Moisturizing, regular trims, and protective styles are a GAME CHANGER for real!❤
This timing on point, just got my cornrows 30 minutes ago
Is it really though? Did you deep condition before ?
@@eggsquizitinehe mean “now i know”
@@18sznzsure i get that but the timing would have been better before the hairstyle, no?
He knows the schedules when you get your hair did no?
Same bro
I’m a woman but I’m starting to become more inclined to follow male natural hair influencers. There’s a MUCH lower emphasis on buying products which is a welcome change
I practically live in cornrows and my hair has grown so much because I haven’t been manipulating my hair as much. Just leave your hair alone
You’re thinking like me 😂
Yea true
This is true I grew my hair got three years awhile ago and it was past the bottom of my neck
Me wanting to skip the video knowing damn well my hair don’t grow fast 😂😂
Literally me 😂😊
Deep conditioning is a game changer for real
Braids, mainly cornrows, will grow you hair faster than it naturally does. Just make sure to leave em in at least 2-3 weeks and wash it with just water and apply leave in conditioner after. Lastly don’t forget to always sleep with a satin Durag or bonnet
Cornrows cause tension on the scalp which can increase hair loss and decrease circulation. You have to alternate cornrows styles. The best thing is two strand twist.
You need to shampoo your hair its a reason you do it first before using conditioner.
Basic science, just using water isn't going to remove oils and dirt from the pores. You need those pores clear before you use conditioner.
Correct, because you manipulate it less so you retain more length. Gotta add that the cornrows can't be too tight; just snug enough.
@@DM-lj2mnplus men hair grow faster than women hair does.
Everyone doesn’t have the same scalp…. Sometimes hair doesn’t grow the way it should because of either a fungus that you can’t not see or vitamin deficiency. You have to wash your hair period you can also just use apple cider vinegar because it makes the scalp healthy. You need a healthy scalp in order for hair growth. Your hair regiment isn’t going to work for everyone.
"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
Romans 10:9-10 NIV
Amen, Jesus is the only way 🙏🏽❤️
Amen
Jesus is a God that died then God Himself raised him from the dead? Nice logic. God dies to defeat death then returns and takes the sin of mankind? Stop being blind. 🤣 What’s the case of those who r*pe people? Or kill someone senselessly? Will Jesus take their load and they’ll be forgiven and go to paradise? Do you hear yourself speak?
Amen
You just touched me in the most unfathomable way. Amen!!!🙏🏼🙌🏽🛐
He right because the hair be growing but breaking at the ends at the same time because it's dry brittle and needs a deep moisturizer.
Grease.
@@kittybxoxoGrease is not a moisturizer 🤦🏿♂️
I’m aware that it’s a sealant but for braids grease and water works 🙄
@@kittybxoxocorrect. Ppl over complicate this.
@@fnsilly8983 big facts
He definitely wasn’t lying! Did that same method and my hair flourished. 💯
I used to really be on my deep conditioning game, need to get back to that
Deep condition your hair after a braid takedown and let your scalp rest for a few days before you put in new braids. Sometimes too much tension on the scalp damages it.
I'm so happy to see this again I think guys with cornrows and braids look so nice looking.❤
I agree!
It's funny cause the majority consensus was women like dudes with they hair cut after a certain age.
im scared that some people might think im a delinquent or something. but no lol, im a regular guy thats just trying to grow his hair fast
@@Samuellwrightbro no.
He not lying neither my hair grew like crazy with them cornrows and headband wigs to go on top baby 😮💨 and them mini/medium twist!!!
You think it would grow better if you didn't wear a wig?
@@jzurita6186I’d argue wearing the wig was better cause their hair was protected from the elements lol
@@aamateur-artist that's bullshit. Me and a bunch of men I know would do the minimum to our hair and it'll grow super long. And you can't say its cause we're men, because depending on your genetics, the only thing higher testosterone eventually causes is baldness 😂😂
Deep conditioning products/ DIY options pls
I’ll take advice from him because mens hair just be growing healthy mean while women are hair be braking off and brittle I think because they don’t manipulate there hair all the time
Truth. Happend for my bf. I made a hair growth oil for him, and his hair took off! Maintenance is key!
No lies were told! This is very good natural hair care advice that I thought was a gimmick that stylist used to charge extra but I wish I listen to them years ago. But I’m glad I started using this process and I am seeing progress.
Yep leave in conditioner is the key, plus I use a little castor oil every other day to minimize build up because i have dry scalp
This is facts 💯!!!
He speakin facts fr y’all my sht exactly like this picture rn just wash y’all sht everytime you switch styles, I’m 4c
I want mine to be of bros length
Ima give it my all
He ain’t lying
I used to get tapers in the back so that’s why my hang time short af but
Jabril bro at the end of the day. Time is everything. My hair steadily grows without any need for conditioner or any of that. I just get my ends cut and let it grow
Thanks for the knowledge and game cause I’m actually trying to grow mines to that length now .
My braids might be touching my neck in about 4-6… i gained about 1/2 inch or more of hang time after every takedown and re-braid. After deep conditioning followed by a hair mask on top‼️‼️
Rice water and aloe gel from the plant grew mines tremendously
Did u apply aloe gel to the scalp?
no to the kneecaps
@@Terel1
@Terel1 nooo!! Don't do that! It's not the worst thing but long term it's not great BECAUSE your scalp doesn't need as much moisture as the rest of your hair. Moisture through water is important ofc for the scalp but just trust me, you don't wanna block your follicles or nothing like that. Also sebum production will be chilling on your scalp unless you're having problems with that so your scalp will be fine! Just apply to the shaft of the hair - the middle and particularly the ends because its the oldest part.
Shrinking is no joke.
What do you mean rice water? How do I get that? How do I use the aloe gel from the plant?
Thank you God bless you for sharing your knowledge 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 🙏🏾
Appreciate you big bro for the info. U a real one fr🫡

Yes I love Sydney Nicole Products Rosemary and peppermint herbal deep conditioner… not only is it packed with organic ingredients but it improves the health of my hair every time💗
Hair growth can be a slow process, but Dermalmd Hair Growth Serum has accelerated it for me. My hair feels more resilient and looks stunning!
Sir, you have wonderfully strong eyebrows
I only braided my hair once. My hair long and did it without braiding it nor deep conditioning it honestly. The first time I got my hair braided was new years of 2023 and my first time deep condition my hair was back in November.
Good Genetics ftw
Yes so true. I was bald from a fight. Now my hair is to the middle of my back😊

Facts bro
I appreciate the info 💪😎
So more info or if you have you braids in you can oil it and just don’t touch as much so you hair can actually grow
Let’s go!

Thanks Bro. ❤
Naw the secret is to drink plenty of water, make sure your not vitamin deficient esp with iron snd zink, plenty of green veg., make sure you have a healthy scalp if not see a dermatologist, use a wide tooth comb and have moisture and slip when detangling, deep condition and steam treatments, most importantly is low manipulation, combing with a widetooth comb and having slip so your not breaking your hair off and most importantly getting regular trims, ppl dont get trims so their split ends split to the root and causes breakage which then leaves no room for length retention. We all can grow hair unless you have a disease or condition. Yes genetics plays a factor in hair bonds, thickness and how fast, but the key to length is moisture, detangling carefully and trims, the key to growth is water, what you you put in your body and low manipulation.
i need more solutions
So true ❤
Motivating the curls 😂
Facts!
What products y’all use to deep condition ?? Give me the whole rundown actually shampoo and all ❗️😭
What’s a good product to use when taking out braids and washing ?
dude u r gorgeous
Thanks

Yep my broads shot up , I keep mine it for a month at a time tho .
Every single leave in conditioner I get turns into white powdery residue but my hair still feels dry like “un-moisturized”. I did a hot oil treatment with extra virgin coconut oil and it turned my hair into straw 😭
Is the Royal Hydration Treatment deep back in stock
Any deep conditioner recommendations
Mielle
@@DEEORMI was coming to say this! I only use their products and I have 4C hair. The growth is impressive!
Indian clay mask!! Good for both the face and hair as it clears up clogged pores (hair &face) for people who have acne and completely strips off any gunk inside the braids/hair.
It’ll clean ALOT more gunk from the face and hair when you add pure apple cider vinegar (WITH the mother inside)
A lot some protein deep conditioner treatments too to keep the curls a’ curling . … Not too much though…
Tea rinses are basically water but with tea! The best and easier way to cleanse the hair while add nutrients on the strands… massage thoroughly and treat tea rinses like a water spray.. tea dries up your hair strands though so unlike water spray… don’t spray it on your hair too much…
Also also, don’t be afraid to add in new oils in your hair/body butter. It’ll add more nutrients in your hair instead of what’s already in the original body butter.
Cornrows can pull your edges out, people put them in tight as hell
💯💯
So true
Can I replace deep conditioning with oiling it n washing
For how long should I keep them?
yup
My cornrows are short asf and my lil sister can’t braid that well because her hands can’t grip my hair that well she made them tight and now my throat hurt when I move my neck 😭😭😭😭
Damn bro she did you dirty
Facts
Lmao I thought this was me for split second
That’s not shoulder length. But agreed, deep conditioning is lit.
My hair hit my shoulders and I don’t deep condition. I need to start tho
Is alikay deep conditioning good
❤
Thank you but how can you unlock the knot safely?
What is a deep conditioning?
Yes but if you have 4c it can take you 3 to 4 years to reach like this. I have 4c high porosity hair and when I wear my afro my hair curl up to a 1/2 to a 1/3 of it original length.
You should be deep conditioning your hair every time you shampoo it, which really should be once a week.
💯💯💯💯
Thank you; six months in:•
Funny I came accross this. Instinctives put a deeep condition in today. Imma try it for 6 month's and see what happens
Damn cuz u look just like unc. Ur hair long as hell since last time I saw u.
My hair grows so fast i decided to loc it up … 5 years of locs and im 3/4 down my bacj
sheesh salut to you bruddah
Fastest hair growth no undercuts !
Taking your cornrows down does the most damage to your hair. All the breakage can take away growth. Take your time. One by one. Use a detangler or leave in conditioner when doing it.
Thats a major tip right there frfr good stuff
Is it normal for hair to fall off?
I left the conditioner in for 4 months can’t wait until it’s time to take it out
HUH!?
😂😂😂😂
@@whyyou268there’s nothing wrong with leaving conditioner in it hydrates hair anyway
@@888ricchbro you can’t leave in conditioner for months wth😂
Damn 1/3 of a year? 🫣
Every wash without fail
every wash 🙏🏾
So what does deconditioning means again
Deep condition
Conditioning is good but the length of time depends on your level of shrinkage. If you're 20, 50, 70 or 90% shrinkage. Someone at 90% shrinkage could have bra length hair and their shrinkage may take even longer for hang time.
Facts. If my hair is completely shrunken it stops at my ears but fully stretched its past my shoulders.
My hair grows fast but I have dandruff. When I wash my hair it shrinks, I’m in a conundrum. I spray herbs that I boil, mixed with some essential oils for my hair. It keeps it’s nice and neat but is there another method I can use? I get retwist ever two months. I wash every three weeks and deep condition too.
Embrace shampoo, shrinkage and learning how to braid and twist your own hair. If you use dandruff shampoo once a week, it will go away. That's the gold standard for healthy scalp and hair.
