- The title is pretty self-explanatory. In this video I'm starting a new game of Assassin's Creed Valhalla on nightmare difficulty and will try to survive as long as possible. Once I die the video ends. Honestly tho, Valhalla is pretty fun for the first 15 hours.
The problem comes when you realize the whole game is that 15 hours over and over and over and over and over again.

Taming animals, recruiting, naval battles, and yes the scenery 😳 but i must say ezio trilogy ambience was much better the thing i liked in valhalla is the instant assassination and blending in the crowd is back. I wish the hireable mercs, thieves and romanies will come back someday

We reached the point where we are surprised to see an assassin in Assassin's Creed.
I remember I enjoyed a lot that fight 3:03 and also the one near the iced falls. They were very difficult especially if at the beginning you had only one potion (instead of 6). Basically they had been the only two way I died in the entire game. If we obtain a new game + I'll definitely do that with only one potion. Skills will have a better impact then
I like these types of videos! Maybe you should do more of them where you do gameplay with live voice over. Of course, you can do it in variety, so it's not only gameplay videos.

Yes for sure. I cleared the entire map & beat the story etc and I’m still angry I wasted so much time on some of those dumb mysteries

I did everything this game has to offer along with DLCs (I even did those little treasures and boring river raids) and it took me 215 hours but well, I would lie If I told you that I had fun the entire game. Some of those side activities got frustrating and boring really quickly, raids were annoying because there were some chests that could be opened with a companion and they sometimes couldn't come in because they were stuck or something. Destroying the curse or stacking the stones for the 100th time was just tiring and DLCs (Apart from Dawn of Ragnarok, I loved it) were also boring and half-assed. They were basically about the same thing that the main story was about, so conquering Ireland or France. I still continued to do 100% because I did it in Odyssey and decided to do the same with Valhalla but man, Odyssey was much more enjoyable in this regard. I finished Odyssey on 100% in 140 hours and still was eager to play more. When I finished The Last Episode in Valhalla, I was so relieved that after so many hours I could finally uninstall this game and have this feeling that I did everything there.

2:28 a good tip to skip that bit quickly is to go to inventory and switch back and it should have done it all.

I think I got about halfway through Valhalla,saw what was left and just couldn't be bothered anymore.I really can't remember the last time I played a Ubisoft game and wasn't bored to death

I just finished the main story of Valhalla (quite new to AC, I only played with Syndicate, which we bought when it came out - so not really new? -, but I finished it a few weeks ago (don't ask me, i don't understand it either??), but I loved it though). Now I'm struggling with the levels. Doing side quests to reach 340 and finish England, but God, when will it end?... Then I really want to start Origins. I watched gameplays and also your videos and heavens, I just want to start it already. And also, next year I learn history on high level, so Origins and Odyssey even comes handy to get the vibe🙇🏽♀️

Vahalla is one of the best in the franchise I put 100 hours in this game and played the two first story dlcs and I loved both

I have a feeling either aesir difficulty has been changed since this video was made, or this wasn't done on true aesir. Because I've been doing an aesir playtrhough recently. Even with the highest level gear you can get in the prologue (excluding divine gear from the store) even the lowliest low grunt one/two taps you, let alone bosses like Kjotve or the woe bringer from the very intro bit. That soe bringer just insta tapped me over and over again. Teleporting and hitting with insane speed

Is this game actually bad or do people just don't like it because it changed the AC game style? Cause it looks pretty awesome to me, despite "not being" an Assassin's Creed game.
Mostly change of game style is what people are mad about and how it doesnt relate to ac much but another big factor is its repetitive however if your thinking about buying id suggest getting it on sale its a good game just not 60$ worth
I did it on 100% but gotta Admit that Valhalla was the most repetitive one out of this RPG trilogy. The world felt boring after a while, side activities were fun for maybe first 15-20 hours but then got tiring and frustrating and I think they went too far with those fantasy things like Eivor being the reincarnation of Odin and reliving the Asgard stories. It just didn't fit Assassin's Creed game. Odyssey had those Greek mythology worlds like Hades and such but they were ONLY in DLC, not in the main game.
Video idea: surviving 100 day in any ac game the days can be 24 minutes

Something oddly nostalgic about the inside yelling.
Playing Valhalla really makes me appreciate Origins more. How can they come up with a brilliant idea and then just screw up everything? The combat, world design, quests, storyline, everything got downgrade. Somehow all those deserts in Origins feel more interesting to discover than the whole regions of Valhalla. Bayek really deserve a sequel as his saga continue, maybe reach the same level as Ezio story. You still feel like you're a assassin in Origins instead of being a half-god person like Evior who is such a bland character. And with that new dlc, it's such a shame of Ubisoft to keep ruining the AC title. They really mess up with every franchises, Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon, etc. All those new games make you feel like you need to complete it rather than enjoying it. But what can I say, as long as there're players who spend money on the in-game store then Ubisoft will still follow this path
About the locations, I think it's more due to Egypt being such a unique and beautiful place, kinda mysterious and mystic in a way while the middle-age England and Norway are kinda bland and normal in comparison. The ancient Greece in Odyssey was also much more enjoyable to explore. When I played Valhalla, I had no real interest of specific places, I would just go to clear out a location and go to another. In Odyssey though everything feels interesting. I'm replaying it now and this time I decided not to do it on 100% but still sometimes I do all those question marks on my way to the main mission out of curiosity what I can find there.

I loved the crit kills… for the first hour.. than I realized every enemy only has the same crit kill and every weapon only has like 3-4 special kills

Do me this video would be hours long because of my Armour I have the fallen hero’s set all pieces fully upgraded I mean like mythical and 10 out of 10 upgrade slots filled now while on the surface it seems like it provides a bit less armour than the Thor set it all comes down to the special effects of this armour because the first speacil effect Is give 10% more armour 15% more melee damage 15% more ranged damage this makes it straight up have mor armour than the Thor set while also giving you a boost to your damage but the second affect is even better because it knocks enemy’s to the ground when THEY hit TOU if they’re in range of you after 2 or 3 seconds and it does a lot of damage and affects all enemy’s in the vicinity making it my opinion the best armour set
Hey, this game would be way easier if everything would be realistic like shooting a bow into someone’s head would kill someone immediately hitting someone with a shield in the head might cause them to get knocked out and hitting a person with a axe to the head will kill them hitting a person with a sword to the head will kill them hitting a person with a hammer to the head. I don’t know if they used hammers, but you know like something, kind of like a hammer. I’m pretty sure they used something like that I don’t know but if they did then that would kill a human.

For real, when I first got the game I chose female Eivor but after 20 hours I just could no longer stand her terrible voice acting, so I restarted the game but with male Eivor, it still blows my mind that they chose female Eivor to be canon lol.
