Thanks for another informative video. This one is Spathoglotttis or ground orchid. They generally do well in regular soil as well, provided soil is well draining and bulbs are above soil level.

That is a ground orchid. We have them growing and blooming for 8 years without any problems on the ground with partial sun. They are not epiphytic...

Also, as mentioned in the video, they do not take nutrients from the plant they grow on

Is the pumice stone same as the one used for pedicures?
My orchid plant leaves have black spots in some of the leaves. Some leaves have turned yellow. Should I cut off the leaves or leave as it is? What is the remedy for this? When I water on alternate days, I not only pour onto the potting medium but spray water underneath (root development) and also the sides of the planter. Am I watering too much?
Try some fungicide like SAAF/Indofil.

The charcoal acts as fertilizer
Try some Nitrogen rich fertilizer in ratio 30:10:10 for plant growth. Select one which has added micronutrients. Alternatively try seaweed solution as well.

Your knowledge about orchid is not there. Please dont misguide. You never use this kind of orchids with aireal roots. This is a ground orchid. Most orchid lovers do not even grow this. Juse because everyone talks about orchid, its not necessary to make a video around that. Tame different varieties of orchid for 3+ years first, get some experience, then talk about it.
