    To each his own but I think some of the stuff we practice with our hair is anti-black. The whole concept of women having laid edges and men cutting and lining up their edges is wrapped up in a lot of anti-blackness dealing with our shame for our natural hair textures. I rock an afro but when I don't have an afro I'll get cornrows. I don't get a lineup though. I love my hair texture so I rock it proudly and that includes letting my edges grow.

    • @chocowaff
      @chocowaff Месяц назад

      @@scorpionoir4952it’s not. Every culture across the world does things to themselves and their hair to make themselves look a big more presentable. Your view is like saying ‘when I wake up in the morning I don’t freshen up my hair, I just leave it the way it is, bed hair and all cause if I picked it out that’s anti-black’. A black person who lets their hair naturally lock could easily say the same thing about you and your Afro. It’s not anti-black it’s just common, every-day grooming. But like you said to each his own.

      Are you sure it's breakage? It might be shed hair, 100-150 strands of our hair sheds daily, and when you braid your hair the shed hair can't go anywhere so it accumulates untill you take your braids out. Shed strands are usually as long as the hair on your head and if you look closely at one end there's a tiny white bulb. Breakage is usually shorter pieces of hair with no bulb.

    Fellas he ain’t lying bout the oils that grow facial hair but I’m here to tell you it’s all genetics you can grow more than you have but to have what some others have is simply genetics... I miss my face sometimes but due to the uncontrollable genes and coarseness I have to wear a beard otherwise I will have a face full of spider eggs

      Or go to a dermatologist and get looked at, if you have the funds for that.

      @@harlan5339 that’s an option, but the costs behind it probably isn’t worth it. I know we all want to look like Rick Grimes when that badass beard made him a badass, but in my opinion everyone is unique and we all wish we had… Enjoy yours, it aligns you with the things you want and image goes a long way, we all judge and let no one tell you otherwise due to the fact that you will do what pleases you and keep away what you dislike aka judgment but if you really want it look at minixodal lol don’t know if I spelled it right but you get the jist haha 😂
