Capturing Cologne on Camera | CONTAX Zeiss 35mm f1.4

- Join us on our trip to Cologne. We went there for a weekend and enjoyed the stay. Nice view on top of the cathedral and good wine at the bottom of the cathedral in the historical center where the restaurants are. Benjamin made some great pictures with the Sony a7ii and the Rollei 35S. I filmed the whole trip on my trusty Lumix S1H rocking the Contax Zeiss 35mm f1.4. Vintage lenses for the win ;)

Superb!! Are you filming without gimbal? And sorry, i'm a video newbie, do you have to use ND filter? And last question, is it easy to focus with manual lens like this or do you close down to 5.6 and smaller to make sure you get everything in focus? Sorry for the stupid questions. I also have some Contax lenses and they're awesome! Best, Chris.
Thank you for the comment! Everything was shot handheld. I used a variable ND filter to keep my shutter angle at 180°. The contax lens was used wide open, so f1.4. It's pretty hard to focus correctly, I'm just eye balling it and trying to keep everything in focus, most of the shots I film are still unusable. My friends are always joking, that my videos are always out of focus, but it's fun for me, so I'll keep doing it. To you, best of luck and have fun shooting :)
