You make all the other backing tracks feel like a 15 seconds loop. You are really good at this I love it. I love how you give tips and ideas too. I kinda miss when you played and showed us a 30s clip, that really inspired me sometimes. I asked you a few months ago I think but I will try again; any chance for some long+quality Cream tracks? Something like Spoonful and NSU from the Grande Ballroom show and then the long Sunshine from (Dallas I think?). That would be so cool. For some reason almost no quality Cream tracks are found on youtube which amaze me... Keep up the good work man!

This is the best jam track ever! I could play just real simple pentatonic scales but really mixed so they don't sound like scales. I found this about 6:30 and I am still playing it. I am getting new ideas every time I play it. Thank you so much. This motivates me to try and improve my improvisational skills! Love it.
E mixolydian works too. The G# as the major third sounds sick. It works with this track because you are playing an E major. Dorian will only work if the 3rd is not played, but I hear it in the bass.
Holy shit this gave me so much confidence jamming with this track, maybe I’m just high but I feel like I’ve never played this well but the track put me in a trance like groove. Wavy
Got to agree with all the comments here in saying this is killer! I listen to a lot of Jimi, and jam to him, this was fresh in the right ways for me, and with the visual aid, I think i actually just started learning new lines around the board (I'm self taught 7 years now) for my Hendrix styled playing, and it was definitely interesting and worth revisiting progress.
A little trick for people who are starting to learn their scales like me is to find the corresponding ioninan(major) key to whatever mode is being played, since you probably know the major scale by heart at least: for example, this is in E dorian, and looking around a little bit whe can find out that E dorian corresponds to D major. Find E on the 6th string and just play the D major scale from there, using E as the tonic instead of D.
I've been going through the backing tracks playlist, I want to play with them all. Thanks for this awesome material. There's a question in my head; does someone else play the exact or almost the same notes, chords??? How can I listen to others take on this or any other jam?
