Im stoned just jamming on this and I think it's the best jam track ive used it's so fun
I was stoned when I made it, Lol. So that makes sense. Glad you enjoyed my friend. Keep jammin!
I'm ready to get stoned. Cheers 🍻 🚬
@@SoulForty5Music Too long and boring. It contains no nuances of the original. Beats are stagnant. I suggest putting the weed down and redoing it.
This is the worst backing track I have ever heard.
Doing this ritual for 6 month every night awesome backing track
Fastest 12 mins on youtube when youre in the zone. It flies by...
This track holds such an amazing groove and it feels like even with how good it sounds it’s giving u space to just come up with stuff, it’s very nonrestrictive in a way I wasn’t expecting best 12 minutes of jamming I’ve ever had.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. That was the idea when making this channel.. i wanna share backing tracks with enough space and freedom for the guitarist to feel like the spotlight is on them.
Billy Cox is so steady on those Band Of Gypsy’s basslines... He provides the sweetest canvases for Jimi to just paint... and paint he does!!!!! ❤️❤️
This was awesome!
Didn't know how much I needed this.
Excellent! thanks for a great gift!
This is one of my favorite jam tracks. Nice touch on the intro!!
Awesome and raw backing track. Just what I needed on this rainy day
Best Band of Gypsys backing track there is. Awesome.
That was magical
Thanks for this fantastic backing track. Love it. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
This is bliss
I jammed to this with my Squier Strat Affinity and my Cry Baby mini wah, and my amp set up to a nice blues setting, and oh wow that was brilliant fun, sounded awesome. Love this backing track!
It is, I used my crybaby and some distortion and I loved every minute.
Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great track!
I spent the first time through just goofing on the bass line! Thanks!
this is FIREEEEE !
This is one of the best anyone has put out as far as making it useful for jamming and simply warming up to learning how to play along with a track. It's one of my absolute favorites! Awesome job, keep em coming! Thank you!
Thank you Billy. I appreciate the kind words. Yeah this was one of my very first tracks and it's taken off. Def my most viewed. I'm glad it's useful for everyone.. I'm about to release some more Stevie Ray Vaughan and ZZ Top tracks.. Blues and Classic Rock all day!!
@@SoulForty5Music ALL DAY EVERY DAY!! thank you again for the track, it is a pleasure to play along with you. Love all the Stevie Ray and Zz top as well. Some Black Sabbath would be killer! Something funky
@@billycondra4295 I am actually getting started on "Hand of Doom" by Sabbath.. Love the drums in it
@@SoulForty5Music that is going to be the hot new groove to add to my play list. I play in my back yard most Fridays and Saturdays nights. I live next door to a roach motel, and they get a free concert once and a while. But they are some sorry individuals to steal my brand new mower and still take advantage of my practice session. They even applaud and whistles. I won't be, that part makes me feel like a rock star bro! Lol
This has got so much swampy gut bucket soul. Great job.
I wanted to go to sleep and then I felt here! Beautiful one!
Thank you my friend
These jimi tracks are the best man thanks. 🔥🤘🏾🎸✌🏾
BadAss man!!
Billy, Buddy and Jimi would approve!
I love Hendrix backing tracks
Me too. He left us a ton of amazing music
@@SoulForty5Music
Where is the left hand drum roll along with “she didn’t know,
she didn’t care,
what my baby,
been putting down,
talkin about
talking about,
what my baby,...”
half a drum roll is hard
( as a guitarist talking) 😊
bro that's a good one!!
Ohhhhhhh yesss!!
Great warm up. I obviously don't care what anybody says. If you don't know, you don't know. Jimi is jimi. He could bang on a tin can, half full of fish guts. His ideas were golden hes the backbone and a founding young father of melt-your-face courtesy, duly impressed in a timely manner upon a world loaded to the brim with LSD and floral inked everything. We will jam one day. Ill be back tomorrow.
still love it!!
Lmao!!!! I was stoned playing to it as well, it’s the best backing track on RUclips yet that I have played to, I just keep rewinding and jamming, I feel as though my flow is great on this track, give us more.
Yo Yo Yo Yoooooooooooo Yooooo yo can’t stop playing this
Yeah my man
Powerfull soul reminder
Maybe not english i said... greetinngs from corsica ❤
@@furibar2367 Greeting from USA.. cheers my friend
Thanks for what you do 😉 it motivate good
i just jammed to this so cool! XD
I'd call it C# minor (no F flats) rather than Db minor but what the hey.
Carried a cassette recording of the Gypsys' "Who Knows" to my track teams' away meets.
Used to drive the coach nuts humming along to the non-verbal parts.
Best thing was I got an advance review copy from the record company because i published an "underground" newspaper.
I was looking for someone else to point the C#m thing out too. Thanks. And it is a great track to jam too. One chord is all you need sometimes.
Yeah bro this track is gangster
I'm in love is all I can say
Damn that's a fun one brings out my creativity
Check out others. This was fun but there are some out there for screaming out and blistering your fingertips!!
@gib59er56 would love a Playlist of similar backing tracks. I love how simple and groovy the baseline is
@@wesleysheppard3631 yeah same with me it's more easy to follow
@@wesleysheppard3631 I hear ya man. If you type in "backing tracks" you will find a boatload of tracks in every key and tuned in 1/2 step down and 440 "regular tuning". Check em out Wes!!
Just found this. I’m a huge Hendrix fan but I’ve never heard his cover of this. Immediately added it to the playlist! Thanks brotha
that was fun
Great job, the drums kit sounds a little bit crispy to me, but the pan l/r effect at the start is amazing, eddie krammer is around???
This is sweet man! Keep doing your thing!
Thank you my friend! More coming soon.
Great track all kinds of space for a cool jam.
That fucking bass is sweet as
It's a backing track how interesting is it supposed to be.great job and getcha pull
I'm a bass player so I don't change my strings (even on my guitar 😡🤣🤘) so yeah these strings have hundreds of hours on them and now my high E can't be re-used so I guess it's re-string the whole thing. And also says something about the quality of the jam, good shit 🤘 I'm also stoned 🤜🤛🤘😝
awesome track.I just stay in standard tuning and play in C#minor.

This Db minor blues scale. Main riff has blue note
What bass are you playing?
Great track.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎸
Thanks for the compliment my friend.. This track was created mostly with midi in a digital audio workstation called SoundTrap. The bass switches back and forth between 4 bars of "Bone Bass" and 4 bars of "Paul's 60's" bass. Two of the digital options available within Soundtrap. The only real instrument in the backing track is me playing my guitar in the first 50 sec.
@@SoulForty5Music
Great sound replication, the drums too.
I played for years but put it down for awhile. Using backing tracks to get back up to speed. Thanks, please make more!
All the best from NJ.
@@machia0705 Glad you picked it back up.. Best of luck to you. More backing tracks in the works!!
You are the massia
Does that dude have a union card? Around where..
something is missing but the loop sounds interesting

I prefer Lucifer
Sounds dubby very cool. JH. In dub 🙃😅. Or could b hip hop 🤘🏴☠️ Yo
Hi! Killer backing track! Would you mind if I used it in a video of mine please? I will give you credit. 🤘🎸
Please jam away my friend. Would love to hear it
@@SoulForty5Music thanks man! I’ll let you know when it’s out! 🤘🎸
Anyone knows the actual chord progression here?
bro.
c# minor
Can I purchase this one? I can't get enough!!! I just purchased your Slow Blues in B minor.
Thank you my friend. I haven't logged into Bandcamp in awhile. Let me get this one uploaded tonight. Appreciate the support.
@@SoulForty5Music got the JB track too.
@@bobernst9000 Thank you my friend... I have uploaded to Bandcamp. Again I very much appreciate your support
POV: Ripping a solo and an add comes on, I mean come on like why tf is there ads on a backing track
Awesome cover though
Its so annoying i know. If you can try to find a good ad blocker.
That is only the first half of the riff; why does everyone ignore the second half?
IS IT NECESSARY TO LOWER THE GUITAR HALF TONE?
Yes
@@SoulForty5Music THANK YOU, WITH REASON THINGS DID NOT SOUND GOOD TO ME Xd, the tracks are good
@@scqncn247 I do have another version in the key of D ruclips.net/video/C9dPrOczRMk/видео.html&ab_channel=SoulForty5Music
No lol just change where you play on the fretboard
It’s one chord right?
You have many missing notes on your scale graph
the harmonic spelling for the each of the 12 keys are incorrect. 1sr fret should be F......12 th fret should be E .......15th should be G and so on....
Normally yes, but this is assuming E Flat tuning on the guitar
wrong key its in c# minor
Ohhh nooo, what have I done!!! :-)
i was about to say hehe. even the fretboard says C# :))) Fb major is a tough key
Nice but your count is wrong. Your 1 count is actually the 5. Listen to the recording
I've heard others say this before too. I'll have to check it out and maybe rework the track someday. Thanks for listening
@@SoulForty5Music He's right - it's
Bah-ba-dada - doop-doop- bedoopy-do-do
LOL ..... if you see what I mean.
forty-plus years ago I heard it wrong too just like you did. Someone put me right back then when I first started playing. It's the way it fades in that makes it confusing and once you hear it wrong it does seem to make sense that way and it's hard to hear it differently.
About 5 mins into the recording (original Band Of Gypsies live) when Buddy Miles is scat-singing, he sings the correct riff. After he sings "and she goes walking down the street singing...." and he sings a couple of lines low and sloppily. But the first line he sings falsetto is It, the proper riff.
The groove is totally wrong, what the hell did you do...
I wanted to see how long before someone noticed.. Congrats, you're the winner.
BORING
so fun to jam over i got lost in the sauce
