I'm from Guatemala, and I always go to visit my family every six months. No matter what, I always have to go to Antigua. It is my favorite city. I'm glad you guys loved it😊
Beautiful Antigua... I always wanted to go there maybe one day I will have the opportunity to see that beautiful place. Every country in Central America have something beautiful to show to travelers. I am so thankful to you because you are showing to the world how beautiful is Central America. Thank you girls. Greetings from Australia 😍❤
Is so beautiful and rich the United Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and that extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources too bad big foreign companies have been taking almost everything for more than a century. The Malvinas belong to Argentina, The Esequibo belongs to Venezuela and Belice belongs to Guatemala.

A year later I watched your videos and they’re amazing! Thank you to you and your beautiful girls. I’m a father of a 16 year old girl, I lived in the Bay Area, CA. I was born in El Salvador but brought here by my mother when I was 15 years old long time ago. In a few more years I’ll be able to retire and your videos are given me so many ideas and information about where I would like to retire in the future. Thank you much!! Keep enjoying the world and their cultures. Best wishes!!
Thanks for your nice comment! I'm so glad our videos are helpful and that you're enjoying them! I'm curious as to which countries you're considering for retirement.

La cuevita de los urquizu literally translates to the cave of the urquizu which is the last name of the founders of that delicious and iconic place in antigua. Much love and thank you for visiting my country. I hope they treated you well during your stay, God bless!
Just found your channel and subscribed. We're going to Antigua and Lake Atitlan this summer so we watched your videos for a preview of what to expect! Your travels look fantastic and we are going to check out your other videos. You sure have been to a lot of places!
I’m glad that you enjoyed your visit to Antigua Guatemala. Here are some interesting facts you might have missed: Antigua Guatemala, whose real name is La Muy Noble y Muy Leal Ciudad de Santiago de los Caballeros de Goathemalan (The Very Noble and Very Loyal City of Saint James of the Knights of Guatemala) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was founded in 1542 and from 1542 to 1776 was the capital city of the Kingdom of Guatemala which included Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua , Costa Rica, the Mexican State of Chiapas and the Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro provinces of Panama. Its location 1,582 meters above mean sea level (5,190 feet) accounts for its average yearly low 13.2° C., mean 18.3° C and high 23.5°C temperatures. Antigua is surrounded by 3 volcanoes, Agua (Water), Fuego (Fire) and Acatenango. Fuego Volcano is very active but hiking tours to Agua and Acatenango are very popular. From Antigua you can also take day trip to Pacaya volcano. Pacaya is very active buy in my opinion is the best volcanic hike in the entire American Continent. The University of San Carlos of Guatemala is the oldest university in Central America and was the fourth founded in the Americas. Established in the Kingdom of Guatemala during the Spanish colony in the year 1676 (100 years before the US independence and at about the same time New Amsterdam became New York). Antigua is also famous for its coffee plantations and there are many tours centered around it. One final comment, in your Lake Atitlan video the girls apparently didn’t like Guatemalan chocolate as much as Swiss chocolate. Chocolate is originally from the Americas and the way it is traditionally prepared here is very different from the way that you might be used to. Don´t worry about it, I also prefer Swiss chocolate taste, just keep in mind you should not try to compare them side by side.
I forgot to add that the “Palacio de los Capitanes Generales” (The Captain General Palace) was built in 1558. The General Captaincy of Guatemala was governed from this building , and inside it all the government, administrative and military offices worked, basically ruling all of what is now modern day Central America from here.
Hey Alejandro! Where were you when we were visiting Antigua? We could’ve used all this information to include it in the video. Thanks so much for all the details we really appreciate it!
Alejandro Maldonado I was under the impression that Guatemala is going through a turbulent and violent era, which is why there are so many people fleeing northward. What’s the truth? Thanks!

The facial , I want one !!!! Looks terrific. So interesting , the food looks so wonderful. The cheese oh my goodness. It looks so creamy. The beautiful scarf's ,I bet they love them. The buildings so amazing and the volcano wow, I have never seen one. Glad it did not erupt . Great video enjoyed .
