Boston's positive vibes are helping me deal with my cancer walk. Their music has always uplifted me to continue the battle. I have been listening to them since 1976. Thank you....
Stage 3b lung adenocarcinoma, non-small cell. Double right upper lobotomy. 34 chemo, 32 radiation. Here I am 8 years later. Stay in the fight... and you'll win the war.
Yeah he developed most of the technology the band is using himself. It’s great to see a rock star with an engineering degree who can both write fantastic tunes, and engineer the technology to get himself the sounds that he’s searching for. The Scholz Rockman Amps and Racks they are using are crucial to the bands sound. It’s definitely a one of a kind guitar sound!
THIS is a prime example of a Joyful Rock song ,I always knew rock was good for you this is proof and man they deliver this live right on! RIP Brad and Sib!
As a 37 year old who has been rocking Boston music since I turned 20 I can’t believe how good their music still is!!! Long live American rock and Roll!
I have been a Boston fan since 1988, the first time I ever heard their debut album. IMO, Tom Sholtz is one of the unrecognized Gods of rock and roll. This video was my first time seeing him in flesh and blood, so to speak. It literally gave me chills. Boston is the greatest rock and roll band ever
Tommy is a great singer to keep the Boston flag flying. Yes maybe he could be a little more energetic as far as his stage presence goes, but he still sounds great. People will call it a tribute band, but Tom Scholz started this whole thing himself. Its his project. He can have whoever he wants in the band. Yes his band that toured the first album and played on Don’t Look Back was better, but he’s the boss in Boston. We all wish it could be Scholz, Delp, Sheehan, Goudreau, and Hashian. Scholz hired Delp to sing on his Guitar, organ, and Bass demos he recorded in his basement because he knew that this was the guy he needed to make his songs sound great. He originally hired drummer Jim Masdea to record the drums, but he had to hire Sib Hashian at the request of the record company to play drums for the official release of the album. Gary Phil has been in the band since Third Stage, so he’s a longtime member too. At least Boston has its founder and principal songwriter still in the fold and is not like the band Yes who were founded by Jon Anderson and Chris Squire, and neither of them are in the current lineup of Yes. Squire passed away a few years ago, and Anderson just isn’t in the band. Steve Howe and Alan White from the classic era are, but Howe isn’t the original guitarist and White isn’t the original drummer. Those would be Peter Banks and Bill Bruford respectively. So my point being is that call it a tribute band, but it’s not really being that Scholz started this himself. There are other bands like Yes that are more tribute bands than Boston. Speaking of Yes and Boston, I think Decarlo is better at singing Brad Delps parts than Jon Davison doing an impression of Jon Anderson. DeCarlo naturally sounds more like Brad Delp than Davison does toward Anderson. I personally think the band here still sounds pretty good though playing these good songs. I would still pay to see them because I’m a gen z who wasn’t around to experience the reign of Rock music, so I would still very much enjoy any lineup of Tom Scholz’s Boston. I can’t say the same about Yes without Anderson and Squire.
First time I heard Feelin' Satisfied was 4 days ago. Couple of good Boston tunes I really appreciate since the beginning of the millennium, now it's a few
That's one of my big favorite Boston songs. I also really like that blond haired woman gjuitarist. She's also so cool the way she plays her electric guitar. I like it so much when video is recorded of singer musicians and bands with as good of sound as this live video of Boston was recorded with. There's enough other live videos people record of bands that the audio quality is so poor on. I feel that if people who record video of bands don't have what they really need ro record any singer musician or band or don't know how to record them with at least decent audio quality, that they shouldn't even bother. To me it just totally takes the enjoyment of the music out, when the audio quality is poor, so that's where i give the person who recorded this video a big thumbs up for recording this video with as good of audio quality as they did.
And he needs to eat some real food to get some protein cause he looks like Forrest Gump wearing that knee brace! :) Also, read this: "Lifelong Delp friend Steve Frary also offered insight on Delp’s relationship with Scholz. Frary says that Delp told him that Scholz was “driving him crazy,” and was surprised when Delp used an expletive to describe Scholz, the only time that Frary heard Delp swear in the 35 years he had known him. The court documents paint an unflattering portrait of Scholz." Everyone bitching about the line up. I commend them for continuing to bring us some great 80's rock. They sound great! Yes, Brad was a great singer, guess what, he's gone.
So this is where Def Leppard got their ideas and their first american on through the night cover with a guitar in space, Boston started the guitar covers and the harmonies, Toms guitar playing and awesome sound, Def Leppard is Boston just british and thats the sound mutt lange wanted for them and they went with it even using tom stolz sound and guitar melodies on numerous albums including Hysteria, I can hear numerous simulariea in both bands sounds and now I know where the british guys got it, nicely done, that Rockman works wonders even in the hard rock/netal days of the 80's.
I saw them in Cleveland around 03. Brad was there and he was doing good. I think a fella named Cosmo was also there. During More than a Feeling I was skeptical Brad could hit that high note. He didn't try. He walked over to the other fella and pointed to his head while that kid went ahead and hit that note. My jaw hit the floor. The gal was always on bass. I swear there was about 9-12 folks on stage that night and at one point they all had a guitar on. Shortly thereafter Brad was gone. They sure play a long time. I'm not sure what all the equipment is really for since he invented the Rockman to put the sound into a little box. Glad I got to see Tom and Brad do this. I unexpectedly got to see Ozzy 2 years ago finally and much to my delight I got to see Zakk with him too.
The stage gear is pretty impressive. How can you possibly need all that stuff or even work with it if you're not Tom ? The poor drummer who has to play behind a wall of plexi glass makes it all even more serious. Anyway I've always loved the unique Boston sound and I'm glad to see it's still alive.
I'd be willing to bet the singer agrees🤔 but I have to give him credit he does a great job and even looks similar to Brad, Brads loss is wound that will "never" heal 😔, he was one of the finest musicians and human beings on this planet "forever missed, never forgotten" RIP Brad Delp
RIP Brad Delp. Absolute legend. But if you watch the live video from 1979 at Giants Stadium, he can't hit half the notes. This guy actually sings better live. No diss to Brad, I'll love his voice forever, but he, like most high-pitched singers, couldn't quite reach those highs live.
The band sounds great and I think the current members are all great musicians, but I can’t help missing the original lineup and the old beat up Marshalls and Ampegs.
Sounds like a guitar chord error mostly, definitely a quick mistake on Dahme's part. But Tom plays his leads sloppily all the time, at least after the '70s. To his credit, he sounded much better in 2017.
I just can't. Like so many great bands that retain just one original member, it just doesn't work. I knew Bradley. I'm not sure how to feel but this is merely a tribute band.
The lead singer didn't have to become a Brad Delp looking starter kit. There was and always will be only one great Brad Delp. He has a great singing voice. He doesn't need the Elvis lmpersonation shit to be convincing or appreciated.
Too bad that Tom no longer wants to write or record new songs. He took the public's rejection of "Corporate America" too personally. The album was a turkey.
My favorite Boston tune. Loved the vocals. The lead singer was wearing mom-jeans, oversized Tee and totally refused to rock. Boring. Not what Tom Scholz deserves.
THE BASS PLAYER IS NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS FRAN SHEEHAN, THE VOCALIST SOUNDS LIKE HE"S JUST GOING THRU THE MOTIONS AND THE WHOLE BAND IS JUST LOOKS LIKE THEY"RE NOT HAVING FUN...
Tommy Decarlo may lack a lot of visual stage presence, but his vocals are reliable and good. It's true that Fran Sheehan was better, but at least the bass player is generally pretty tight.
Boston's positive vibes are helping me deal with my cancer walk. Their music has always uplifted me to continue the battle. I have been listening to them since 1976. Thank you....
Good luck and prayers for you in your battle. Music like this is timeless.
Hoping and praying for you.
Stage 3b lung adenocarcinoma, non-small cell. Double right upper lobotomy. 34 chemo, 32 radiation.
Here I am 8 years later.
Stay in the fight... and you'll win the war.
Love you.
God bless my man!
This song is AWESOME! Maybe the most underrated song of theirs.
The studio version has incrediblly beautiful backing chorus vocals like no other. There aren't enough Brad Delps on stage to do it live.
The sound of Tom's guitar gives me chills everytime I hear it
Delta 38 Tom is such a genius in both sense
Yeah man. Me too.
Delta 38 ikr. So awesome.
@Vinnie Provolone they need to do a guitar gear on this guy
Yeah he developed most of the technology the band is using himself. I love the way Tom Scholz looks when he's playing. So focused and passionate, a true master!
you can tell he is playing from the heart
And a Sea Shepherd t-shirt which I know.
The singer makes me think of Dean Castronovo as well as Kelly Hansen. The look
As a 37 year old who has been rocking Boston music since I turned 20 I can’t believe how good their music still is!!! Long live American rock and Roll!
I’m crying happy tears! The soundtrack of my beautiful teen life!!
The best concert I've ever been to period.
love the old gold top Les Paul
That's vintage tom
1968.
With distortion pickups
Yeah, he’s a legend
As an entertainer,it thrills my heart with joy when the audience claps in rhythm with the song similar to the album. Its such a blessed sound.
This is so much better than I expected!
Takes me right back to listening to this GREAT song when in high school.
Great job on whoever filmed this !!! Perfect job, thank you
Amazing concert I was there! Through the wind and rain we stayed!
Ooo are feeling satisfied...i still have this record and i tell u when i here boston it takes me back to when life was great....long live boston
You really should come over to the UK would be great to see you, still playing the music since 77.

Tom is the perfect example of brilliance when combining an engineer and a musician all in one.
He has many patterns on guitar pickups and pedals
love them !!!! feeling !!!! the ride ,, I'm ready !!!!! let's go !!!!!
Glad I was there!!
Awesome! Great song, one of my fave from Tom! Thane!
Love this song!!
Hey, look: It's a Boston tribute band with a guest appearance by Scholz!
My thoughts exactly

What do you mean? This is the real band isn't it?
Yeah, it's Boston , but every original member is gone except Tom Scholz who is the founder of the band.
Everyone bitching about the line up. I commend them for continuing to bring us some great 80's rock. They sound great! Yes, Brad was a great singer, guess what, he's gone.
AOR purissimo. I Boston suonavano e lo interpretavano come pochi...m
damn I'd love to get my hands on some of that SR&D gear.
Yes great camera work my friend!! Thanks a Lot!!
Absolutely magnificant live performance with the best musicians of Boston together
LOL. Dig Tom's setup, LOLOL. Guy could land on Mars, with that gear. Fucking awesome.

great - greeting from Germany
This is their Best Song
Did you film the whole concert??? Your video is BY FAR the best on the web right now. I hope you can post more.
Seen them back in 2015
I saw them in Cleveland around 03. Brad was there and he was doing good. I think a fella named Cosmo was also there. During More than a Feeling I was skeptical Brad could hit that high note. Damn the lead singer is so close!!!!
The singer does a great job with Brad D's vocals
no one will ever replace brad delp
I'd be willing to bet the singer agrees🤔 but I have to give him credit he does a great job and even looks similar to Brad, Brads loss is wound that will "never" heal 😔, he was one of the finest musicians and human beings on this planet "forever missed, never forgotten" RIP Brad Delp

Christopher Agan FAKE NEWS ?? Is there any valid meaning to your comment cuz "I don't get the reason for it, or wtf exactly you mean"
@@jakefoster5611 I saw Brad Delp in concert five times from 1995 to 2003, he did just fine.
😞
those are my boys!
love Boston , when i die they will be playing at my furenal.
yes sir me too bro
The band sounds great and I think the current members are all great musicians, but I can’t help missing the original lineup and the old beat up Marshalls and Ampegs.
@1:43 Tom Scholz: "You're fired bass player!"
Its only a matter of time until Tom gets pissed and fires a band member of Boston.
Lol
Sounds like a guitar chord error mostly, definitely a quick mistake on Dahme's part. But Tom plays his leads sloppily all the time, at least after the '70s. To his credit, he sounded much better in 2017.
@@sheatiller2465The technology on instruments had improved.
Scholz is a rock and roll beast!!
Really tough backing vocals live but they did a pretty good job with it
“Come on let us give your mind a ride…..”
RIP Brad Delp
even LIVE tom can get that sound
Tom Scholz is a true master of music
Tom has all the equipment for his guitar and it sounds amazing............................and the other band memebers also...............
How tf does the BAND not get the handclap parts right? Jesus Christ!
Still great
Great singer as well
What is that box on a post in front of Tom
Definitely don't hear that one enough!
Why is Rob Zombie's wife playing guitar for Boston?
If this ain't the best Boston song then I dk
Tom Scholz is my hero, period!
Tommy Decarlo beat out Michael Sweet. That's making a statement.
All those people with harsh criticism, what was the band going to do, break up?
Tommy "the man" Scholz is all I got to say.
I think Brad Delp would approve of this singer.
I hate to say this but I think Tommy De Carlo sounds better then Brad live! can't believe I said that
@@barryjames9404DeCarlo skips around quite a few high notes. Fran Cosmo wouldn't have done that.😮😮😮
Great song. Not the same without Brad, or Barry, but I’m a fan for life
At least Tom's guitar is spot on.
What kind of guitar is blonde girl playing?
I would give a piece of me to be able to sing like Delp
Tom's like "This is soooooo cool; I get 90 percent of the money, and let the other guys fight over the remaining 10. Ahhhh, its good to be me." ; )
I just can't. Like so many great bands that retain just one original member, it just doesn't work. I knew Bradley. I'm not sure how to feel but this is merely a tribute band.
Look like they are thinking "Damn this again?" Mr Delp (With Tom) WAS Boston! Hey Tom! He's not coming back!
The lead singer didn't have to become a Brad Delp looking starter kit. There was and always will be only one great Brad Delp. He has a great singing voice. He doesn't need the Elvis lmpersonation shit to be convincing or appreciated.
Tom is a fantastic guitar player and writer. Graduated from MIT. Terrible human being.
he sounds almost like brad delp
Where's the screams at the end....SAD
I didn't know Julian from Trailer Park Boys could sing.
or that Jacob could play guitar and write songs!
Julian and Jacob getting Greasy on stage.
*Is not the same without brad, barry, fran and sib 😞🎸*
There's only one Brad.
Too bad that Tom no longer wants to write or record new songs. He took the public's rejection of "Corporate America" too personally. The album was a turkey.
Give Tommy a mic stand or something. The dude is just floundering around the stage aimlessly. Good vocals, just needs some presence.
Who dug up Brad Delp? Damn that's creepy with the new guy made up to look like him.
Wow that lead singers stage presence reminds me of..................................NOTHING
He drives me crazy! (In a bad way.)
Love Boston. Hate front man mom jeans. He makes it look like Disney…or bullshit. Good voice. Who cares in those jeans.
No Brad Delp = SUUUUUUUX.
My favorite Boston tune. Loved the vocals. The lead singer was wearing mom-jeans, oversized Tee and totally refused to rock. Boring. Not what Tom Scholz deserves.
cover band
This guy is a great singer a good Brad Delp rip off but he walks around the stage like he just want a contest and he doesn't know what to do
This guy isn’t even anywhere close to Brad Delp! Nope!
Love the song & love Boston, but seriously the singer has no energy. No enthusiasm or star/front man presence. I've seen more energy in rest homes.
Great voice…absolute worst frontman…Mr mom jeans haha
This blonde girl does not fit in this band
Singer needs to learn how to screem and howl a little
THE BASS PLAYER IS NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS FRAN SHEEHAN, THE VOCALIST SOUNDS LIKE HE"S JUST GOING THRU THE MOTIONS AND THE WHOLE BAND IS JUST LOOKS LIKE THEY"RE NOT HAVING FUN...
