Hello, i know this is an older video but hopefully someone will respond, do the front axles need to be removed to adjust the front eccentric to tighten the front chain? I removed that bolt on the bottom and some others that looked like they may be keeping it from moving on my 97 scrambler 4x4 but its not moving. I do still have my axles connected. Do they need to be disconnected? Any help would be very appreciated. What would be keeping it from moving? My middle eccentric came loose very easy.
I checked and don't have that video. I think it was on my old phone when it crapped out. If what I remember, it should be done almost the same as the front. You can also search some of the Polaris forums for more help on tightening it.

Instead of all the grinding, how about just using a chain breaker?

That didn't help they all got wiring issues and not starting 😕 mine runs great but I just lost all the teeth on the front sprocket so now its a 2x4

@Ericfunk is there a chain on the gear side that runs to the back drive line? I've been stumped on why the 4wd is not engaging.

How do u clean or lube the middle and front chains since they only spin while driving?
If I remember correctly, you may have to take the chain guard off to do this.
I usually put it on Jack stands and put it in gear then the tires spin by itself cause their is no weight
The master link clip has to go on in direction of travel.
It shouldn't matter cuz if u go in reverse ur going opposite way any way.
