Wow! That was a run! Great video and good on you for taking on Tuckerman in November. I’ve ridden my bike up the auto road a few times (rode down once, definitely a white knuckle affair), but never had the skills to ski the bowl. Stay safe and have a great winter.
That was awesome!!! I feel bad for your skis though 😂 I am way too old and scared to do that now. I skied there 50+ years ago when I was a kid and still had to ski from halfway up Hillman’s because that was the limit of my abilities. First, we hit the Bowl. Halfway up someone went cartwheeling by and continued to do so for a long time. Ok time to head to hillman’s. Also I did see someone die that day skiing onto rock pile. But still one of the most memorable good and bad days of my life. Thanks for sharing and bringing me back. You guys are awesome!!
Oh yeah, I think that was me. 🤣 On the left side where these guys were. The year is about right, I was definitely doing cartwheels and then landed on my back and slid down the face for like 300 feet. All I could think of was all the hiking going to waste.
Nice! Good thing is zero avalanche risk. And looks like you could nearly climb the approach without skins based on the coverage. Grass and rock make for good traction eh? Still a good outing by the looks of it. Oh, nice choice of music. A bit old school.
Looked a bit sparse initially, but great vid. I went up there in late April on a grey rainy day just like that, we were the ONLY people on the mountain, it was incredible.
I spent two seasons grooming at Jay peak in Vermont. I’ve spent most of my life in the Tahoe region of California. The conditions you East coasters call good are what us West coasters call summer. 😂
Great video! Loved it! Were your shoulders square to the mountain as you counter ski down? it looks like they were turning with your skis. I’m really just joking around lol great work! Especially climbing up!
Instead of hearing skis carving we have to agonize through elo’s evil woman, which is a great classic , but we came here to watch some cool footage with completely ruined by music so loud in the ,is we can’t hear the carving
@@diver3444 btw, before you open your mouth and say anything else you should know that i came up skiing pins in the NE, moved out west and continued to tele ski for another decade before finally seeing the light and trading the skis for a board, like a real man
New England skiing is its own thing. Two thumbs up gents.
@@johncarr2333 thanks man!
You find out just how good - or bad - a skier your are in New England, and especially at Tucks.
That was absolutely awesome! Thanks for taking us on this journey. Have a safe ski season. Amazing gents!,
Great video guys. You capture the true spirit of mountaineering!

Brings back some good memories from my younger days. My bones are too old for it now, but glad you boys had fun!!
Tucks in November. You guys are mad.
I have hiked that trail up to the rangers cabin. Straight up. Not a single switchback. Kudos to you for making that slog. The trip down looks great.

feel same for the skiis too. still very cool for nov!

Looks like it’s shaping up to be decent up there this year 😊
SO gnarly looking with no snow
Conditions look decent . Skis can take it . Great trip
Different beast in November! Well done guys!
I found it fascinating to watch the change from being above the tree line and it's gradual change down.
By the way great choice of music One of my all-time favorite songs
@@jacksultan8146 ayy thank you- glad you enjoyed it!!
Brings back great memories 😊
Looked like other ski tracks out there so you’re not the only sick person out there. That’s a plus.
@@Abubobbledo oh yeah! There was a crew the day before that skied some shorter lines down the lower middle headwall. Looked like great turns there too
Stay safe out there guy🤘🏼
Hillman’s Highway, without a doubt one of my favourite tracks..
Did that 30 years ago in late spring and I’m still tired from the hike up, ski and hike down…
Nice!

Awesome vid!
well done.👍👍
This goes hard AF
Not bad for November!
✌❤❄
A lot of hiking for 30 seconds down. Great fun though. I've never seen it early covered with something that could be called snow.
Can’t imagine what the bottom of your skis looked like when you dismounted at the bottom of the trail.
#authentic and #oldschool way to get it!
I plan to do this in a few years when I finally buy skis bc I'm constantly growing out of them

Very nice 👍🙂❄️
very cool!
what a tune
Sick!
At least your avalanche odds are low haha
Epic adventure
Great time.
Nothing better than chalk!
great music choice
SICK !!!!
Sick stuff dude

Yeah buddy!!
Crazy music and there’s no snow pack and it’s raining. So you did hilman’s crazy
Well done! 🎉😂
Phenomenal
@@JeffH7 thank you!
I don't envy the time you'll be spending filling the gouges on the bottoms of your skis, but then true fun is never without cost.
Ski local iz the koolest
Diehards.....I love it. Way to go!
So sick
Nice move at 03:36 !
Nice job guys!! Not sure what was more gnarly, the gully or the Sherbie with snow that limited?
@@PaulBarrett-k3c hahaha it’s a pretty close tie
my dream right here...hey atleast attitash is back open! How long is the hike to the bowl?
We're you the ones who just missed getting caught in the avalanche last week?
New Englanders call this stuff "Fresh Powder"
I’m assuming / hoping that those are your rock skis? Nice job.
I don’t believe in rock skies. Especially In Tucks. Skies are replaceable your body parts not so much. Yes I learned this the hard way.
Was this place in any ski movies from the 80s/90s? I'm not American but i feel i know this place somehow.
How far to the bottom did you ski?
Most people ski Tuckerman's Ravine in the spring, not in November.
Great video! Loved it! Were your shoulders square to the mountain as you counter ski down? it looks like they were turning with your skis. I’m really just joking around lol great work! Especially climbing up!
🤣 Well, I guess you don't have to worry about avalanches. I've only skied it in the spring, but that was before your parents were born.
No one at HoJo’s?
Very cool !
Least coast skiing looks so great! Not...I'll pass and stick to CO.
🤣Yeah, but when you grow up in NH, everything else is fantastic, so while other people are whining, you're like, this is great!
If you can ski New England conditions, you can ski anywhere.
I’m from NH but I spent 14 winters in ski country in Colorado and the avg western skier would be terrorized skiing eastern boiler plate😱
interesting song choice
Looks pretty boney
The exit is why skis are superior to the single plankton foos.. sweet
Best you learn both and enjoy there own unique qualities. 😉
Say good bye to that wax
Planning on going out there tomorrow, only thing is I just got a wax…
You won't need wax because you won't have any p-tex to put it on.
Ah, nope. (great video though)

Everything's beautiful except the music.
Sheer desperation and with sufficient narcissism for recording it all.
