There are great support posts in CVA and USO.
USO: USO Structures>fences>wooden fence>the post (it's way taller than it looks, half of it is sunk into the ground. Pillar glitch for full height.)
CVA: Vanilla structures>fences>wire fence (double height fence post)
USO version is thicker and looks more sturdy, CVA version is slimmer and blends in a bit better due to its texture. Both are far superior to the damn warehouse support piece.
Neither are as tall as the ball track supports. However, they don't have snap points, so you can use the pillar glitch (or in some situations use the invisible rug + rug glitch) to make them as tall as you need them to be.) Seamless and glorious.
Your castle is totally turning into one of my all time favorite settlements. Over a year into this, and you still give me great ideas. :)
I'm going to now have to go hunting for those - in the abyss which is the modded menus. Also legit imagined you screaming this into the void - with people around you getting increasingly confused on wft you were on about. It made me giggle.
norespawns do have access to vanilla extensions that's apart of the master plan set of mods if u do there are some very nice support pieces that I personally use all the time
Im always impressed by the way you manage to rend things looking Vanilla but way more cluttered and stylish, good job nice one
Very sharp. Lots of folks miss out on making multilevel docks, and something like this should spur some creativity when it comes to seaside builds.

dude the bridge in safari zone didn't know that existed thank you that's going to make a sweet addition to my castle which is kind of inspired by your castle / your hive idea that didn't really materialize
the borders extended mod I used made starlight completely unbuildable. I know several others who have had the same problem. so yeah, probably best to steer clear of those, unless you don't mind it.

Davey, just wanted to point out that the boat is technically stuck because the water is shallow where you placed it.
sadly I couldn't find anywhere deeper that was in the build area near that location. It doesn't really matter tbh.
Davy maybe just do a couple of greenhouses for the food for the castle
Matt PS. I like the idea of linking the settlements though. I feel like Spectacle Island is so huge, I wouldn't know what to do with all of it. The Minutemen taking over that island and repurposing it seems likely for RP purpose.
yeah it's a good idea, still even a small greenhouse would help in case the castle is under siege from raiders or things.
One small garden could look good, but it's not gonna generate enough food to survive during an attack :p

Nice build! I feel like it's simple but it makes a big impact. I like the small boat house and the pier. If you had more build space, you could almost make a small settlement there outside the castle walls.

I need to go unlock Spectacle Island on my current character... this gives me ideas for both locations.
Davey I like this build a lot! Very creative, a build outside the castle utilizing the water. One small thing I noticed. If thew boat was a working boat, I assume you intend it so for Spectical island, they might have a wooden step inside the boat but not likely concrete blocks. Damm things would slide all over the boat breaking ankles. :-)
Would be so badass if you made it a battleship (I only watched the ending tour so idk if you said something about making it a gunship) but great build, would love to see this in my game but i don't have time or skills for it. Loving it

I really wish there was a mod to include the entire lake/ little walkway around it, we could make drawbridges and really go crazy with the lake. Make Castle super epic.

You could do a small area below the crane, maybe with another crane that would actually take the crates off the boat

the build borders on the castle isn't affected by that mod as well.. still love using it tho!!

I didn't encounter any problem in the Castle while using STS (Scrap that Settlement), but that's with the XB1,

I would put a pallet and some crates just under the crane on the outside. that way you bind the two places togheter mote

it does corrupt your save but only the one quick save
I'm not sure if they have it for PS4 (or if it would be a good idea performance-wise) but you should consider getting a mod that increases the settlement budget

I would love to see a seaport on Spectacle Island
the settlement expansion's don't do alot to the game features just make sure to look at the mod loader

I haven't played fallout in at least 2 months because i've been busy with other games, and now i came back to check if a few mods had new updates and whatnot... and suddenly the uso base component is deleted and whenever i try to look at the uso add-ons, i get kicked off the mods screen because i am apparently "attempting to access a blacklisted mod" ???!? Anybody knows what's going on there??
what scrap mod did you use to remove that rock? I'm trying to find a good one that's not too finicky to work with.

you should check out the mod sim settlements its sweet but not sure if its for the ps4 yet
With the current limitations, Sims Settlements is impossible on PS4.

Sadly not possible on the PS4 due to mod-limitations. He has given his blessing I believe if someone wants to recreate it on PC for a settlement blueprint (With adequate praise to the original creator of course)
what about ×box
Since he plays on PS4 it would still require someone else to do it. Not sure if the settlement buieprints mod (I forget what it's called) is available on Xbox though
