Wish I could come across the Troop Carrier in a charity shop for tenner, I'd be all over it. Something I really wanted as a child but never had.

I've been a toy collector for quite some time, but only recently have I started getting into customs and restoration, so I'm learning a lot every day. These videos have been a big help and inspiration! I just replaced the leg band in a Battle Armor Skeletor I've had in a drawer since the mid 90s, and I hope to repair the gimmick at a later date once I've worked up the courage.
    Thanks for all you do!

I remember the truck moulded in tan, it was in the GI Joe comic too. So people have colour options.

Great restoration there Dave on some great classic figures, wish I could find an Action Force haul in a charity shop! I have been looking, maybe one day. I have, however, found a webshop that has a "Beaterbox" and I've managed to pick up some great bargains on vintage Star Wars and GI Joe that just needed a bit of love a care. Thanks for the tips and inspiration, boil and pop, now that's a tip worth remembering!

Great tip about the baby powder. Action Force figures having those rubbery limbs tends to increase the chance of tacky paint I've noticed. This will help me out as I have some I'm painting too.

I kind of liked the silver paint, but I can understand wanting them to be as close to how they originally looked as possible

I can see why a child would have done that. I did it myself many times. But for this video and my collection I wanted them to look as close to original as I can get.

Great video! I grew up with GI Joe, and now I collect the '82-'94 A Real American Hero toy line. Being an American, I never knew Action Force existed until I started collecting GI Joe. Now, I'm fascinated by Action Force. It's like an alternate universe! I really need to pick up a few Action Force toys for my Joe collection.

Thank you for all of the amazing ideas and suggestions regarding vintage toy restoration. I did have a quick question if you don’t mind… I have some inspector Gadget 1983 Bandai vinyl figures which are missing paint. Any suggestions as to what paint would work best on the figures and which colours would best match. First time vintage toy restorer. I was hoping to get it right the first time without spending hundreds of dollars on new supplies. Thank you in advance and once again thank you for the amazing videos.

Hi, I would suggest watching more of my videos as I cover all sorts of repairs and topics. I don't know the figures you have so can't give specific colours. But the paint type I use in this video will most likely be good ones to use.
      Cheers

@@toypolloi I looked it up because I was curious. It doesn't seem like it's all that bad unless you drink it, so don't drink any.

I keep meaning to ask but what is the name of the track used during the cleaning segment (in the sink with soap and water) of this video? It's been a mainstay of the channel for years and I'd really like to know because it's not one of the 4 tracks credited in the description.

    • @toypolloi

It's the Toy Polloi theme, written specifically for the channel. Cheers
