How can somebody dislike this? It´s identical to blues power from the great Albert! Great job.

The original blackface Vibrolux Reverbs (like the one pictured) were produced from 1964 - 1967 and were all tube. The solid state Vibrolux they rolled out in 1967 looked nothing like the original.

How many beats a minute is the high hat? I'm trying to learn to play lead over backing tracks. If i know the BPM I can set my metronome to it and practice that way at first. Do you have any backing tracks that show the 1-4-5 chord progression while the backing track is playing. Similar to your Allman Brothers "Cross to Bear" lesson? Thank you so much! I've become a super fan over the last few days. I'm definitely gonna buy some of your materials.

you could set a stop watch on it and time a few bars or look at your watch. A chap i play with a lot was amazed when i showed him just by looking at my watch how to count a piece in! It aint hard as your watch is in 60bpm, as computer music people say! just feel it man it aint rocking along at 180bpm with chord changes every 2 beats after all!

Dude, just try to feel when the time is right. It'll be more expressive and you'll become a better player overall. Online guitar demos don't get you anywhere and is why there are no modern guitar heroes. Keep practicing man!

Interesting amp on the picture. I believe this is a solid state Fender, one of the first solid state amps fender mass produced. Also, I think great Roy Buchanan used these things as his main amp. Correct me if i'm wrong.

      Roger Blackwood
You should've said 'thank you, now I know who is Roy Buchanan'. To your knowledge, Buchanan was one of the most influential guitar players in history. Jeff Beck, who is considered one of the fathers of guitar in music as we know it today, named Buchanan as one of the biggest inspirations for him.

Dont mind the haters :). Ur right Roy used a vibrolux, usually on a chair, backside turned to the audience (probably to get a more roomy reverb or whatever). In a documentary i heard ppl say he uses twin-reverbs.
I never played a vibrolux, gotta be a great amp.
But i cant imagine it beeing solid-state, Roy wouldnt touch that.
.....Tech-talk is boring, but not if its about old fender amps!....

Vibrolux most definitely a tube amp ! ! ! I used to own one of these (vintage-- not a reissue).
