I used to think she was incredibly stupid for joining Tigerstar, and deserved to be thrown out of the Clans, but this brings me to a new train of thought. I guess she kind of got her punishment by seeing the blood she (in part) shed by doing nothing, and letting Tigerstar rule. This really shows how hard it was for her to realize her mistake. Everything in this was fantastic. The colour palettes, the drawing, everything. I was particularly impressed with the yellow for blood - it felt like it represented more than just blood. Disease, maybe?
I believe it's referencing how in Greek mythology the blood of Gods is depicted as gold-colored, which would make sense considering the song used here~

And I remember that Leopardstar I’m pretty sure she liked Tigerstar but didn’t like how he was evil and such until she found out. I’m not sure if that made any since but she liked him at one point so it makes since that Leopardstar and Tigerstar would be in the same PMV. I feel like Leopardstar gets far more hate than she deserves. When it comes to leaders, Leopardstar is in my top 10. I know she allowed a really crappy thing to happen. She let the one she believed she loved order the execution of her loyal deputy, Stonefur. And didn't stop the destruction of her Clan when Tigerstar took over. But I really am quite fond of her character and she did go through loss. Leopardstar's mother and three siblings died during birth, her father became a medicine cat and named her after one of the Mystical Ancient Clans. She had a really interesting story, and was a pretty freaking great leader. Glad this M.A.P represents a good part of Leopardstar's character

whoop I know your comment is from a year ago buuuuuut it's bothering the heck out of me :,D first off, an artist can't just make a tutorial on how to draw like them it's literally impossible because noodlers have the drawing skills, that they got from years of practice! you can't just ask for a tutorial because drawing is way more complicated than that sure an artist can make a tutorial of how they structure the cat's body or paint fur, but it's just a help and doesn't make you draw at the same skill level as the artist I get asked SO MANY TIMES if I can teach people how to draw like me and tbh, it's kind of rude because it comes off like you think that the artistic skill of a person is something they can just teach others like it's nothing, but it takes years to get to a point were people ask that question. It's like, people think we were master artists from birth, but no! we just drew pictures more often and kept on drawing way longer than other children from our old classes that ended up dancing or riding instead. Dancing and riding are skills that don't come overnight! sure there are natural talents that learn quicker, but literally, anybody can learn how to dance or ride. It just feels like a lot longer when you don't do it from childhood on! Heck, I know an 18-year-old who is just now starting to get better with art because she started drawing a lot more now, but she's a thousand times better at writing than I am because she does it longer and more often than I do Skills aren't something you can just give a tutorial on and *poof* that other person has that same skill, it takes time even learning from a professional rant over :3

Honestly, I just can't feel bad for Leopardstar. The events of The Darkest Hour just prove what a truly terrible leader she is. Stonefur died for her own selfish reasons; it's like she just threw all of his past loyalty and dedication to her clan away for what she wanted, it's just truly disgusting behavior. I'm surprised Mistyfoot even accepted her deputy position after that, in fact I'm even surprised that she stayed in RiverClan at all. It just goes to show the extent of her and Stonefur's loyalty. In my opinion, Leopardstar is one of the WORST leaders in Warriors' history.
Tiny But Mighty It's been a while since I read the books, but I'm not sure it's entirely her fault. I think it was more of Tigerstar's fault, because he had all the power in TigerClan anyway. Though I agree it was wrong to not speak up, she realized the errors of her ways and worked hard to fix them.
Tiny But Mighty yeah. I can somewhat agree with that. Leopardstar never really put thought into her decision, did she? There had to be a reason Tigerstar was kicked out of ThunderClan!! But while that was stupid, Lepordstar never knew he was a criminal. She wanted the best for her Clan and was never exactly evil.
Tiny But Mighty Exactly! She wasn't evil, but she truly failed as a leader. There had to be some reason Thunderclan kicked out Tigerstar. I mean be real he was their strongest warrior and "loyal". Who would let that go? She is weak for joining Tigerclan, she is weak for not standing up for her deputy, and she is weak for not standing up for her cats. She was still a leader. At anytime she could have left camp, and she could have gone to Thunderclan or Windclan for help. Or she could have exiled the half clan cats, and allowed them refuge elsewhere. When you become leader, you have people depending on you. If she wanted to be held back so be it. But don't drag everyone down with you. She always seemed proud. To proud to accept help, or show weakness. So how did she stoop so low?

I believe they chose gold because Ichor (Blood of Gods) is supposedly gold and fit the theme of the song. If not, it's an awesome coincidence.

first off, an artist can't just make a tutorial on how to draw like them it's literally impossible because noodlers have the drawing skills, that they got from years of practice! you can't just ask for a tutorial because drawing is way more complicated than that
sure an artist can make a tutorial of how they structure the cat's body or paint fur, but it's just a help and doesn't make you draw at the same skill level as the artist
I get asked SO MANY TIMES if I can teach people how to draw like me and tbh, it's kind of rude because it comes off like you think that the artistic skill of a person is something they can just teach others like it's nothing, but it takes years to get to a point were people ask that question. It's like, people think we were master artists from birth, but no! we just drew pictures more often and kept on drawing way longer than other children from our old classes that ended up dancing or riding instead.
Dancing and riding are skills that don't come overnight! sure there are natural talents that learn quicker, but literally, anybody can learn how to dance or ride. It just feels like a lot longer when you don't do it from childhood on! Heck, I know an 18-year-old who is just now starting to get better with art because she started drawing a lot more now, but she's a thousand times better at writing than I am because she does it longer and more often than I do
Skills aren't something you can just give a tutorial on and *poof* that other person has that same skill, it takes time even learning from a professional

Leopardstar made some stupid decisions, but the fact that she pulled herself, and her clan back up, says a lot in my opinion.

Honestly, I just can't feel bad for Leopardstar. The events of The Darkest Hour just prove what a truly terrible leader she is. Stonefur died for her own selfish reasons; it's like she just threw all of his past loyalty and dedication to her clan away for what she wanted, it's just truly disgusting behavior. I'm surprised Mistyfoot even accepted her deputy position after that, in fact I'm even surprised that she stayed in RiverClan at all. It just goes to show the extent of her and Stonefur's loyalty. In my opinion, Leopardstar is one of the WORST leaders in Warriors' history.
Tiny But Mighty It's been a while since I read the books, but I'm not sure it's entirely her fault. I think it was more of Tigerstar's fault, because he had all the power in TigerClan anyway. Though I agree it was wrong to not speak up, she realized the errors of her ways and worked hard to fix them.
Storms and Wolves But Leopardstar shouldn't have even joined TigerClan in the first place. It goes against everything the clans knows.
Tiny But Mighty yeah. I can somewhat agree with that. Leopardstar never really put thought into her decision, did she? There had to be a reason Tigerstar was kicked out of ThunderClan!! But while that was stupid, Lepordstar never knew he was a criminal. She wanted the best for her Clan and was never exactly evil.
Tiny But Mighty Exactly! She wasn't evil, but she truly failed as a leader. There had to be some reason Thunderclan kicked out Tigerstar. I mean be real he was their strongest warrior and "loyal". Who would let that go? She is weak for joining Tigerclan, she is weak for not standing up for her deputy, and she is weak for not standing up for her cats. She was still a leader. At anytime she could have left camp, and she could have gone to Thunderclan or Windclan for help. Or she could have exiled the half clan cats, and allowed them refuge elsewhere. When you become leader, you have people depending on you. If she wanted to be held back so be it. But don't drag everyone down with you. She always seemed proud. To proud to accept help, or show weakness. So how did she stoop so low?
