to rotate a bit for landing, since the landing area is angled counterclockwise from the axis of the carrier. Does it do that? Did you check, by setting the wind to 180 for example, and strong enough, to see if you have NO cross wind when doing both take off and landing? Also, what route does the carrier follow? There will be different locations. Say close to Cuba's coast. Depending how far from land the carrier is, at some point it will have to stop, disappear, and reappear at the starting point. It can not keep going into land, whatever the wind is, and it can not keep going in the same direction forever. How does this all work? Also, do these carriers work with all fighter jets, only those with hooks, or all aircraft regardless?
I'm not going to bother until they come out with some half-decent documentation - or update the aircraft (whichever comes first). It's pretty poor at the moment.

Worth noting - there is an issue with the Supercarriers add-on at the moment - it causes MSFS to load slowly. Apparently it's being investigated.

I like Milltech’s stuff but I will wait for them to sort out some bugs on this. Loving the Heatblur F14.

It just rotates the carrier while you're sitting on it :)
@@jonbeckett OK. Does it keep going in the same direction "forever", or does it disappears and restarts where it started after 30 minutes or an hour?
@@raymondgoubet I think it keeps going in the direction you set. Not tried it long enough to find out if it loops at all.
This looks so much fun for the sim, can we change the 'loadout' on the carrier deck to make it 'time specific' i.e. a carrier wing of F14's?
If you buy from the marketplace (which I did), it has no weapons. If you buy from elsewhere, you can absolutely change the loadout in-game.

Yes - I bought it - which is how this video came to be :) It may not be available for XBox yet - I can't check because I don't have an XBox.

is the aoa meter in the plane accurate in msfs? ive tried following it but its really difficult for me to land on the carrier with the correct aoa
