I just recently moved back to Florida from NC. I couldn't bring myself to move back to Miami but I'm close enough. Still have to travel to Miami for my conch fix though.
can you please send me the receipt for this crack conch, big fan of the Bahamian foods! grew up going to the Bahamas and haven't been in a long time so I really want to relive what my taste buds remember!
It depends on a few things. The pan that you use, your range/stove, the fat (oil) that you use. However, it can be 'hot' in about 20 - 25 minutes. Please check by doing the flour test, sprinkle a pinch of flour and if it fizzles immediately the fat/oil is ready.
Currently living in NC,,, can’t wait to move back to Miami,,, oh how I miss that CONCH 😋

How long you let your fat hot before you add the conch?
