Thanks Dave, be nice to see a video on restoration of the box. I've restored a vintage star wars cardback by printing out the torn part and gluing it on with glue stick. Purists may frown but it displays well in the cabinet now. I painted on the decoupage glue to make it glossy to match the card. Found the glue stick is great also for sticking bubbles back on.
SAM looks like he's going to e a cool mascot. And man do I love those old LJN AD&D figures. I know exactly how you feel with the Dragonne wings. When I got mine it only had one wing and it took me several years to find the other on eBay. I would always find the wing I had until at last I had him completed. My local toy shop, Evansville Toys and Games got in some AD&D stuff last year and I've been picking up pieces here and there from them. They are just a fun line. Anyway congrats on getting the wings and the extra Titan.
An idea for the zoids box, make a sleeve to fit over the original box, we used to do this for products when I was working as a graphic designer in the gaming hardware industry. Scan all sides and repair in photoshop then wrap the original box :)

Thanks Dave, glad you included the Zark box in the vid - such an unsightly tear but hopefully may be a useful restoration process for others to apply to their old toy boxes as tape & price sticker tears (along with crush damage etc ...) are just so prevalent on vintage toy boxes, alas. ~ Cheers, Damien.

@@ToyPolloiTwo , You're most welcome. There aren't many of good quality, but found a half decent scan of the cover art and sent the link to your insta. But tbh, there may well be better out there, so will leave it to your online sleuthing to find what you feel works best.

Health and safety, the number of near misses with the knife. Always turn the package so that you're cutting away from yourself, so if you slip the blade moves away and not towards you.

Ha, I have a one winged Dragoon I’ve been looking to complete. Such a great looking toy. I love that line. I don’t buy much modern stuff but I got the Neca Warduke. It’s pretty impressive. Great video!
Hopefully you will find the wing one day. As you heard this took me a very long time to find. Just keep on hunting.

Something quite reassuring hearing someone else say they’ve mistakingly bought something they already have (I do it all the time😂)
Some nice pick ups nevertheless though Dave, and I gotta admit I don’t think I’d pick any up now, but as a kid ZOIDS fascinated me, always wanted to T Rex and Gorilla!!! Awesome 👌

Ha, I need those same wings! But I do thankfully have an Umber Hulk with two tusks which is another figure in that line that is almost never complete.

Those wings are made out of Gold Plastic and the pegs will break off inside that dragon. Mine did.
These feel quite solid still, but I will be very careful with them.

Yeah, that does happen. I've bought things thinking it was a great deal only to find the same thing a few days later for way cheaper. So I buy it again 🤣

If you can't repair that cardboard box, it might be fun to just cover the torn part with a big strip of tape with a beloved toy-store's name and logo repeating across it.

The double up, I have done it too many times. I try to be careful not to but it keeps happening. I usually use my doubles to make a custom, oh well

I haven't. This is the first time I have found the wings.
Actually the hands you’ve bought from hobby crash where originally made for the gi joe kung fu grip.. and atomic man is based on Mike powers originally a gi joe atomic man.. the hands and gi Joe talker body was later adopted by geyperman and the 2de gen hands for the muscular body they fit geyperman,action Joe,action team..they also sell in brown for a Tom stone figure

No problem. I've not seen the film and I've not got the figures. I don't find modern toys that good, less toy, more display item. The new figures look nice, but don't do it for me.
