I just bought some a few days ago, came in post today, then found your video. They are brilliant, paid £11, going to get some more. The zipped pockets with an inner pocket are great. I was lucky, mine are nearly new. Mine are actually a bit long, they have an elastic on the ankles hems. I got another pair of Austrian pants that are the older ones, they have button flies and buttons on the leg pockets and the inner leg pockets. The material is a bit thicker and not rip stop, also the ankles aren’t elasticated, they were cheaper at £7, unfortunately they sent some that were way to small, hopefully they will have my size in stock to replace them.

As someone using these trousers in the austrian army, i can tell you, that these are actually 2 different pants altogether. The Lighter RipStop version is a light pair of pant meant for everyday usage and on warmer days - Its called the KAz Hose "leicht", wich roughly translates to BDU Trousers "light". The heavier one you got, Called KAz Hose schwer - so BDU Trousers "heavy", are meant for use in colder days, as well as often being used in woodland areas with vast thorns coverage, as the thicker fabric helps in stopping them from penetrating the trousers and ripping your skin open

These look good and the price is right. I agree with your ideas on colours for going bush. I like to blend in but also be able to leave the bush and walk into a shop or service station without looking like a Rambo wannabe. Cheers mate!

AussieMark909 I agree 100% mate, I wear camo ONLY when hunting and sometimes not even then. Walking to the shops in camo clothing is not a good look!
