@@Chipmunkboy I'm actually referring to the one where they say you get four free games with SNES and no free games with Genesis. Which is false as around that time, the console came bundled with both Sonic 1 and 2
I remember the graphics were highly touted as being innovative, especially since they were CG models playing on a 2D system. I'd say it still holds up. There's a lot of art and personality in the designs.

Wow I've never seen any foreign Nintendo ads like that before in my entire life. They look pretty. I used to have a Nintendo Game Boy Color version of it when I was a preteen but unfortunately I never completed it. I thought I found it very hard. It went to the charity shop in August 2005. I have the SNES version on Nintendo Switch as Nintendo Switch Online. It looks great but it's also very hard. I still like the game though. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
DKC1 stays my favorite donkey kong game. DKC2 and 3 looks different (not including DD) and switching characters is easy, bosses are easy, its not very over-complicated backgrounds like DKC3 and level switching and level text looks/are simpler and its just my childhood DK game.
It's pretty weird and confusing that this 3D Nintendo game series feels very disconnected from the Mario universe despite being a spinoff of the classic 80s arcade games starring Mario (who finally got his own 2D platform games made by Nintendo themselves), but Rare's version of DK was a 3D designed platform and different designed characters with no connections to the Mario franchise whatsoever, and DK himself was just made as a disconnected crossover character made by an outside company

bruh, these are just ads, can't we enjoy both companies consoles? even if the ads says "this one better lol" the "inferior" console can still be fun in my opinion.
@@kawanxros I mean, I usually like Donkey Kong more than Mario sometimes imo (*no offense.) but yeah I agree since I also enjoyed both Nintendo and Sega equally too dispite their differences lol.
Rare case of Nintendo biting back at SEGA in their ads, though unlike the other time with Super Mario All-Stars, there's no false information.
Wait 2+2 _doesn't_ equal Mario?????

I love that catchphrase :)
Cool huh?
Even the sound effects in the Australian commercial, are pretty odd to not be heard in the actual game for some reason.
And this is were the legendary game company Rare was born
This guy clearly hasn't played solar Jetman

Well the DKC games built differently than your typical 2D Mario games
I really thought that commercial for DKC on GBC was for the GBA version because the dancing reminded me of Candy's mini game from the GBA version.
