    Love this! I am currently building Umbris and you definitely gave me a bunch of new ideas for my deck. Thank you!

    Your Deck building and channel is so underrated. I had my version of the deck almost built but have to consider some of your suggestions which are only a few but still some that I def consider now. I also built mine as a Living Death build which just RKO's opponents out of nowhere because Umbris see's all the nightmare and horrors enter the battlefield and my opponents graveyard is constantly going to be empty.

      Thanks, much appreciated! Glad you found it useful!
      That's definitely an amazing synergy with the deck since you'll be the only one reanimating your creatures, which are also going to be triggering Umbris. Nice!

    Mist of Stagnation would fit perfectly into this deck!

    I do love this tribal-mill-exile theme. It's the perfect deck for salty playgroups. You can consider for more exile effects: Rogue Class, Raven Guild Master, Nightveil Specter, Thief of Sanity and Oona. By the way, some Horrors like Consuming Aberration, Grazilaxx and Phyrexian Obliterator could fit pretty well.

      Thanks! Glad you like it!
      Unfortunately, Consuming Aberration's power/toughness depends on cards in opponents' graveyards. So if you're exiling instead of leaving them in graveyards, it'll always be a 0/0 and thus you'll never be able to use it because it'll always die as a state-based action.

      @@TheCommanderTavern Oh! I didn't realize that little detail about Consuming Aberreation. Thanks!

    any way you can make a update on this deck??

      @TheCommanderTavern  2 года назад +1

      There're definitely a handful of new cards from recent sets that I'd be interested for it (especially the Streets of New Capenna sorcery that mills half a library). No promises, but I can try and eventually get around to it. If I do, I'll have to remember and respond to you that I did.

    Why are umbris decks so damn expensive

      Is their any good budget umbris deck lists for people getting back into magic the gathering

      I know, right?

    • @TheCommanderTavern
      @TheCommanderTavern  2 года назад

      @@mikenickerson3433 Umbris itself is pretty pricey right now ($20, I believe?) but mill isn't that expensive an archetype. You can definitely build it on a budget, considering cards like Leyline of the Void are WAY cheaper than what they were like years ago thanks to its reprint in a core set.
