This is wonderful, and really made me sympathize with Leopardstar. I used to think she was incredibly stupid for joining Tigerstar, and deserved to be thrown out of the Clans, but this brings me to a new train of thought. I guess she kind of got her punishment by seeing the blood she (in part) shed by doing nothing, and letting Tigerstar rule. This really shows how hard it was for her to realize her mistake. I LOVE ALL YOUR WORK AND FANGIRL OVER IT WITH EVERY NEW VIDEO! :D

Everything in this was fantastic. The colour palettes, the drawing, everything. I was particularly impressed with the yellow for blood - it felt like it represented more than just blood. Disease, maybe?
I believe it's referencing how in Greek mythology the blood of Gods is depicted as gold-colored, which would make sense considering the song used here~

I love how the song fits with the blood, it’s gold! I just noticed that! And I remember that Leopardstar I’m pretty sure she liked Tigerstar but didn’t like how he was evil and such until she found out. I’m not sure if that made any since but she liked him at one point so it makes since that Leopardstar and Tigerstar would be in the same PMV. They also made a huge impact on the Darkest Hour so I can see why two cats would be in this.
Sorry if I’m confusing I just wanted to say somthing. But this PMV is phenomenal and I love it!
You guys are such an inspiration, not just to me, but many of the people who watch your videos. Everything you upload is drawn so beautifully, it makes me want to work harder. Even the songs you choose for your PMVs tell the stories along with the art excellently. Hehe, this may be a bit formal, but I guess that's just who I am 😋
From a designer's perspective, this is just beautiful! The placement of the text and emphasis on certain beats of the song make it a really powerful piece, not to mention the COLORS! :o I reaaaaaally love what you guys did with this, amazing job!

okay i know I'm a bazillion years late but listen. i never fail to be astonished by how amazing WC AMVs are (most of the time) and legit this is my favorite of all time. The detail of Tigerstar bleeding gold (as a previous comment said, Hellenic gods had gold blood), the expressions on all the cats faces, the way you can see Leopard struggle with what Tiger is proposing, the absolute cold resolute look on her face as she walks away from his death... I love this AMV so much 😭
also the art is unbelievably gorgeous so major props to that too

I watched all these pmvs when I was on book 3 of sires 1 forest of secrets and I was like what....... now i finished the whole series all the Mangas and super additions and short story's and the main Series (+field guides) and I'm rewatching all of them and I'm like ohhhhhhh that's what they ment
i remember when this video came out and i would pause every frame and try to redraw it. your guys work was incredibly impactful on pre-teen me
I've watched this a ton of times and I only just noticed the video starts in blue with flashes of red, turns into red with flashes of blue, and then at the end when Leopardstar tears down the bonehill (is that what it's called?) it goes back to blue
I might be the only one who hasn't noticed this though, a few weeks ago I watched a two second video where someone says 'chocolate sauce' about a bottle that is very clearly strawberry sauce, and I didn't even notice until I looked at the comments

I love this song, it really reflects my OCs Colblot and Destra because they're both the reincarnations of gods and even though Colbolt wouldn't say the 'oh, baby girl,' things Destra thinks he means stuff like that when they first meet because she had a giant crush on him, I love it ^^

I know the gold blood is just to contrast with the colours, but I love how you can also take it as golden ichor, the blood of the gods in Greek mythology.
I feel like Leopardstar gets far more hate than she deserves. When it comes to leaders, Leopardstar is in my top 10. I know she allowed a really crappy thing to happen. She let the one she believed she loved order the execution of her loyal deputy, Stonefur. And didn't stop the destruction of her Clan when Tigerstar took over. But I really am quite fond of her character and she did go through loss. Leopardstar's mother and three siblings died during birth, her father became a medicine cat and named her after one of the Mystical Ancient Clans. She had a really interesting story, and was a pretty freaking great leader. Glad this M.A.P represents a good part of Leopardstar's character

Leopardstar made some stupid decisions, but the fact that she pulled herself, and her clan back up, says a lot in my opinion.
I just realized this, in Greek Mythology, Greek gods have gold blood called ichor. Is that why Tigerstar was bleeding gold? Cuz he's a "young god"?

first off, an artist can't just make a tutorial on how to draw like them it's literally impossible because noodlers have the drawing skills, that they got from years of practice! you can't just ask for a tutorial because drawing is way more complicated than that
sure an artist can make a tutorial of how they structure the cat's body or paint fur, but it's just a help and doesn't make you draw at the same skill level as the artist
I get asked SO MANY TIMES if I can teach people how to draw like me and tbh, it's kind of rude because it comes off like you think that the artistic skill of a person is something they can just teach others like it's nothing, but it takes years to get to a point were people ask that question. It's like, people think we were master artists from birth, but no! we just drew pictures more often and kept on drawing way longer than other children from our old classes that ended up dancing or riding instead.
Dancing and riding are skills that don't come overnight! sure there are natural talents that learn quicker, but literally, anybody can learn how to dance or ride. It just feels like a lot longer when you don't do it from childhood on! Heck, I know an 18-year-old who is just now starting to get better with art because she started drawing a lot more now, but she's a thousand times better at writing than I am because she does it longer and more often than I do
Skills aren't something you can just give a tutorial on and *poof* that other person has that same skill, it takes time even learning from a professional

The reason they made it yellow is because the grass was red.
I believe they chose gold because Ichor (Blood of Gods) is supposedly gold and fit the theme of the song. If not, it's an awesome coincidence.

I haven't commented yet but I just really adore all your videos Noodlers, I honestly was never too interested in the Warriors series but the way you convey your videos has really interested me and I've been doing a lot of reading on the series these past few weeks. I'm actually going to pick up the first boxset today to read. :'D
