I saw Boston live back in 1994. The moment the guys walked onto the stage, everyone stood up and stayed that way for the whole concert. It was amazing and the stadium was rockin. To hear Brad Delp sing live is mind blowing. Sorry to say, I'm not impressed with the current lead singer and will not watch another video with him in it. Tom Schloz doesn't even look like he's enjoying himself.
I saw Boston in 79 at the Boston Garden. They were outstanding!! Dint think they could pull it off live and boy did they ever. Agree with you about this guy. Thought he did a solid job...

What an absolute joy to see Tom Scholz the master back on stage and bringing all of those amazing masterpieces of music he created back to the fans...thanks for posting this!!!
Tommy DeCarlo's story is just like Arnel Pineda's... a real-life fairy tale! Both gentlemen were discovered thru an internet post, and the rest is history 😁
I get all giddy when I look behind Tom and see the rack full of the Scholz Rockman guitar overdrive , effects and distortion units . The Iconic Blue fronts are unmistakable. I owned several of them in the day. They are hard to find today, but Ill bet not so hard for the man who created them. Iconic band, and right up there with one of the most educated bands in rock. Brian May from Queen has a PHD in Astro Physics. Tom Scholz of Boston a graduate of MIT, and electronic wiz.
Same here! I still own a Tom Scholtz Rockman, but it needs fixing. Such a pro musician, and to think labels turned them down is hilarious. He writes amazing songs and plays for the band and not for himself.
What a phenomenal band..!! I would have loved to have seen this live..!! Thank you Image Factory for posting this video..!! First 8 Track I ever bought was Boston..!!
Gary Pihl (pronounced "peel") very talented guy, 'Sammy Hagar was the opening act at the end of Boston's first tour in 1977 and opened the whole second tour in 1978/79. It was on those tours that Pihl met Tom Scholz. The two of them found out how much they had in common with their extensive home studios and techniques. It set up a lifelong bond and a few years later Tom asked Pihl to join Boston, after Hagar decided to join Van Halen. ' -Wiki
You kid, I turned 60 in early December. This has always been my favorite band. Tom Schulz is nothing less than the Einstein of 70’s rock. I love this band and the music they created.
I was 13 in 97 and I had a Panasonic record player and I put on more than a feeling it was awesome I cranked the the volume the new lead singer sounds amazing
Good and real Bad. As a musician and drummer for 60 years, I can appreciate this great band. Each musician and singer are performing at a high level. I love this band! As Boston fans, we are blessed to have this video. I also love the fantastic performance of Tommy DeCarlo. He's spot on! Too bad his microphone and it's EQ settings were not up to task. The bad: terrible mix. Barely audible bass. The drums sound way too compressed, untuned, and artificial. They have no soul or depth. Very flat. The drummer does a good job but the sound engineer failed the band, audience, and fans. Overall, a great performance by the band. What a shame the mix is subpar.

The band that could never give us dedicated fans enough. We take what Tom's musical genius gave us. Imagine if we could of had the production volume out of Boston as what we had with, say Rush. Love you Tom...and THANK YOU!!!

Great things come out of Boston. The Cars, Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Larry Bird, and the band Boston. Revolutionized the rock industry. Set the bar for tone very high, then a lot of bands tried to get the sound. Nothing could match the original. Everyone talks about Tom Scholz the engineering wizard. Great composer, master sound mixer, and he's also a great musican on the keyboards and guitar.
Great band...I love Boston. Unfortunately, The band will never be put in the hof, because what is presented on stage is never what is pressed, and released as a band...it is just Sholz, and a voice. Without Barry and Fran (left alive) this is just a stage act, doing Sholz's recordings.
Boston is one of my top favorite bands. But I have to say it's not the same without Brad Delp. Just like Heart, another favorite, wouldn't be the same without Ann & Nancy Wilson.
Always going to love Boston, although no one will ever replace the depth and intensity of the late Brad Delp's vocal tonality. Many changes since theri original debut when I was a kid, but still one of the greatest rock bands led by the musical innovations of Tom Scholz! RIP Brad.

I was there that night. I’ve been to a lot of the greatest rock concerts and I have to say this was one of the best. These are insanely perfect musicians. The instrumentals were my favorite. So awesome!
The guitarist Gary is tremendous and the girl sings and plays multiple instruments, she was great! They were all great and a great concert but although the vocals were good he just didn't have the range and emotion and energy of the great Brad Delp!
First concert I ever went to was Boston. Took My 8 year old daughter to see them and we have seen them every time they come to southern california since. We were at this concert. She just turned 29 on the 8th... Its my 62nd bday today.......The greek is the best venue ever!
Boston was my first concert ever! Openers were Blue Oyster Cult and Tommy Bolin 1976 McNicohls Arena. Tom was an MIT grad in Electrical Engineering. The reason it took forever to release albums is Tom had a side hustle making effects pedals. In one interview, he said the pinnacle of his career was when Jeff Beck ordered the only peddle he only had one of. 😎
Your wildest dream can come true! Just ask Tommy. Great Job. Being a singer myself i can say those vocal are insane he is gifted. Those are some real hard lyrics to belt out. Congrats to him and the rest of the band hope they do more together.

Que gozada de banda, suena perfecta, y que suerte encontrar a alguien que pueda clavar a Delp como este tío lo hace y sin desgañitarse, lo hace sobrado. Gracias por compartir
01:17:45 Tommy De Carlo is alright but too much falsetto in my opinion, not like I could even come close to doing better, just sayin...Boston defiantly is not the same
Someone said that Boston is basically a cover band now and I have to agree with that as a Boston fan it just ain't the same with only one original member in the band. He could atleast bring Barry back
Hey Tom, First off.. Awesome concert! second, I laughed my ass off when you did the Eddie hammer. Nice! funny part, and I saw is... 1:20 in or so, Flipping the finger when you showed his hand. LOL. So cool! That's Perfection my friend!
It’s great to see Scholz playing, but I can’t get past the personnel changes. And frankly, this doesn’t sound as good as the band used to. If not for Scholz, it’s a tribute group. It’s interesting what people are willing to overlook in their desire to go back.
I love ❤️😘 me some Boston music 🎼🎵🎶🎼 I've seen them so many times in live concerts! Awesome band performer! One of the greatest rock and roll band in the 70's! I never get tired listening to their music!!
He’s not Brad, there will only be one Brad.. but, he’s as close as you’re gonna get and he did a fantastic job. And I do think they sound great.
Totally agree! This is the best "Boston" footage I have ever found on the internet from a sound and picture quality too!

Que gozada de banda, suena perfecta, y que suerte encontrar a alguien que pueda clavar a Delp como este tío lo hace y sin desgañitarse, lo hace sobrado. Gracias por compartir
Greatest Band Boston, Third Stage Album Is Excellent.
01:17:45 Tommy De Carlo is alright but too much falsetto in my opinion, not like I could even come close to doing better, just sayin...Boston defiantly is not the same
Drum sound is too thin.
Ya es hora que el mundo entero se ponga de rodillas ante nuestro señor JesuCristo
Someone said that Boston is basically a cover band now and I have to agree with that as a Boston fan it just ain't the same with only one original member in the band. He could atleast bring Barry back

Greatest rendition of Feelin’ Satisfied I’ve listened to! Thanks!
I can’t tell you how many albums and cassettes of the Boston debut I’ve burned through over the past 47 years.
Was that Sib Hashian on the skins? I couldnt quite tell. Sib was perfect for them back in the day.
It really shows what a talented musician Brad was.
not Brad
@@designstudio8013She said “was”.
Guitar center 13 Mile Rd and Gratiot! And the New Baltimore Michigan High School is cool for Teenage years!
Great vocals not easy to replicate
Audio left channel is out of phase with audio right channel?
Had to stop watching. Those drums sounded terrible and you can barely hear guitars.
My fav band boston
Hey Tom, First off.. Awesome concert! second, I laughed my ass off when you did the Eddie hammer. Nice! funny part, and I saw is... 1:20 in or so, Flipping the finger when you showed his hand. LOL. So cool! That's Perfection my friend!
Why does Tom's other guitar player that he hired kinda look like him it's like looking at two Tom's on stage
What was the song after More than a feeling or was that an improvised solo with all that drumming and guitar work?
It’s great to see Scholz playing, but I can’t get past the personnel changes. And frankly, this doesn’t sound as good as the band used to. If not for Scholz, it’s a tribute group. It’s interesting what people are willing to overlook in their desire to go back.
It's nothing to do with going back. It's about moving forward.
@@danieldebono7116 Yes well, nobody goes to a Boston concert to hear the new album.
@@Ariesmount did you watch the actual concert before running your mouth? They're clearly playing the hits. Moving forward means not ending the band.
@@danieldebono7116 Thanks for your feedback, Daniel. I’m so sorry I offended you.
I love ❤️😘 me some Boston music 🎼🎵🎶🎼 I've seen them so many times in live concerts! Awesome band performer! One of the greatest rock and roll band in the 70's! I never get tired listening to their music!!
I'm sorry but there is nothing special about this voice Brad Delp 🎵🎶🙏🎸❤ put soul into it when he sang and his high pitched voice was second to none
SCREW YOURSELF PRINCESS. ✌️👊💪💪💪💪
Well obviously they can't have Brad sing... the vocals are pretty good here.
как всегда прекрасно, любимая группа юности
What idiot put the drummer in a box??? 😡🤬😡🤬 They ruined the whole sound 😢
The left and right channels seem to be out of phase. Any other sources for this recording?
