    Your plants are beautiful!!!!!!! I recently bought a Hawaiian Hibiscus plant. It is just like your bright pink/red one. It is growing and had TONS of buds. However, our temperatures started getting very cold at night. So when I just checked on it, 8 different buds snapped right off. A clean cut like someone cut it with shears. 😭 I think I am going to take it inside to try and get the blooms back. Inspected for bugs, no bugs nor evidence of bugs, I water it every evening, well drained pot, it is placed in the sunlight, I used slow release fertilizer mixed in with Potting soil mix, etc. So it must be from our cold evenings we started having.

    Thanks!

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  4 года назад +1

      @Iluv2 Sew2, Most welcome! Yeah, I am aware of those issues and we normally don't get any trouble as temp doesn't not go too down even it's winter. For root pruning, you can do it in March as I believe, you can see some changes in the plants at the time (just after the winter). For pruning branch, you can do at anytime during the growth (Summer) and it would look much bushier. I hope, I have answered your question but if you have any, plz let me know. Thank you :-)
