I love these British mysteries. One I really use to look at was “Inspector Linley Mysteries or mini series” I looked at the whole collection of those❤️🤗

This 1-off drama was a great story as a standalone, but also had such potential to lead on to further TV versions of the 'Lloyd' & 'Hill' cop team.

Love is not selfish.. love is understanding.. sharing.. caring.. walking side by side. When you refuse to see their flaws and love them bitter and appreciate them sweet.. then yup, you got it.
Carol Starks’ lamentable acting surely is the most memorable thing about this predictable thriller. And even if one could disregard her, Michelle Collins just isn’t good enough to play opposite the great Philip Glenister. Such a shame he never got to helm a long running detective mystery series
If youre stil on youtube you should watch Sky drama:Mad dogs. 4 seasons: 4 mates(Glenister,Marc Warren,John Simm & Max Beesley go to Majorca to see their old school mate:Ben Chaplin who moved there years earlier on his own. He seems to have done really well for himself despite having asked all of them to go with him but they refused each of them had a different reason. This causes ill feeling & tension all round. Add some dodgy spainish cops, business men, a fancy yacht, sea sand & alcohol into the mix and youve got a realistic edge of your seat drama about things not been as great as they seem!
According to Wikipedia, there were plans to make more episodes as a series, but the unfavourable audience reaction to this pilot meant no more were made.
This was good until the second murder. It makes no sense that the victim would tell someone she believed to be the murderer that she knew it was him. She would tell anyone else BUT him. One has to suspend too much disbelief.

I'm only about 25 minutes, I'm not quite sure how much more I can watch without totally Crashing asleep because this past monday that I have experienced, it was a very very long day. ! Really 2 days up, : From starting my very early sunday started, 3:30 am through the entire Monday till now Tuesday the 18th m.. Now, 1:51 am I AM - SO. SO BURNED -- OUT 44 damn hours I feel like I, could sleep for, 3 or 4 friggin days !!!!! To all the guys out there if you need a vacation from your wife. ? Do you need a vacation from your business ? Just tell your wife you're not feeling right and you want to go into the hospital to get the check up Well there's your vacations from everything and everybody I will definitely catch up with this and I'll be casting it to my TV.. If you reach I lied to my life and tell her I don't feel right I'm going to go in for some test. To the Hospital Shit, 4 days of that would be like a vacation compared to my life So, Thanks, for new Detective series good night.

No. (spoiler). It was the murderer. Remember Kim had left a message on her phone that "Sorry, I've got to say something." They made us think Murray was after her, but that was a red herring!

Am only 11 minutes in. Noticing a lot of blatant and nuanced references to intrusiveness - both at the police department and the school. A rare choice of focus in any film .... !? Interesting ....
Alright but not the best. The characterisation of Lloyd and Hill could have been more attractive and less skimpy. The plotline was a little tired. John Light as the first prime suspect was excellent though.
how is it the teachers all look like teenagers? and the cops look like they are barely out of college.... who casted this thing? somebody paid money to produce it? really?
Not a very good episode. And everyone knows it is never the obvious person at the beginning - so I'm betting on Patrick the blond teacher in the Alpha Romeo he was suppose to be fixing - and the Sister/Twin screwing around. The hair should match the DNA of a twin - until 2005+ when they found a way to look deeper into DNA of twins). And the wife is a bit weird for jumping to conclusions Against her hubby rather than the normal "benefit of the doubt." I'm only 1/2 way through - so Let's see who killed the 15 year old babe.
Glenister... Life on Mars did him no favours...he overacts underacting...got one expression intense brooding constipation...the man should take a laxative...this bloody series deserved to tank...C U in another life Phil.,,

Michelle Collins has impressed me before, very versatile actress, vastly underrated, she was wasted on EastEnders.
