Adding your husband to the video getting the food really brought it together made it different great video I really enjoyed watching the food looks absolutely delicious
Finally A Bahamian cooking channel. it's about time we share our Bahamian cuisine to the world. love the videos keep them coming. P.S Please share where you got your spatula from. i love that it's one piece.
Hello melda 242 thank you so much for all of your recipes, I am a Bahamian also, but am just learning about our food and culture, been in the US since 1999!
I made these with canned conch and they were terrific. My daughter and granddaughter just came back from Bahamas and they requested that I make these. They said they tasted just like the Bahamas. They said they had conch fritters everyday that they were there. By the way, if you refrigerate onions, you won't cry! Thanks for the video!
I'm so excited to be tuning in right now! I haven't seen this before and the video is interesting to watch as well! I loved the final result it looks so soft in the middle and yummy!❤
I love your happy voice!!! I feel Amazing vibe here 💕💕 it’s a very new unique recipe for me but it was really fun to watch. One day I would love to try this.
Oh my gosh.. Need to come back and watch this. When I lived in ATL, I used to eat this so much. We are connected and I'll be bingeing here for sure. Glad to be connected. I have hit the bell and I am here girl. You cannot get rid of me
Really enjoy every one of your videos, have suscribed to your channel, thank you for all the help, and what I really like about your videos is that you make everything so plain and simple, even a child could learn to make those dishes, please keep up the great work, and God bless you and your family in 2021!
This recipe is absolutely positively perfect ✨I’m the vegan in the family so I didn’t use conch✨ I used mushrooms, corn , extra bell pepper I also added some black pepper & paprika but that’s it. everything else I stuck to the recipe and I’m so happy I did . ✨im Bahamian and I made this for my family and they loved it. thank you❤️
Thanks for posting! A very helpful video. I just made a batter but it seemed too fluid to be the best consistency for deep frying however I see that yours is more liquid than I would have thought optimal. I'll go with what I have and hope for the best.
Looks so good! For the sauce, I prefer using dry mustard, squeeze in some lime or lemon juice, mix it till it becomes a paste, then add the mayo, ketchup, and hot sauce.
Just discovered your channel! And I must say... your videos remind me of my mom's kitchen....lol Love your videos. Especially the johnny cake recipe!! Thank you 😊
It's so good! Thank you for watching and supporting my efforts. I am sure that you would be able to find some conch over there. Happy conch searching, my friend.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! Followed your recipe & they came out soooo Delicious and it all was soooo simple!! (Don’t have to buy these lovely treats anymore!!!)
Welcome to my channel and thanks for watching. Yes you could use this method, but make sure you are using albacore tuna (solid tuna). All the best and let me know how they came out.
Good afternoon Mrs. Melda. I just recently subscribed to your channel. Thank you for sharing your recipes. Can you please post the measurements of the ingredients for this recipe please? Thank you!
Welcome, Kendra and thanks for watching. I appreciate you and I'm sorry for not posting the ingredients and measurements. Hold on, I will momentarily for you.
U mentioned that u added more baking powder like a teaspoon & a 1/2 after the batter was mixed. So, if I’m reading u right, that’s additional to the 2 tsp. that u already used in the batter for a total of 3 1/2 tsp. of baking powder correct???
Hello and thank you for the support. Use an additional 2 to 3 teaspoons of baking powder for a total of 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 teaspoons. Please bear in mind, the type of flour and or the baking powder you are using could make a difference in the amount you use as well.
Hello Darrelle, thank you for supporting my efforts today. This sounds delicious and it should be great with chicken breaast. Yes, go ahead and give it a try and please let me know how they turn out. God bless you and happy cooking.
