When you were placing the floor in the beginning of the video, you could've used the curved wall and placed it where you would've placed one of the pillars, then snap a curved floor piece to that wall. You would've then been able to snap any kind of floor you wanted and removed the curved wall afterward.
you probably get this a lot, but i wish i was as inspired as you are in settlement building. all my buildings end up like little shacks while youre doing crazy things that dont pop up in my head. great video as always.

To get the floor in without having to glitch it, you could have just have used a combination of the curved concrete wall and the curved floor piece from that tab, since it's the only floor piece that will snap to the top of the walls. From there you can snap any floor piece on so that it's at the same height as the top of the wall. I've used this tactic to place the small wooden floors when making concrete walls around a settlement so that I can walk around the top of the wall.
i cant remember where i saw it (sorry to that person) but the mesh concrete walls will snap inside the concrete windows (quite fiddly), it makes such a difference for a bunker type build. As always texture added where there wasnt any, great build
I should really look into using something other than the lobster things (I think that's what they are) on the walls to add texture. Every time I see you use the reversed junk fences I'm like "Oh that's such a good idea, that looks great" but then proceed to never do it. Sometimes I use Nuka Cola Machines. Also, seeing as you like funny stories, you could have placed a curved concrete wall next to where you wanted the floor, sunk down and snapped to the foundation you had for the floor (minus the 1x1 pillar) and snapped a curved floor to the top of that, then snapped a floor on to that. Remove the curved pillar and stick the rest of the foundation down, then your floor would be aligned perfectly. Although yeah, you're pretty snazzy at getting it in by eye.

I like to break up the monotony of the concrete by using the lettering kits to write messages to Lewis Brindley. Not that he reads them, I just sometimes need to get the thoughts off my chest. It's therapeutic, you should try it.

If I was the developer or the designer of this game, I would cut many settlement workshop contents and only have two settlement with workshops, the rest of the other settlements are just side quest giver for the player. There should have been a craftable ammo station in the game instead of a mod?
You can tell settlements weren't included until later in the development process due to how tacked on the whole feature was, but I definitely believe this should've been a thing had it been properly planned. Would've loved my own BOS camp or a RR base.

you can snap it on the proper level, all you have to do it use the curved concrete wall & the curved steel floor to have it level with the concrete.

If you place a curved concrete wall down, then attach a quarter round to it. You can then place a mettle mesh floor piece down.
