      I wish he'd score on a play like that, he always comes so close but can't tuck it in.

      Right? He scored a couple times when he dangled but most times he screws up but still entertaining.

      He was pissed that Bergy got pushed by a leaf going to fist bumps so he decided to make pilon Polak look silly

      He’s like the NHL equivalent of an NFL ballhawk, the way he forces turnovers all the time. Very underrated player.

    It's ABSOLUTELY FRIGHTENING how much young talent the B's have & how many goals they score, mixed with the All-Star/HOF veterans. It might be the most balanced team in the league right now & for years to come

    Thanks for posting!
    I live in Rochester NY. The old farm club for Boston so I have been a fan since I was 6. I have NHL Center ICE and usually get NESEN for most games. Best color guys in the business. Come playoff time, I can't get the NESEN coverage of the game. It is not the same without the color crew and thats why I say thanks.
    I spent 13 years in CT after college and got "WSBK" on my cable. Yup - Sanderson doing the color commentary and the Cam Neely days. My wish list was fulfilled several times. I saw Boston beat Montreal in the old garden just before it closed. I also went to see them every time they came to Hartford to play the Whalers:) That was a great arena complex.
    I love the new coaching concept and that the players bought in. You can tell this is a tight team in the locker room and on the ice. Just like the 2011 team. The 4 line 5's remind me of the 4th line of 2011. These guys will be better with some more experience. Very impressed with the rookies and coaching staff.
    Cassidy better win the "Jack Adams".

    I swear the garden was so electric last night, you could have run the whole city of Boston on it... fantastic game. Had a viewing party at my college with 30 people and that was fantastic

    We had way too much trouble with zone entry as well as breakouts, trouble started with the defense and ended with consistency. We have got to pick it up against Tampa because this shit won't fly against them.

      @@greyk610 Well him quitting certainly didn’t help. I mean ultimately it wouldn’t have made the difference because we’ve had several chances with him in net to win the cup and then come an elimination game he shits himself. His numbers in games where his team faces elimination are below average to say the least. Yea he helps up get there but what difference does it make if he can’t finish the job? I wouldn’t blame him if we lost game 7 to the blues 2-1, but we lost 4-1. In game 6 against the blackhawks he gave up two goals within 30 of each other with barely a minute left and we lost 3-2 if memory serves

    Bruins will be dog tired against Tampa Bay. The Leafs screwed them indirectly.

  • @MAGA4EVA1986
    @MAGA4EVA1986 3 года назад

    Great game BUT it’s yet ANOTHER reminder of how rask SHITS HIS PANTS IN ELIMINATION GAMES! His stats in games where his team faces elimination are NOT good, I’m NOT a rask fan AT ALL and that’s one of the reasons why. There are a couple others as well. I have had debates with several people about this topic because it’s such a hot button issue with B’s fans. I grew up 8 miles from the Garden/Fleet center and in my 35 years as a fan I can’t ever remember a Bruins goalie being so polarizing. You either love him and think he’s the greatest goalie in Bruins history like “The Hockey Guy” (Shannon) does OR you’re one of the ones like me who really dislike him (strictly from a hockey standpoint because I don’t know him personally obviously so I wouldn’t comment on him on that level, one think I will say is we both LOVE METALLICA so that’s a huge plus in my book, especially because they’re my second favorite band of all time (Alter Bridge is number one) but I dislike him on the ice and think his numbers aren’t the whole story. In my opinion he’s a choke artist as well as a guy who doesn’t take his PROFESSION seriously enough in terms of caring about the outcome. When he loses a game whether it’s the first game of the season or game seven of the Stanley Cup finals, he has a very laissez-faire attitude about it, basically like: oh well shucks better luck next time, and when you’re being paid MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to play, we expect you to be more invested in the outcome. Now I realize that being from Boston we tend to be overly invested in our sports which for the record I do not think is a problem but the fans shouldn’t be more invested then the ones being paid by their money. As a fully disabled combat veteran I have a unique feeling about him quitting on his team but this post is already too long without going into that situation, all I will say is he didn’t endear himself to me (or many other hardcore fans for that matter) by doing what he did.
