"Is this some kind of bust?" "Well... it's very impressive, yes!" STILL one of my absolute favorite innuendo lines EVER! Also, the entire sequence in the Blues Bar has more high quality jokes than 10 other comedy films put together. Perfection.
Some of the jokes were borrowed from the original Police Squad! series and that was one of them. But still funny on the repeat - it's how Leslie delivers it.
It's interesting to see Leslie Nielsen's earlier stuff where he played serious roles. Not that his delivery is any different, but it feels like something is missing without all of the chaos going on around him.
Love this movie! Did you notice the guy pointing the gun at the officers in the police station that said, "Say your prayers"? Weird Al, I actually just noticed that. Plus he did the theme song to another great Leslie Nielsen movie, Spy Hard. Finally made the connection. Now, my life is partly complete.
"Blowing away a fleeing suspect with my 44 magnum used to be everything to me. I enjoyed it. Well, who wouldn't?" I really can't see anyone else delivering lines like this with a straight face and be so freaking hilarious. Leslie Nielsen was a comedy giant. He is sorely missed.
Leslie Nielsen did not find fame late in life. He started acting in 1950. It wasn’t until airplane in 1980 that he started doing comedy. Prior to that he was always a dramatic actor. He made at least one appearance on the TV show Columbo which was from the 70s and he was in a 1956 sci-fi movie called for bidden planet. Leslie‘s acting career spanned over six decades.
The success of the Naked Gun movies surpassed anything he had done before, though.

Forbidden Planet, a sciFi classic. Forbidden Planet introduced the discrete laser trace effects later used in Star Wars and BattleStar Galactica in the late '70s.
I would recommend you guys to check out History of the World Part 1. A Mel Brooks classic. Or if you want more Leslie Nielson, Wrongfully Accused and Spy Hard.
Kentucky Fried Movie - Before Airplane there was this movie by the Zuckers! It’s hilarious and gag after gag! Guys you’d love it!! Love to see you add it to future comedy lists!!!
Another great reaction guys! Since you guys have been getting into sequels lately, might I suggest Police Academy 2 and The Sandlot 2, this you already did the first ones.
I loved how the 3 Oilers were played by actors from The Twilight Zone. Always hilarious is Lloyd Bochner (Father of Hart, aka Coke Guy from Die Hard) running around screaming "IT'S A COOKBOOK"!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@14:40 Nobody notices that Savage is putting a sound suppressor on a revolver, which doesn’t do anything to suppress the noise. I’d like to think that Director David Zucker had Anthony James use a revolver instead of a semiautomatic pistol in order to poke fun at all of the movies and television shows that show people putting sound suppressors on revolvers.
If you guys are looking for another movie with this kind of humor, watch Wrongfully Accused with Leslie Nielson. I love it so much. Same kind of silly comedy.
"Awfully big moustache" is my absolute favourite Leslie Nielson line. Maybe except for "Who are you and how did you get in here?" "I'm a locksmith, and I'm a locksmith"
I saw this movie when released. Saw it hundred of times. Never occured to me that the lion at the end and the zoo event were related. I feel dumb now. On my defense, this movie could totally have a random lion coming off nowhere.
Brothers! You are my people! I can't believe I've slept on watching you guys react to movies because you both keep me laughing. Naked Gun 2 1/2 is one of my favorite movies and my brother and I quote it all the time. I'll definitely watch more of your videos because I'm pretty sure you guys are my brothers. Lol, keep up the great work!!! 😂
I love the ongoing mystery of where Frank lives, here he is in Washington DC, but in the first movie he's in LA California, I think the 3rd movie was a different place, and I. Police Squad, sometimes they are in New York, sometimes St Louis as the Arch is visible , sometimes DC, LA, etc...
After the first Naked Gun, general expectation was that there is no way making a sequel perfectly on par (or even half was as good). But ZAZ did it! and Leslie Nielsen delivered another stellar performance PS: And yes (+wow +hats off), NG 33.33 isn't less funny by a single bit, tons of new jokes - no recycling there
I was waiting on you guys to get to this one, & hopefully the third & final movie too. The lady who played Barbera Bush was actually an Opera singer from what I remember, her likeness to the former first lady is simply uncanny.
If you end up watching the third Naked Gun film, be sure to watch the 1949 film noir WHITE HEAT beforehand - the film’s basic plot is a spoof of that film
My dudes, Leslie Nielsen had already been famous for decades. He played the lead in _Forbidden Planet_ in 1956, one of the top ten sci-fi movies of all time. He was mostly a TV actor but he was known, that was the whole thing about Airplane, it took known dramatic actors and put them in comedy roles.
What's truly sad is I really love these movies and I wish we could make them nowadays but I don't think that'll ever happen people are way too sensitive
I thought at firsts that the lion attack was so random then i remenber Frank let out all these animal of the zoo in the tank crash, genius follow of a gag
The only other person I've seen do the deadpan comedy as funny as Leslie Nielsen was William Shatner in Airplane 2. It's not as funny as the first, but Shatner hits peaks that had me laughing harder than the first.
Did you guys catch Weird Al's cameo in this movie? I honestly seen this movie soo many times but never noticed it til just a few years ago. Also the guys who made this movie and all the others they've done always have at least 1 sick burn on Detroit. It's always something I look forward to
There are actually 3xLeslie Nielsen The Naked Gun movies the one you have just watched, the 1st one was just 'The Naked Gun' and the 3rd was 'Naked Gun 33&3rd OK!
Guys....... there are 6 full episodes of Police Squad, the series these films wer based on. You will injure yourself from laughing. And you will love every moment of it.
Leslie also did a bunch of smaller lesser known comedies after the Naked Guns. Like Spy Hard, Mr Magoo, and one of my personal favorites, Wrongfully Accused. Which is basically a The Fugitive parody with a few other movies tossed in, like mission impossible. He was also in some Santa Claus movie. I never heard of til my dad put it on last Xmas.
Leslie Neilson also played in the comedy movie scary movie 3 or scary movie 4.he was funny in that he played the president in it.scary movie 3 spoofed the movie signs
17:00 According to the audio commentary that I heard on the original DVD release, that was technically an out-take. However, as an additional joke, given the nature of the film, they left it in.
Leslie Nielsen once said that the secret to his comedy was that he didn't get the joke, so he always played it straight.
Great move Love this movie ❤️ 🎬
He was joking obviously 😂
The lion popping out of nowhere to attack Robert Goulet is one of the best villain deaths of all time.
And the setup for it was brilliant as well.
I´m sure Elvis would have liked it too.
Naked Gun 33 1/3 is 🐐'd please don't make us wait a year this time.. vote this up

You can NEVER Go wrong with THE LEGEND Leslie Nielsen!! R.I.P.
Rest in peace. You forgot a few letters.
"Is this some kind of bust?"
"Well... it's very impressive, yes!"
STILL one of my absolute favorite innuendo lines EVER!
Also, the entire sequence in the Blues Bar has more high quality jokes than 10 other comedy films put together. Perfection.
Not to mention 'the bust!'
Even without seeing their Black Russian..!
I totally agree, I could be mistaken, I believe Airplane was his first major role of be comedic
@@marsanchez2500 yes Airplane was his 1st comedy
Forbidden Planet (1956) is my favorite of Leslie Nielsen's serious roles.
Heh I knew him from Creepshow before I saw his comedies.
Yeah Weird Al appears in all 3
@darkwingdunk2804 ok, I never realized that. Makes sense since he's the spoof kind of music.
"...with a moustache, about six foot three..."
- "That's an awfully big moustache..."
🤣🤣🤣
"Blowing away a fleeing suspect with my 44 magnum used to be everything to me. I enjoyed it. Well, who wouldn't?"
I really can't see anyone else delivering lines like this with a straight face and be so freaking hilarious.
Leslie Nielsen was a comedy giant.
He is sorely missed.
"Because of you, [D.C.] is being overrun by baboons!"
"Isn't that the fault of the VOTERS?"
The faint rimshot was the cherry on top of that joke. 😁🤣
Dr. Meinheimer was Harry Potter's, Uncle Dursley.
I knew he looked so familiar
@@OctoKrool HE is also the Duke of England in Pirates of the Carribean 4!
15:41 That splat...
It's so freaking *_DARK_* how they did that! 😆
I've watched this trilogy so many times; they never get old. 😁

Great reaction, guys! Don't keep us waiting too long for the third movie!
2014's "What we do in the Shadows" would be right up your guys' comedic alley...
I would recommend you guys to check out History of the World Part 1. A Mel Brooks classic. Or if you want more Leslie Nielson, Wrongfully Accused and Spy Hard.
I second that request! We need a Miracle!
Avoid Mr Magoo.
Fun fact. The guy in the police station brandishing a gun is actually Weird Al.
My brother and I used to constantly quote from all the Naked Gun movies, but "Don't get up" was one we used SO much! :D Brings back a good memory.
Leslie Nielsen deserves a nail national holiday. He was so good to do this with a straight face.
Your reactions are hilarious. It makes an already funny movie even funnier. 😂
9:34 Weird Al Yankovic's second "Naked Gun" cameo!
Rayos que gran película como extrañamos al maestro del humor absurdo Leslie Nielsen saludos desde Perú 🇵🇪
The Naked Gun series is one of my favorites of all time. Now, onto part 3 fellas.
The best part about the Ghost / pottery scene is that one of the Zucker Brothers directed Ghost, then spoofed his own movie
If you've seen the James Bond film "Goldfinger" you'll recognize the bomb at the end.
I like this movie and Part 3, but the original is one of the funniest movies ever 😂
I recently watched Casablanca and the "Sam play our song"part is now hilarious to me. It is also funny with no context.
As a lifelong wheelchair user I found British actor as Meinhimer hysterical
Has anyone ever done the "Don't get up" line with you?
I love that the "Say your prayers" guy with the gun was Weird Al lol
Best line of the movie
"Yes, it is.And I have the receipt to prove it"
Kentucky Fried Movie - Before Airplane there was this movie by the Zuckers! It’s hilarious and gag after gag! Guys you’d love it!! Love to see you add it to future comedy lists!!!

"And that's where cars come from." You guys are frickin' hilarious!
I put it up there with the "Bingo" gag from the first movie
and the
"Where's your prison number?"
"It's unlisted." from the 3rd one. 😂
Leslie Neilsenis great in REPOSSESSED a parody of the Exorcist with Lind Blair reprising her role.
I think it’s not “new coat, sir” but “your coat, sir?” so he might take it and check it for him
I saw this movie when released. Saw it hundred of times. Never occured to me that the lion at the end and the zoo event were related. I feel dumb now.
On my defense, this movie could totally have a random lion coming off nowhere.
The baboon joke is timeless

if you enjoyed this movie, you need to see Top Secret. It's the same kind of humor, and has some of the funniest jokes i've heard
I love how you can tell that Weird Al is having a blast playing the gunman at the police HQ. 🙂
Slapstick comedies are a lost art. You boys need to see Top Secret, Val Kilmer is hilarious
Never another like Leslie. My favorite non comedic role of his will always be Creepshow.
Good thing is that all 3 movies in this franchise are (at the very least) good. Pretty rare for a comedy trilogy
I feel like you guys would definitely like the third one. It's a lot more over the top, but it's still hilarious.
After the first Naked Gun, general expectation was that there is no way making a sequel perfectly on par (or even half was as good). But ZAZ did it! and Leslie Nielsen delivered another stellar performance

Awesome Movie and Work Guys, Thanks 👍👍👍😅😅 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
You edited out the best part where he says "In all fairness the last 2 I backed over with my car, luckily they happened to be drug dealers"
The reaction from the actor playing Bush was classic.
Easily my favourite joke of the film.
Leslie Nielsen es extraordinario, siempre me hará feliz verlo! 🇦🇷🖐️Great reaction
Мой любимый фильм. Ржу в тех же метах. Как он выглядел? Это был мужчина, у него были усы, примерно 173. О, это длинные усы)))
I can't wait to see your reactions to the third film
My dudes, Leslie Nielsen had already been famous for decades. He played the lead in _Forbidden Planet_ in 1956, one of the top ten sci-fi movies of all time.
He was mostly a TV actor but he was known, that was the whole thing about Airplane, it took known dramatic actors and put them in comedy roles.
9:30 so thats what Al did before he got into parody music.
@18:08 I miss those old BS newspapers that you could read while waiting in grocery checkout lanes.
"Trick Cigar Blows Man's Head Off." 🤣
Have you guys heard that Seth Mcfarland wants Liam Neeson to play Frank in a new naked gun? Dude, bring it.
The actor playing the Chief of Staff is trying not laugh when introducing the energy companies.
What's truly sad is I really love these movies and I wish we could make them nowadays but I don't think that'll ever happen people are way too sensitive
I thought at firsts that the lion attack was so random then i remenber Frank let out all these animal of the zoo in the tank crash, genius follow of a gag

I love his cameo in this one, it’s not obvious like the other two so it is a bit of a Where’s Al
Frank and Jane's other song is "99 bottles of beer."
Thanks for another reaction video, David Draiman and the horn that signals the end of a factory work day in old Disney cartoons
Shout out to the oil men from the 80s " Dynasty " featured in the beginning
7:30 From Casablanca. "Play it Sam, you played it for her, you can play it for me".
There were 5 TV episodes before the movies. Most of these jokes were used before on there. They are certainly worth watching though.
9:33 - That guy with the gun is Weird Al. I don't know how I missed that back in the day !
Putting a boot on the wheelchair is an amazing gag
Before his comedy career he was a respected dramatic leadiing man. Watch Forbidden Planet!
You Guys are the best love your reactions makes me laugh more and more AWSOME and thank you
Hi from New Zealand 🏈
The Adventures of Ford Fairlane
@9:33 Was that Weird Al?
that clock scene was hilarious 😂
I think the third is even better! Cant wait until you do that one!
That's literally the least funny
The 3rd one is my favorite. Can't wait for your reaction!!!
You need to see the original tv show. Police Squad. So funny
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
There are actually 3xLeslie Nielsen The Naked Gun movies the one you have just watched, the 1st one was just 'The Naked Gun' and the 3rd was 'Naked Gun 33&3rd OK!
"OMG his grapes!"🤣
4:25 best joke out of the whole movie lol
Guys....... there are 6 full episodes of Police Squad, the series these films wer based on. You will injure yourself from laughing. And you will love every moment of it.
Every time the waiter passed behind the characters were speaking at the table something would happen to him. Onetime his hair was missing Lololol
Leslie Nielsen and the villain, Robert Goulet, attended the same high school in Edmonton, Alberta.
Leslie also did a bunch of smaller lesser known comedies after the Naked Guns. Like Spy Hard, Mr Magoo, and one of my personal favorites, Wrongfully Accused. Please do Naked Gun 33 and 1/3 as that is an absolute classic.
You guys should watch "Wrongfully Accused" with Leslie Nielsen. It is a hilarious spoof comedy.
17:00 According to the audio commentary that I heard on the original DVD release, that was technically an out-take. However, as an additional joke, given the nature of the film, they left it in.
Hey folks, at the 9:33 mark, the guy with the gun saying, "Say Your Prayers!!" is none other than........Weird Al Yankovik :-)
Love your reactions, cheers from Brazil!!
Голый пистолет 2 хороший фильм!
Sunday night boring af i was like pls let OCTOKROOL come thru like they normally do
...they did
If you liked these movies, then you'll definitely like the 1993 movie "Loaded Weapon 1" which is a spoof of Lethal Weapon. 😂
Its not the same thing but a serious/not serious comedy movie would be The man who knew too little. Starring Bill Murray. One of my favorite comedies.
7:35 I remember spit-taking during this scene.
