This game had the best protagonist since Ezio and Edward, best open world and side content since Black Flag, best DLCs of the franchise and best melee as well as ranged weapon archetypes.
So you like the 3 stereotypical "favourites." Get a personality of your own mate. Also, if you like Edward and ezio, you got no business disliking Arno and Jacob. But I'm sure the boring hypocritical nerd within you will find a way.
@N0BODY than are you even really an assassin's creed fan? I mean really? You didn't play any of the Desmond story apart from the start. You barely scratched the surface of ezio's story. You didn't finish altier's story, and you haven't gone through the storylines of Connor, Edward, shay, arno, Jacob, or the modern day plot after Desmond.
@@chrismoore5333 I did play them just not finished them so i looked up how some of them finished, i still have the story beats just not the will to finish some of these games because i didnt enjoy them as much
One thing that bothered me going from Origins to Valhalla, is that Ubisoft somehow “forgot” that you are playing inside the animus, a high tech science fiction machine…so why did they progressively design UI/UX as if we’re playing generic open world RPG, with almost no traces of being inside the Animus? Origins clearly has menus designed around this, so how come by the time we get to Valhalla, it’s just kinda thrown to the wayside…I mean, Odyssey didn’t even have loading corridors. I hope they bring back that feeling in Mirage, but I don’t trust Ubisoft to consider that anymore.
In Origins you feel the impact of weapons (probably thanks to the enemies not being that much spongey, even on Nightmare), in Odyssey I didn't felt the power of my attacks (only on easy difficulty), not even the abilities. Origins is my favourite AC and it will probably stay like that for a long time.
Holy smokes i just got done doing a one life hardest difficulty ac origins after exactly 367 attempts finished it and went to see if anyone else had done or tried it before and here we are. Loved the vid man and would love to see you try it again cause omg it gets Elden ring hard especially in the Colosseum part of the game that single handedly killed 60 of my runs at least. Anyway great vid and keep it up!
Origins is one of my favourite AC games, it just has so much to offer. And it has a good story of the beginning of the brotherhood, it has a fitting place in the AC story, unlike Odyssey and Valhalla. I actually made it without being desyncronised until I took a side quest after I defeated the Crocodile. And it was my first time playing Origins. It wasn't on nightmare tho, cus who would play on nightmare when playing the game for the first time
I mostly play on easy, because IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE PUTTING 3 MILLION ARROWS IN SOMEONES HEAD. For me 1 arrow to the head means death, an assassination means death. That's why I adjust the difficulty. But on Odyssey it often isn't enough to instant kill because of the fckd up level system.
@GijzzzBlackEyedPeas lol no it doesn't, simply have a bow that's of level, either hunter or predator and you will one shot most enemies in the head on the highest difficulty 🤣🤣
@John Valhalla I understand your reasoning but not Odyssey. The only lore in that is the Isu at the end. Other than that you are literally playing a simulation about Demigods with supernatural powers. And nit to mention this game took 500 years before the Birth of the hidden ones which makes it unrelated to the Assassin's Creed to begin with. There are Assassin's in Valhalla... you just don't play as them. But it wraps around lore regarding Basim, that what saved Valhalla
You are a true gamer and as a true gamer I would like to suggest you to play Metro Exodus and Metro Redux etc. The shooting mechanics are awesome & tell me whether you had played it, if not please do.
Origins is an amazing looking and sounding game I just wish they kept ac black flag combat style in this game since it would have been perfect lots of stealth but also really smooth open combat
@@ninjavox365 nah bro this guy is just saying what you said but apart from all the bs it’s straight to the point and honestly I respect that so I’m going to have to disagree with you there
Origins is still my favourite of the RPG creeds even if you count Unity and in my top 3 AC Games. I Adore Origins for its story and what added to the AC lore, it's gorgeous open world and faithful recreation of ancient Egypt/Siwa, incredible soundtrack and innovative and engaging combat/skill tree system.
If you ever decide to do a live stream for this game I will be first to start watching. This game is class has more to the parkour than people let on in this game. Couple of fun tips that I don't see anyone using in their gameplay. But if you press X/A when your about to land you will do a roll and reduce damage and did you know when hiding hay or an equivalent that you can pop your head out and use your bow for some extra stealth options all you have to do is hold the aim button
Yes when I first found out that I could use my bow while in a haystack I became so happy. I could never let go of Origins when playing, but now I'm playing Odyssey and it doesn't lure me that much.
@John Marston nowadays it’s used to describe someone doing something a video game “non-playable character” would do. i was doing exactly that, don’t come here acting smart.
The only problem I had with Origins is that combat gets repetitive very fast... In Odyssey and Valhalla at least you have abilities to choose from, here you only have the weapon art 😕
it would be so interesting if they made one in the samurai age of Japan it would be like AC rouge because it’s against the Samurai honor code to kill your enemy without face to face honorable combat (aka you are not supposed to assassinate as a samurai) so it would be crazy to be a samurai assassin going up against the samurai order and the shogun.
maybe it's because of the game mode you chose that your assassinate kills are instant so long as your on nightmare difficulty and aren't detected? that's my guess anyway.
1:41 Awesome way to use a mask. You're not playing this on a controller? How? I thought you used a hidden blade in this game. That's before the 5th century. Gets killed. NOOOO!

Maybe it's just the souls player in me, but I hate the lock on system in the RPG games. It's so finicky that I never use it. I feel like the combat flows really well when you don't lock on, more lively and realistic.
the ruined tomb/temple exploration just feels...more authentic in this game than its sequels, you know? Like those places were definitely ancient even in Bayek's time, and Bayek does have a bit of a thing for historical/religious lore. Doesn't really feel like it fits the mercenary/raider attitude to go ruin delving. That and they somehow made the torch flame look worse between games. Like idk what to say, it feels like something Origins was meant to have by design but later on is only really there because Origins had it and they couldn't be bothered to reinvent more fitting content.
As someone whose favorite mechanic in AC is exploring the Assassin tombs in AC 2 that became a recurring mechanic in several other games personally never had a major problem with exploring a crypt as Kassandra or exploring the Assassin Den as Eivor it just was another variation of one of my favorite mechanics introduced in AC 2. I will say my main gripe is the complexity of the designs of exploring ruins did feel rather lazy in Odyssey and Valhalla as they just didnt have the same feel and excitement as exploring the Assassin Tombs, or the Lairs of Romulus, or the Underground in AC 3 and I feel that is because they are for the most part relatively simple to solve.
Easier difficulties are for kittens. Nightmare is for me. I want the struggle and the pain. I want to wake up in the shivers in the middle of the night.
My favorite AC game (even tho I've only played Revalations, 2, Odyssey and Valhalla). The Ancient Egyptian theme and setting sold it for me. Has more appealing gameplay to me, as well
