Thanks for the video, I put it to use right away. I love the idea of just creating a template that you can drop clips into. Do it once, and all the work is done for next time. custom presets is a must!

Thanks for this video! I've never done shorts for my gaming channel, though I keep hearing how important they are to growth. I didn't know how to really make a short in the portrait format out of gameplay, and so I looked at other big gaming channels I'm subbed to, and none of them had any, so I wasn't really sure what kinda guidelines there were or what makes a good gaming short. I think I have some idea now. Thanks

i increase the volume by right clicking on the audio and increasing the gain. is the level a better method?

I think it's pretty much the same. Levels will allow you to keyframe if you need to

I'm really curious, when setting up your Sequence, why do you have your Video Previews settings set to Quicktime & Apple ProRes 422 LT instead of the default I-Frame Only MPEG?

only way to fix that is to start with a higher resolution clip. If the camera is originally 5 pixels, scaling it will still be 5 pixels but more noticeable.
