Wow that's insane. Great vid and never apologize for your kids, they are more important than the game. Take it from a man that had full custody of 3 kids 👍
you didnt specify types of dmg and the use of different elements in the calculations. this excludes their place in the dmg multiplier cause i believe that the amulets like effuvian enchancer double stack dmg of the triggered effect? for instance the dmg increase for acid is 20% and then corrosive dmg itself is getting a 50% increase but also seemingly gets the same buff from acid as it is somehow considered acid dmg. i may be wrong on this but either way it another variable in calculations that the calculator currently is unnacounting for
Good eye pointing this out! So I tested this real quick, and elemental/status damage boosts are calculated along with the base damage boosts. I figured that from the start, but I forgot to actually test it to be sure. Interestingly enough though, statuses themselves DO receive both effects from the amulet, which means your corrosion status receives both the 20% from being the element, and the 50% from being the status. That said, this 70% boost is still additive with all other base damage boosts that can affect it, and it's not like status effects can crit or hit weakspots so you probably won't see high DPS builds focusing on status damage
Ok so first of all you can also swap the amulet to indignant fetish if you have it, turns out that's just objectively better for the build than twisted idol. And if you're not relying on melee, pretty much anything that increases your effective HP will work here. Vash Cowaii actually made a pretty extensive build calculator for tanking that you can test with so you don't have to do the math yourself. That said if I were to run a guess, I'd say if you're already hitting like 78-80% total DR with everything you're using active, go ahead and use Seal of the Empress. If you're below that amount of DR, you probably want Hardcore metal band.
As to using the alchemist for the consumables you can take them then use liquid death, respawn and change class, and you will keep the buffs. I changed to Challenger as primary and Invader as secondary, invader’s Shark perk adds 35% to melee dmg and the Reboot skill is nice if you’re about to die, i know is a bug and will be patched but let’s have fun while it last
I like the idea and it definitely works, but even though this increases your damage by like 3.5%, I think you lose out on some DPS without frenzy dust.
@@AlphaSeagulli guess i am losing a bit of dps in exchange for survivability. also adding the vampire mutator to nebula while using the whetstone amulet so applying bleed isn’t a hassle.
@@Planterobeetsif claws don't all count as unarmed, it's hard to say that a specific kind of claw will start counting for no reason, so my guess is no. That said, there's nothing stopping you from testing it out, and even if it doesn't work, there's nothing stopping you from using different rings and using the weapon anyway. It's not THAT strict of a build, you can use basically any weapon except flails (they don't receive attack speed buffs on the helicopter) I just think knuckle dusters are one of the best ways to use it.
@@AlphaSeagull i was assuming the Knuckle Dusters counting as unarmed was a bug, so the possibility of another similar weapon counting as unarmed cross my mind, i wrote that at work so i couldn’t test them until 2 hours ago and yea 18% base crit chance I’ll definitely do some experimenting
@@PlanterobeetsI'm all for doing more testing so yes pelase do, but I'm pretty sure Knuckle Dusters aren't bugged because it says in the description that it's intended to boost unarmed damage. It's also got a slightly different moveset than all the claws so there's reason to believe this weapon in particular is just special.
Nothing screams optimal dps like gang violence haha hilarious great vid!

Bore hitbox bug works with Bloodline too
Nah fam them Losomn foos bout to catch these hands
For this build I have Ring of the Robust, Burden of the Divine and Gamemaster Pride. What. Is a good substitute for Dreakstone Pearl?

Claws count as unarmed also . 👀
They do not. Just tested both Rusted Claws and Vice Grips. Damage was identical with and without the 2 unarmed rings
