How Far can I get in Assassin's Creed Valhalla without being SPOTTED?

- This is a new idea I decided to try where I start a new game of Assassin's Creed Valhalla and try and go as long as possible without being spotted by any enemies and remaining stealthy. Although it's safe to say not all goes according to plan...

That is a question I always ask myself before getting insta-spotted from 50 miles
i swear if they where the secret services during the assassination of JFK lee harvey oswald would of been like ceaser in assassin creed brotherhood
The enemies in Valhalla are the protagonists of the game while eivor's an npc
@@fire-typhoon123 pretty much lmao
They got eagle vision too
The fact that you related most characters from Valaha to Ezio's time was mighty impressive.
i was expecting a 5 sec video
The stealth in this game sucks but honestly it was harder to sneak in ac 3
@@worstthanaveragegamer1041 or Ac 1. Like, you didn't have ledge and hiding spot assassinations and only a half working jump assassination with dozens of enemies on the streets.
I was 3 s 💀
Just wait for odyssey lol
@@Ninjorsta lmao
Me who can't even stay hidden for more than 20 seconds in Ezio's game :- 👁️ 👄 👁️
I hope mirage will give us an option to be stealth or do combat
It will cus its leaning towards the older AC games
@@WingOfSteelbro we litterally saw ZERO gameplay. You're simply going by Ubi's words (which never ends well)
@@justuraveragecunt9005 well yeah but i wanna give the people hope...💀
@@WingOfSteel valhalla was supposed to be that way too....
No just that Mirage will be a better game than Valhalla, hopefully in the style of ac2 and ac1, hidden blade combat would be wonderful but doubt it will happen. Just a good all-around story
I'd pull out my favourite quotes from today's vid, but every line was gold. Great stuff, almost makes me want to go back and finish Valhalla, except, no.
Nice video, nice humor. I've played the first couple of original AC. The first modern AC I have played is AC Valhalla, and I must say I really enjoy the combat and the story.
Ah yes the game where you can be detected through 7 miles of rock and earth or across the entire of England
Nah, youre just trash
facts lol
nope , you have to change your settings
@@aspirewot8408"make the game easier or play in the most boring way to have stealth be viable in a stealth franchise" when do we blame the developers for bad game design?
@@coffinmyface4237 na this game is better than both ac origins and blackflag ( ship simulator ).. the combat was smooth + stealth is good too this guy hasn't played it . There's a setting where you can adjust stealth quality., And this is RPG not full stealth game like previous titles so yeah there's that , but it was fun I've like 200+ hours in this lol
“The Parting Glass” from Black Flag was the absolute perfect music choice for the end of the video. Honestly just a beautiful song in general, favourite version is definitely “The Wailin Jennys”
The fact that I got the ezio trilogy summed up for me in this video is easily the last thing I expected
The best stealth ability in the game is the one that slows time.
the best stealth ability is when you close the game and boot up a game with a stealth system that actually works
@@GRGCompletionist odyssey's stealth works flawlessly when you get a good gear. Having played all the mainline ac games, i find ac odyssey's stealth the most satisfying. In previous ac games you couldn't even crouch or throw smoke in the direction you want until unity came out 💀
Old ac games didn't have an epic stealth either, it was a balance of combat and stealth with tailing missions that were dumb.
@@devuk8196 yeah people like to shit on odyssey but at least the stealth actually worked in that game if you take out the dmg numbers
@@devuk8196 you could be stealthy in the older games but you had to understand how the game's animations and glitches worked, outside unity and syndicate i'd say that the best stealth systems were present in the kenway era of games. Simple and fun to execute not to mention how smooth the animations were in those games.
@@GRGCompletionist ac3 stealth was pretty bad tbh. It had the same problem as Valhalla. They instantly spotted us and if i whistle, the whole camp would come at me in the bushes 😭
Sometimes, they randomly spotted me even tho I'm not in their vision sight, it's like they had a eye on the back of their head.
I'll say you made it further than I thought you would for a game with known broken stealth mechanics. I'd say go in reverse order, and try Odyssey and then Originas and so on. Great video
oyddsye??? LOL i nthat u cant even stealth u have to be same evel as the enemy or else it will only do half damage . valhalla stealth is like ac2 one shot ded
@@aspirewot8408 bro you can unlock an ability called critical assassination when you dont have to do a qte or anything and just press and hold the assassination button and its basically one shot
@@thesmileguy_8714 You mean in odyssey? Its not one shot too.
That went better than I expected, in my case I try so hard to not get spotted and it works well until someone with the eyesight of a satellite across the ocean sees me
That last 2-3 minutes at the ending was beautiful
"They don't call me master assassin for no reason"
You didn't say that for no reason lol
Yup overcame me loads of times cuz if they’re sleeping sitting and stuff you’ll get this lazy a$$ animation when the blade often doesn’t even touch the enemy. I would love to see more of this content maybe also with mirage? Keep up the good work!
11:38 Am I the only one who was expecting eivor to do an jumping kill?
nah thats what i was thinking too.
next : "how many man o' wars can you fight without repairing"
The answer is usually one or zero for me...
@@natchu96 with some special skills you can heal the damage just by not getting damaged anymore or by hitting enemies. i normally dont have to heal anymore after like 15h in the game because of those 2 skills. but it also helps to not get hit
At least 3
That'd be the worst challenge of all time lmao
Stealth was really awesome and quite a bit even though it ended like that❤️ and also that ending song 🥺
Did you know the voice actress that played Anne Bonny in Black Flag and sang that song also did the voice for Cerys An Craite in Witcher 3?
I dare to say this but we have to take this as a HUGE Grain of Salt that we must play the game in it’s intentional purpose.
- Let the Animus Decide
- Combat (Your Decision)
- Stealth on Very Hard (Basically No Stealth)
Because if you ask me Eivor doesn’t become an Assassin nor does Assassin things in Story.
ubisoft threw in basim just so that they could call it an AC game……
remove basim and its fkin
Ubisoft Presents:
the same studio thay brought you Greek Warrior simulator….
VIKING SIMULATOR!
Did the entire ac fandom forget about some of the points of ac2? Where when ezio officially joined the brotherhood, the narrative was that almost everyone around him was an assassin but just wasn’t the ‚typical‘ assassins
@@adarshsridhar6051 yeah that’s what they almost did with Darius in Odyssey where many people thought he was “Just Some Guy” who was unintentionally helping the Assassin.
Thus giving us someone who was an Outsider who also want to stop tyranny. But no they made Darius too similar to the Assassin such as the Hood and Tenets. Therefore Ubisoft can’t make anything subtle without adding any Iconography into their product. Shame it no longer bothers telling good Narrative Story Telling.
@@UMvsC3DPFWPW Darius also predates the Hidden Ones, the group that grew into the core of Assassin-aligned ideology for the rest of human history. I take less issue with this than most since the Assassin Brotherhood is actually more or less made up of multiple like-minded organizations that arose independently around the world getting connected with each other over time, it's just that most of the traditions they unified under trace back to the Egyptian Hidden Ones.
Which means all the iconography shoehorned into Darius' character makes no goddamned sense in the end, but the freedom-fighting part is fine.
As far as AC2 goes, Ezio does not formally join the Brotherhood until the end and was just helped along in life by assassins along the way into agreeing with the cause rather than just living for revenge, but that's kind of the thing here. Eivor is friendly to but never actually commits to the cause. Hytham is just the friendly neighborhood assassin guy who looks into suspected targets, and Eivor pitches in because the Order was a common enemy; Sigurd came to England to seize land and power for himself, not to free the place of corrupt authorities. Basim straight up has his own agenda. The conflicts of AC Valhalla's overarching narrative have far less to do with the freedom and control debate and is far more just because Odin was a dick. And other random political funny business around the island that would honestly be better off as side content because boy this game is way too long.
@@natchu96 yeah it’s true every Assassin Brotherhood tends to have their own different traditions. Mostly what Hidden Blades they use:
China: Shoe Blade
India: Trident Blade
Turkish: Hook Blade
French: Phantom Blade
British: Rope Launcher?
Modern Day: Taser Blade (What Shaun uses from Syndicate)
Also in the Case of AC Valhalla tried to much to appease both sides for Hardcore AC Fans & RPG Players. And the Story is undeniably too long which has No Replay Value (Stings more due to No NEW GAME Plus).
Seriously, Valhalla could’ve been the Next Black Flag how the Viking Life is ruining Eivor’s Life such as Stealing Riches, Killing for Glory, & Eventually Betrayal. Very similar what Edward has to Deal with in his Character Arc.
In the End of Valhalla Eivor no longer believes in the Norse Mythology and doesn’t become an Assassin? This may disappoint everyone because of that result, but maybe it’s because Eivor still has a Clan to take care of.
love the videos bro u needa make more batman arkham content . but keep up the work much love ❤
We need more of this 🙏🏻🙌🏻
Well the thing that I noticed about that last assassination was that even if you dragged the guy into the bushes you would have probably been spotted anyway as you can see you assassinated him when the other guard was already looking in your direction, at 11:40 and 11:45.
Loved the cosplay humor. Only way I could try to finish this game maybe
Haha thank you! May peace and safety be upon you brother.
@@masterassassin791 Grazie amico mio 🦅
I don't understand why people complain about Stealth in the newer games. I've done entire playthroughs as a Stealth-only character, and it worked great. Yeah I got spotted and had to fight a few times, but that happened in the old games too.
people look at those old games as if theyre made of gold, they ignore the horrible combat, the squirrelly controls, and the boring tailing missions.
Because it's called assassin's creed and you rarely feel like an assassin in the newer games except origin.
@@user-ig3oq7ty7m I feel assassiny in all 3 of the RPG games.
Okay I enjoy Valhalla and the newer games but dont hate on tailing missions lmao. Its fun when you know what youre doing@@jetscream8080
@@jetscream8080 because the combat wasn't bad, the controls had issues but were mostly working when you understood them, and tailing missions were only a major problem in AC 4
You can like the newer games but the need to attack the older games in bad faith doesn't reflect well on the newer rpg creeds.
Have you ever done a review for the short film, Assassin’s Creed Lineage? If not you should, the film felt very nostalgic upon rewatching.
you should do an assassins creed ranking. We would love to know your opinion
you can be stealth for a good part of the non story events if you're just VERY patient because of how massive this game is, which isn't necessarily a compliment
Need more videos like this and you calling eivor ezio and telling us story like that was hilarious 😂😂
istg i cannot get through this video with a straight face, entertaining asf lmao. This was amazing
I love your content. My favorite youtuber!
Thank you so much that means a lot!
@@masterassassin791 No problem man 👍🏼
I'm pretty much enjoying this game rn. There are many things i like about this game, the stealth works sometimes and sometimes it's just so annoying...
It seems like the NPC's have an eye at the back of their head 💀
The stealth for me has always been my strong suit in the ac games so it wasn’t much of a transition from ac revelations to Valhalla
I think people give this game way to much hate, playing the game it’s easily the most fun I’ve had since Black Flag and there’s plenty of times that you can be sneaky. You just have to think outside of the box like a proper assassin would
I loved that music at the end, parting glass is a great song.
Realism isn’t always the best way to go. Like with black flag, should they notice me poking my head out of the bush and not just walk over for me to stab em? Yes. But does it make it so stealth is actually possible? Defintely. The least they could do is add stalking zones close enough to let you be stealthy! After Unity, Stealth basically becomes nearly impossible. Syndicate has some good levels, but games before it had a way for you to stealth every mission that could be stealthed (obviously like, if your mission is chasing someone or sinking a ship you can’t rlly stealth that
Genuinely love the new video style
You are one of the best people in the world.
I came to this because I am curious about Valhalla which I won't play as I think it worsened what was already in Assassin Odyssey which totally disregarded the power of reasearching and rendering into a game and co creative community the classical sources power and more, and also came here to see if there was still hope for Valhalla.
I loved when you say in the first 2 minutes "And I am finally given control" this thing of control is such a trivial thing as much as trivial it is crucial to why videogames and not just video games are so much appealing. Control (the illusion of it).
Yes, for the permadeath, cinematic, hyper realistic mindset (I have as an intepreter player) do not play Odyssey and Valhalla I guess, at all with hard difficulty, actually play without that damage sponginess NON SENSE.
One hugely missing thing in games is suggestions or show of HOW TO PLAY the game, and how to set things to achieve specific experiences. This is something I suggest you or anyone stealing ideas in your comments to DO because people have no time and this would be such a good service still so few people do.
I am a No HUD player in general or in general hyper realism (if context allows HUD of course I use it, or the context I like to over impose on the game) and I know how much it's hard to create realistic or immersive experinece as all play stuff as vanilla or just for spending some spare time in front of a screen...
Love this kind of funny videos where you get mad hahaha
Keep going with this man, you made my day ;)
Did you noticed that while wearing the AC 2 ezio outfit in valhalla ur hidden blade is non existant? I mean it has no animation of the blade moving in or out
One thing mirage has taught me is i can play valhalla in the same way
can you rank each protagonists outfit
Ah my brother. We are the master and lord of assassins
I love how u named everybody like the characters in brotherhood
Looked at the title, looked at the length of the video length, was shocked to the core 😂
Love your video, man, and keep up the great work
Dude I know that's the parting glass, but that's like my favorite version I've ever heard. Who sings this one? Or is it from some movie that I've never seen?
I'm asking myself that same question
This video was genuinely jokes, really funny
Rest in peace Eivezio. If only that guy didn’t sit down
gotta love being spotted through a wall from a guard 50 miles away
Questions:
can be those silly outlines on NPC etc be removed completely?
What is the difficulty to make the hits on enemies and even on your realistic (so 1-2 arrows = death, 1 hit or 2 = the end)?
Can those silly "Runic" effect seen by bosses, be removed? Those strange mystic clouds on heavy attacks etc?
To play the game realistically...
Also that glowing "under cover" effect on you and social stealth can be removed? if not by the game by Mods?
Regarding the lack of game design (animation here).. maybe it can be solved or you should share a realistic solution for it: maybe whistle in range that doesn't affect others but the closest target and then take care of that. Still I think this is another flow of this game.
I clicked on this video to see how Master Assassin could turn 2 minutes into over 10 lol
I love vahalla its one of my favorite games in the franchise
Love the ac 4 end music 🙂
The game is not stealth based. I tried to do stealth when I do a raid or free roaming but doesn't feel like I'm an actual assassin and why i get the walking dead vibes at 12:46
1:50 the "oh hey mom. Bye mom" made me spit out my tea... fk... XD
Btw you can skip the highlighting every skill thing by going to a different tab in the menu then going back to the skill menu😁
Damn that parting glass caught me off guard I’ll be back gonna go replay black flag
When it does that skill tree thing the first time you open it up you can exit the pause menu all together and it will stop.
I need to know who performs this version of The Parting Glass, it's goddamn perfect
I swear the scripted tutorial bossfight on nightmare is harder than all the dark souls games together
“I am no longer eivor but...the Walmart ezio”
I’m dead😆
ngl, without having played this game ever, this looks kinda fun
Great Content as Always
Walmart Ezio🤣 I'm dying😂😂😂
Stealth in ac valhalla is hard and sometimes unfair but is doable. I find It so much more satisfying than other ac when things go the way you planned.
It’s sad that in an ac game a pure stealth run isn’t a rewarding challenge but a complete impossibly
5:00 ahahaha this legend love you 😂😂❤
Me:goes to the viking board game and teleports out and has stealth even if your in front of an enemy
eivor wearing ezio's outfit is an insult to ezio
Assassin's creed Valhalla is really a difficult game. That's one of the best points of Valhalla.
had this on in the background and I had no idea if it was AC Valhalla or AC Ezio Trilogy
10:08 as soon as he said pause I thought he is gonna say : this video is sponsored by RAID SHADOW LEGENDS 💀
You should do this with Unity
Ngl I was expecting you to immediately get spotted by an npc that was 50 meters away from you and through several walls, as per the typical Valhalla experience
Man I like your voice really fits the faceless youtuber
Will you do a full gameplay walk through for the Whicher 3 with the dlc's
I guess it's difficult and all but it still embodies at least a little bit of what the classic style of ac is
tips: if youre on pc, being stuck in the haystack usually is because of toggling the walk, you can get out until you have to be on jogging state again
pretty dumb design i know lmao (also dont get me started with how they cant provide a hold sprint ffs, people on reddit even defending the idea that its not good to have that OPTION)
ok rant end
"How long can I play Valhalla AC without being spotted"
The video, *a picture*
8:09 And, are you gonna explain what's wrong with the physics here, or no?
I really like ac Valhalla’s stealth so much more than odyssey, although the combat system is unmatched
Using the song from AC 4 was perfect fitting at the end of this 😂
Parting glass from ac4 is acc so good😭😭
The problem with complaining about tailing missions, is not making the difference between tailing an enemy and following a friendly. I haven't played a tailing mission that annoyed me, but I've never not been annoyed when you have to follow someone while you talk to them.
That song at the end got me tearing up thinking about how good AC Black Flag was…… nd compared to AC Valhalla… there’s no question AC BF was the best non assassin assassins creed game…..
Great video mate 👍
can ya do that whit origins
4:55 just close the menu and reopen it
Can you do next Origins or Odyssey
I started the game with Nightmare difficulty.
Then i ended up with normal
make this into a series, please
and do play AC Black Flag as its pilot episode 😂
Pretty sure you can back out of the menu for the skill tree thing where it slowly reveals all of them and it skips it
Valhalla with no weapons besides a bow and instant kill assassinations is peak
Stealth in Valhalla is like combat in splinter cell, it’s there, but wouldn’t suggest it
Why not?
When are you gonna do a Connor vs Shay or will you redo the Assassin's Creed Vengeance story because there are some things you might need to fix with the story, some stuff you should have also done in that story is; since Shay had a son who I think is named Liam Monro Cormac (Obviously named after Shays assassin friend Liam and his Templar mentor Colonel Monro) at the start of the French Revolution and I think sometime while Shay was an assassin he hooked up with a native girl and had a native American son I think Shay never knew existed and he had a Grandson Cudgel Cormac who was born probably sometime at the end of the Revolution which actually in history the revolution actually ended around 1800 and also cos of the start of the revolution, when Shay had Liam with his newly met wife they were forced to stay in France for four years and than they moved to America which during that time Connor and Aveline would have had time in four years to form a small perhaps but sturdy force of Assassins and since this story is in 1800 and so on, the revolution would be done so Arno wouldn't really be fighting in the revolution anymore, you should have brought Liam and Cudgel involved in this story too since Shay has trained his son and a bit with his grandson at a young age, Cudgel can't die in this story though cos he makes appearance in one of the AC Last Descendant novels set in early 1860s New York and since this story is set in 1800 and so, Connor is still alive after 1800 and had a daughter and two sons, he wasn't suppose to die in this story cos now the ending doesn't really make much sense, so I think maybe you could redo of this story with those new aspects in it to make it more sense, canon and interesting still, maybe later on down the line you'll do that but that's your choice
I like this idé you should continue with this series
Wow, this Challenge in a AC game with like zero stealth...
Your commentary makes this video very funny
