FAQ: "I'm not doing as much damage" Unfortunately there's lots of delicate factors to this build you can get wrong if you don't know what to do. If you're not dealing as much as I am in these clips, it could be one or more of the following factors: -You're not deflecting. You need to block right when the attack hits you (similar to Sekiro if you've played it) in order for it to count as a deflect. You'll know it counted thanks to a small visual/audio indication and you'll take less stamina/HP damage than usual. -Royal Knight's Resolve ran out. The buff needs to be reapplied every attack and only lasts like 10 seconds, so take too long and you'll be missing an +80% boost. Same goes with all your buffs, they're not gonna last forever, and the deflect buff can run out too if you take too long between deflects -The attack didn't count as a counterhit. The enemy moveset is a big factor for whether or not you can perform a counterhit, and sometimes it won't be possible even with a fast guard counter weapon. -I have 20 Scadutree blessings in the video, so keep in mind that a 0 blessing character would do about half this damage to the DLC bosses, which is why I included non-dlc clips as well. Keep in mind 26k is not a value you can get all the time, but if using it right, you can get a lot of damage all the time and upwards of 26k if you're lucky. I strongly suggest checking out my Backhand Blade video I uploaded after this one, since a bug fix made those even stronger for Guard Counters and you don't need to rely on coutnerhits anymore.

@@kubomagico8853 Fine with me. More time to enjoy the fight! I might be a minority but I don't think I disliked any of the remembrance bosses in the DLC .
You don't necessarily need to deflect 4 attacks to get to the highest boost. A lot of boss attacks are strong enough to boost you up multiple tiers at a time! I'm not sure what the exact logic behind it is, but it's a nice feature. It probably bases it off the system that determines blocking knockback strength.
Deff thought this was clickbait. I was wrong. Great vid man. Also to anyone reading this, if you don't wanna dump TONS of points into stamina to make it more like Sekiro (cuz that's the one drawback of deflecting which Sekiro obviously doesn't have, a stamina bar) than you should deff equip the two headed turtle talisman. @@wolfgaunt didn't lnow that. I was thinking of a general DLC hardtear build, so I focused on 100% physical resistance, weight and guard boost more than 100% elemental resistance. Also, does the holy affinity lower physical resistance?
@@sharif47 It does lower it, but only by 5%, same with the other elemental affinities. It's pretty perfect against Radahn. You can fully block through light of miquella, and any other holy attacks he does and still block 95% of all his physical damage. I believe the only other shield that can get 100% resistance to an element is the fingerprint stone shield with either of the fire affinities for 100% fire resistance.
According to the sheet it matches Troll's Hammer, Anvil Hammer, Devonia's Hammer, and Gazing Finger. Spear talisman isn't adding to guard counters. It only affects attacks that land while they are in an attack animation. Maybe if they recover super quickly from your guard counter and swing again, it might kick in but it's not guaranteed by any means.
I used bloodfiends bloody arm on 60 arcane with cragblade on most dlc bosses.
