Fucking truth. Even without an Xbox, Xbox cloud has a decent enough library to justify the price. I’m the type to switch between games and being able to play on pc and mobile is a game changer.
@@angelopebs he’s talking about buying a one month new user code every month, so you’d have to keep making accounts. Just buy up to 3 years gold then pay $1 to upgrade to Ultimate. I just did this and it was less than $65 for a full year of Game pass ult.
I have both Series S and X and gotta say... the S is so worth it! i originally bought mine in January 2021 through the pandamic, upgrading from the original Xbox ONE with the power brick. the S is truly remarkable how well it plays games wether its the frame rate or graphics. Even if you don't have a 4k tv or monitor, trust me you'll immediately notice a massive difference in quality when compared to the xbox one. Think anyone who's played the fora horizon games know that on the xbox one, the horizon games have ridiculously long loading times. I remember loading up Forza horizon 4 when I got the console and immediately saw that it loaded the game within literal seconds! 😅 also played games with a smooth 60 fps when compared to the mid 20s - 30 Fps on the previous gen. 100% recommend the Series S.
@@tintucgame5772 you gotta buy an External Storage Unit, like an HDD and connect it to the xbox. Only way to get huge amount of storage on the xbox series S
Yes. Since most developers are still focusing on last gen consoles still cause current consoles aren’t available as they thought, it still works fine plus if you have xbox game pass its really worth it.
The only bad part is that, if instead of Series S/X Enhancements, a last gen game has XBOX ONE X improvements you'll pay the base Xbox One version of that game in Series S. The XBOX ONE X version improvements aren't enabled on the Series S.
I bought a Gaming PC as a way into the next gen. Then I continued to favour the PS4. But... I like playing for platinum trophies. If you are interested in what Xbox has to offer go for it. If you just want to bridge the gap, hold out, get PS4 games with free PS5 upgrades like Elden ring, Doom Eternal, Metro Exodus, Hades, Control, ect, ect. There are very few exclusively next gen games on the PS and Xbox.
I ended up buying the Xbox Series S , it was pretty worth it , as a gamer who spends most of their time playing , it’s a huge difference from PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S which I have both , personally me I would pick the Xbox since it feels better with gaming and a good monitor/ tv that supports 4K 120 fps
I just upgraded from the One X to the Series S, and aside from the storage, I think it's a great upgrade. The switch in fidelity is more than made up by MUCH faster load time, increased frame rates and some of the new graphical tricks that the S can do. I don't own too many physical games anymore and own close to 100 of them digitally, so the loss of the drive wasn't a big deal at all, at least for me as I never really used the drive much anyways. I've got a pack mule drive for extra storage that I just switch games back and forth and all is well. Great system!
Man, I picked up a used Xbox Series S earlier today from my local game store and it is truly great. I’m a Sony fan and have been since the original PS1. However, I did really like the original Xbox and the Xbox 360. Never played the Xbox One. I was fully prepared to fork over $600 for a PS5, but they simply aren’t available anywhere. When I eventually decided I wanted a dedicated console for my bedroom I discovered the Series S. I really didn’t even know it existed but now I totally get the concept of the S vs. X. Basically, if you’re a casual gamer and just want the ability to play console games from the comfort of your bed from time to time (like me) buy this, right now, don’t even think about it. Oddly enough, this console kind of reminds me of the gamecube in the fact that Microsoft managed to pack a powerful punch in a small package. Great product design decision by Microsoft. This may be the last traditional (non-vr) console generation and it feels like an ode to the last 25 years of gaming. You get access to the entire Rare catalogue minus the Donkey Kong Games. The only thing that pisses me off is that you can’t even purchase some of the old Forza games anymore, and some of the games are only sold as a package deal. Just let me buy the game. But again, I’m really impressed with the performance of the Xbox Series S for the price. It’s super snappy even with the new gen. Games. Load times are almost non-existent. It plays old gen games really well, and it works great as a streaming platform. I notice that when streaming via my xbox the interface is much snappier than when using my smart TV.
I definitely think it is worth it, I bought one about a month ago and love the little console. I wanted to get a PS5, but was having trouble finding one, and decided to try Xbox. I can honestly say I have used it more than any of my other consoles, probably even more than when I was a kid. I am 32 and have bills to pay, so it seemed worth trying the cheaper console with the game pass, and I am stunned how good the console is, just for £249. I have bought a few games that were on sale too, and I am really impressed, I prefer the controller to the PS4's, and it doesn't sound like a jet taking off like my PS4. I see you can use Retro Arch with no developer mode now as well, so will be installing that later to play games from my youth.
It's so good for people that may not have a lot of disposable income, or may not need the full capabilities of the x and just wants something to play the games.
@@jimboc669 To be fair I fall into that category as well, I don't have a 4K TV yet and have my bills for the house. It allows me to keep playing new releases without breaking the bank. Eventually I will save for a better TV, and may well get the Series X or PS5, but for now it is a great console.
@@Fresh.Travels I have GTA V(xbox one version), MGSV (the phantom pain and ground zeroes so two games), Grid legends, Fortnite, fall guys, resident evil 7, and Tetris effect.I still have over 84GB free. Its enough to have a library to switch between, then when you need too either move to external drive or delete and re download. I use a 1080P TV but it looks fine on my friends 4K TV.
It’s absolutely worth it. I bought a used one for 230. Game pass for 1 dollar … it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. I haven’t even picked up my ps5
Series S is great & quite affordable if one is willing to attach Expansion Storage HDD over SSD. The GamePass is of best value not only for Casual gamers but for Hardcore Gamers as well.
Had an Xbox series X for almost 2 years now. Just bought a Series S as well and I'm shocked at how strong this tiny thing is. I played Rise of the Tomb Raider and if someone told me that what I was playing was Series X gameplay I would have believed them. At $300 this thing puts out a lot of power.
Thank you some people on here don't even call it next gen I was telling them the Series X is only slightly better with framerate and memory but the graphics are literally the same it just doesn't run native 4k
Genuinely excited to receive my Series S that I ordered earlier this week. I'm a PS5 user and enjoy that console for the exclusives but Gamepass has some gems I just can't ignore. Looking forward to getting stuck into the Series S and seeing what the junior next gen console is capable of.
Yeah I have a ps5 also but recently started playing my old Xbox for gamepass , But these load times are a lot longer compared to the PlayStation. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the series s was ONLY 299 on the Xbox store. I’m definitely thinking about it
I purchased a Xbox series S 2nd hand but untouched for £150 off ebay. I set it up next to my son's ps5, used the same monitor, couldn't really tell any difference. Then my younger son decided he wanted it. So I decided to get a second Series S ( again brand new £150 ect) and hopfully i could use this one. Having two is great 👍 for Fortnight , SeaofT ect.
As a casual gamer, the S is perfect for me. Paid $230 for a used console and I have enjoyed it with Game Pass. I don’t care about the difference between the graphics difference between the s and x. I have an external storage and moving it into the internal hard drive is quick. $230 price to play all of the “next gen” games is awesome.
Dont forget it can also emulate a LOT of older consoles extremelly well. I have both X and S, and I love the small factor of the console... great value for the price.
It’s the best option for most people. Readily available, cheap, plays only digital so you don’t have game cases everywhere so forces you to be organized and your tv or computer space is cleaner (resell of Xbox disk games has always been terrible anyways), most people don’t even have the right tv or monitor to play 4K/60 in the proper way, its extremely quiet almost silent while playing demanding games, It’s good for casual players who hop on a few times a week and the SSD handles everything at blazing fast speed, my series s downloads between 300-400 mbps on average.
@@ruben2x dang man yeah mine is pretty good. I think I pay for over 500 mbs from my isp but rarely ever get that high when downloading stuff. My Xbox downloads games faster than my computer does it’s wild. The digital Xbox is impressive.
I love it. I got it because I don’t even play with discs anymore. I prefer digital, I just didn’t feel like paying 250 more for a disc drive (ofc it’s more powerful I get that). Maybe I’m just over estimating the series s. However, it’s a HUGE upgrade on my part since I just upgraded from the original Xbox One (the big boy), so playing on this thing is like night and day and I love it.
I really hope I get the Xbox. I've been struggling a little bit and wanting new gen but being quiet about it to my family just because I don't want to seem pushy. This console seems so cool
@@danditheyesman848 how so? I have a laptop with a 3070, a Oculus quest 2, a switch, a xbox series S and had a PS5 and out of them all I'd say the Xbox is used by far the most of the bunch by my family and I. So much so that I actually sold my PS5 to a buddy who was desperate for one and could not find any because the thing just sat there for months never being used. The series s with game pass is just a absolutely great console not just for gaming but all around home entertainment that can't be beat for 300$. The series X is just not necessary really so save the 200$ and spend it on storage expansion or games etc it's an easy choice.
The storage thing can be fixed pretty easy with a $70 1tb external hard drive. And most games can be played right off the hard drive, even some X/S optimized ones
There's now a 1TB version of the S (also comes in black) available from September 1st 2023. I think despite the little price premium it's even more attractive.
Just purchased one for my son. He has been playing my original Xbox One that's going on 7 years old. He mostly plays Roblox but he has been branching out a little more. Excited to see him open it for his birthday!
I had the Series S before I got a chance to upgrade to the Series X. The series S is a great machine! I loved how small, quiet and good-looking the little machine it is. But, owning a 4k monitor I wanted to get the most out of the games and monitor. So I searched for the Series X. It's pretty insane to think that 2 years after the Series X release you still can't go into a shop and buy the Series X off the shelf. Well, you can, if you're really REALLY lucky. Anyway, fantastic video, Seth. GG!
The X is really only worth it if you have an 4k Monitor. Gameplay wise you have no differences in Performance between s and x if you have no 4k Monitor
LET ME GIVE SOME LIGHT ON THIS SUBJECT! What do 12 teraflops do (Series X) compared to 4 teraflops do (Series S)??? The best way to describe this would be how the end results look on a screen, and not just any screen. If you want to get the best bang for the Series S and take the most advantage of this console, then go for a 1080P 144Hz 24/27 inches gaming monitor, so why do I mention that, well it comes down to native resolution! Since the Series S in its current state is a lot closer to 1080P over 1440P, and running on a 1080P 144Hz gaming monitor, you can now enjoy some games running at 120 Hz! also, since its running at native resolution, the graphics will look tac sharp (like a Series X at 4K), and you don't need a Series X for this kind of setup! At 4K, unless you have a high-end upscaling solution, the Series S may appear a bit more pixilated at 4K (softer), and that is since it is not running at its native resolution. Did you know that 1080P at 24 inches has a pixel density of 92 dots per inch, while a 55-inch 4K TV has 80 dots per inch! In terms of visible pixels, for its size, the 24 inches will look sharper over the 4K at 55 inches! More so, the Series S games are small in size than the Series X games, since they are not using 4K assets! So this is how you make the best out of the Series S, and enjoy 120 Hz playing COD Vanguard without needing a Series X and a TV that has HDMI 2.1, and can imagine the total cost of that! If you do it right, you can enjoy some beautiful image quality for the Series S!
I have heard by connecting an SSD to a CFe to NVMe adapter, you are able to plug the SSD into an Xbox Series S via the expansion card. If this is legit, then you should be able to upgrade the storage without having to break the bank. Also great video very informative, it is interesting that we live in a time when we can't get the technology we need to play the games we love. Even still it's a great time to be a gamer with all the available games there is today.
This pretty good to see you talk about something other than shoes and be knowledgeable.. I'm so use to your shoe videos and your shoe take. Looking forward to more videos like this one.
Buy a Kit with 2 battery packs and the charging stand. Batteries are always charged and it's a clean look for your gaming set-up, I bought an Energizer branded for my XBOX One and the Batteries are still great at holding their charge and battery life. I actually like the ability to change battery on the fly if I forgot to put it on the charger 🤷♂️
I built a gaming PC in 2012 and it ran games well till 2015-16, , then i bought a ps4 slim in 2018 and used it till 2021 before selling it. And recently i bought series S and I have to say that this is the best budget friendly gaming investment I have made till now. I am having a wonderful time experiencing all the old gen , current gen and next gen games with gamepass.
One thing I can say after owning it for 3 years now: very great machine for being the smallest console ever, VERY portable, Great low budget price, and if you have pair this console with a nice looking 1440p gaming monitor in your setup, you pretty much have your own ultimate gaming setup which i have and I absolutely love it! I got the 2TB Seagate expansion SSD as well and it’s amazing!

Fortunately for me, I didn't start looking into the next gen consoles until about a month ago, and it was Series X + 1Tb Seagate for $700 vs Series S + 2Tb for $650. Not exactly apples to apples, as the Series X package brought more performance and the Series S brought a bit more storage, but for me, it was Series X all the way for an extra $50.
@@Zucker1210 fr the 512 gb Seagate storage expansion card cost 205, while I just bought my Xbox Series S with 512 gb for 213. These storage card prices don't make any sense 😭
I don’t think the diff in graphics is that big. My kid owns an s and her boyfriend owns an x and they look more or less identical on a 46inxh 4k screen to my eyes
One big plus for the Xbox series X, that may matter for gamers who have a collection of physical games from previous generations of Xbox, is the backwards compatibility. I feel that's an important thing to mention when comparing the two consoles. Not to take away the spotlight from Series S, it has it's own very well defined place! With GPU prices these days, I'd say it's the better alternative to building an entry level gamin PC. And Game Pass... man, that was a stroke of genius from Microsoft.
I travel quite often and this little guy goes with me everywhere I go. And then on top of that I only had a handful of physical copy games so the shift from physical to all digital didn't hurt as much for me. If you want a console that allows you to game on the go then get it. One negative was that I wish the storage was bigger and I didn't need to spend more money on an expansion card.
The series S itself is awesome especially the size I have a high end 4k tv and it runs beautifully even though it's not really 4k plus you still get ray tracing as well definitely a good console
My PC Gpu died and i wasn't very happy with the prices so i saw the xbox S and decided to buy it. I honestly can't be happier with it. Gamepass has an incredible amount of titles. I always been a Playstation dude before pc but im just in love with my series S
Was the biggest Play Station fan boy for the longest time. Had a ps3, ps4 and played friends ps5. I always felt so bored and tired of it but had no reason to go and spend any money, and I invested so much time and money into their ecosystem I felt it wasn’t justified. Shortcut to going through two ps4s in 5 months I was sick of it. I impulsively bought a Xbox series S and never looked back. I’ve had it for about a few days now and I love it. I love the foot print of it. It’s extremely user friendly and is extremely easy to pick up. For This console being pretty small it runs games extremely well. Almost everything at 60FPS and is so quite I forget it’s on. For 299$ this is an absolute Next gen steal. And considering that consoles come almost every decade this should be bought by anyone looking to dive into the next gen console era. it’s a super success from Microsoft and an absolutely outstanding rebound from the semi success of the Xbox X. Great job Xbox!
I chose the Series X mainly because I do have a healthy collection of physical discs, and I wouldn't have wanted to make an investment in their overpriced storage options. Also, I am a bit discouraged by the fact that HDR is only available in the 4K mode and that there's not a huge selection of titles running in 1440@60fps. I still think the console is enjoyable. Also, it's like a gaming PC. I just couldn't pull the trigger.
You forgot to mention you can also play game pass on your phones and control and play your actual Xbox through your phone. Quick resume is amazing game changer. And if your internet is good enough you don't have to download the games you can just stream them. Save space and still get to play all the games. So as long as your internet is good stream away no need to worry about storage to much unless you want games that aint on game pass. Quick resume messes up a little once in a while but mostly great having 2 games open at once I just jump back and fourth when my friends don't want to play or take a smoke break.
I was just thinking about get a xbox yesterday since I’ve gone about 1 yr without playing any games. Hopefully i win the giveaway to save me some money lol
I am not a huge gamer by any means, but there is one or two recent titles that really interested me so I got series S during a Christmas sale. Its one of the best decisions I ever made. The graphics are stunning, and the games run perfectly, but best of all it was something in my budget that I could afford. I absolutely love it.
I got one for my cousin for christmas. I'm getting one for myself now. Just a casual gammer that's content with an old TV. Should be fun to play games with him and friends
I am thinking about getting a series S and one of the two majors things for me are games and graphics. Both of those check the boxes because I play on switch and thee graphics look absolute godly in comparison to what I'm use to. Also I am a casual gamer and only really need to gave two games on my device since I don't switch games a lot. Thanks for the great review I think this definitely pushes me over the fence on whether or not to buy one.
If your son/daughter likes games, they will love this machine! Im 12, and i got it for christmas last year and i love it. I reccomend gamepass aswell, to give your kid(s) a lot of choices of games to play
I am absolutely pleased and happy with my Xbox s. About a month ago, I decided to take the plunge. I have abandoned, in my PS4. my number one reason was totally disappointed with PlayStation and the release of the PS five or the lack there of. my number two reason is the Xbox exclusive Starfield coming out
My gf and I don't make a ton of money, so we try to live reasonably below our means. Never really felt comfortable spending a ton on gaming, my most recent PC just has a Ryzen 5 5600g in it, its actually decent, but modern triple A gaming is pretty much out of the question. Well this last christmas my gf got me the S and I put gamepass on it and its transformed my favorite hobby for me, absolutely worth it. Never woulda discovered my game of the year (Hi-Fi Rush, seriously try it) without this lol
I watched this video a while when I was browsing around for the next possible console I was going to get. Even bounced around different brands. I have an Xbox360 and few titles that keeps me entertained enough. Fast forward a good few months later, and I finally did it 2 days ago. Got the Xbox Series S as an early xmas gift for myself and man am I glad I did it. This machine is awesome and for a casual gamer its more than perfect for me. Now all I'm planning on is getting myself a 2TB Seagate expansion card and then I'll be building myself a nice collection of classic and new games (Thanks to Xbox gamepass Ultimate). It's all thanks to this video a couple of months back. Money well spent. Thanks!
I got one for my cousin on sale for christmas. I'm thinking I'll get one for myself. Fun way to play with friends and not break the bank. I don't have a 4k TV and I'm in no rush to get one. Feel I'd need to spend hundreds of more dollars to really enjoy a PS5 or X and I'm not a big gammer
The series X shows it's potential with a 4K tv that is larger than most. 50" to 70" and larger. On an average size 4K tv, the series S versus the series X does not have a major noticeable difference. And the series S can play every game the X can play. Just that the series S plays digital only games. But a lot of digital games has extras that the disc version doesn't have.
I got mine yesterday and yes, yes yes. I’ve so far only played sonic unleashed and Roblox on it and even though yes those are pretty basic games I can confirm that the graphic upgrade is insane, as I went from a Xbox one S to series s. The no disc drive isn’t too much off a problem (unless you already have a lot of discs or prefer disc gaming). I think the worst part to me is the storage but however I mostly play Xbox 360 games anyway and the cloud gaming is pretty good, since that’s no storage either it’s just perfect. I honestly don’t think it’s the best for hardcore gamers but for people that want to play a game but not download it or just don’t have enough storage or as I said don’t do hardcore gaming then it’s pretty good. So yes. Series S is very worth it. Everything from its internals, speed and size.
@@jrsalazar24 so I personally prefer cloud gaming when playing casual games however if you’re a hardcore gamer with a lot of games you want to actually download i probs wouldn’t recommend it but you can get the seagate storage expansion at a later time.
@@CraizyMotion oh okay , tbh i would only want like 3-4 games which are fornite , nb2k , and madden maybe cod . Just heard the expansion cards are pretty expensive for the S
@@jrsalazar24 yea if you had that many it’s not gonna be a problem in terms of the storage (except maybe COD since the new ones are like 120+ GB), and yea, they are pretty expensive. However I found out that most random USB sticks seem to work however I wasn’t able to download games with the X/S symbol next to it on it sadly. However games that didn’t have that symbol worked fine so the expensive storage expansion isn’t needed at all tbh.
the S is basically the X without native-4k and ray tracing. most people still stuck at 1080p TV, and ray tracing is not that necessary. if you can afford the X, by all means go for it. otherwise the S worth your every penny
I am on the fence whether to buy this or upgrade my gaming PC. My current PC has an RX480 8gb, an i5-4690 and 16gb of DDR3 RAM. I could buy a brand new Series S for 250€, for the same price I can buy myself a Ryzen CPU a new morherboard and DDR4 RAM, but I would still be stuck with the same GPU. So what do you think would be the better option?
You have to buy a graphics card and run the old CPU to get closer to the S if it can run pcie gen 3 . Something like a 6600xt which will probs put out more fps .
And an important point that everyone always forgets, but another clear pro point for the Series S is that the power consumption is less than half of the power consumption of the Series X and PS5. If the bill comes from the electricity provider, you'll be much happier with the cute little XBox Series S!
Ngl, the one thing that has me not LOVING the Series S is a the combination of the low memory storage capacity and the outrageous costs of the memory cards. Like, for the price of the Series S + 512 GB memory card to bring it up to 1 TB, while still cheaper than the Series X, is still a significant chunk of change, and with how big game files are getting these days those on limited wireless plans probs can't be switching out games too often. That said, with how easily accessible they are, I have been looking at getting one myself, and tbh graphic fidelity is not something I care about all that much (in fact, I could go on a whole rant about how the graphics race has been bad for gaming as a medium), but more about how a game plays. So, that being said, I'll definitely be looking at a Series S!
if you think PC looks better than the series X? well then you can also triple the price too PC at the same cost looks like shit, you can barely even get a decent GPU
I got a Series X for Christmas. My dad just walked into Walmart and found one. I got GamePass, and I’ve been having a blast! I’ve been using a bunch of old discs, and replayed a bunch of old favorites from the 360 days.
Thanks for this! I'm still on my PS4 Pro, because even 2 years later it's extremely hard to find next-gen consoles & gaming PCs are expensive as heck here. I am toying with the idea of getting my first Xbox (S) as a secondary console, as plenty of stock, & it means that I can not only try out new games & play Hellblade 2 etc, but I can play older games which I've never had the chance to play...so am excited to be able to play Red Dead Redemption, the Witcher 2, Dragon Age 1 & 2 for the first time, as well as replaying Fallout & Elder Scrolls games with more mods! :-)

@@mcm4rr For sure! Nice to have both Xbox and PlayStation and then we get a massive variety of games 👏 I've had my S for a week now and replaying Morrowind. The console is whisper-quiet.
I have been a huge PlayStation guy my whole life but I might pick one of these up and play Xbox for the first time. The graphics are good, the size is perfect, and I could play non-crossplay games with my friends and family. I think it will be a good device to use and hold off on getting the PS5 for another year or 2. My only gripe is I do not like asymmetrical controllers whatsoever. Very uncomfortable for me...
I have a PS5 and I'm definitely more of a PlayStation fan. I'm going to get a Series S over the X just for a few games. I've tried to talk myself into getting an X but I just can't justify it as Xbox just doesn't have the exclusives to make me spend $1000 on consoles. If I didn't already have a PS5 I guess I'd go for an X but overall Xbox just doesn't put out enough high quality exclusives. It's hard to believe that to this day they are still hanging onto Halo and Gears. They need to give that up already and really focus on something else.
I'm not a Xbox fan but I recently brought series S because it's my only option to play Gotham Knights. Idc about graphics. The load times are the best thing about next generation consoles.
So dude, question. Will the Series S still be able to play next-gen titles in the future? Is the reason for not allowing previous gen consoles to play future games is because they can't handle the games because of lack of performance? Or is it because everybody only wants to focus on next-gen consoles? Still trying understand how powerful is this little device.
Whoever invented gamepass for Xbox deserves a noble peace prize. That’s what makes the series S a masterpiece for the average gamer.
Fucking truth. Even without an Xbox, Xbox cloud has a decent enough library to justify the price. I’m the type to switch between games and being able to play on pc and mobile is a game changer.

The only bad part is that, if instead of Series S/X Enhancements, a last gen game has XBOX ONE X improvements you'll pay the base Xbox One version of that game in Series S. The XBOX ONE X version improvements aren't enabled on the Series S.
@@DJordydj wait does that apply to series x as well
@@aronwilliams6177 if the game doesn't have Series improvements, but does have XBOX ONE X improvements, those improvements will work in the Series X.
Isn't this "next gen"????
As a PS4 user, I think getting the Series S is a good little bridge into next gen gaming until I can get the PS5
same thing for me and I also wanna play forza 5
I bought a Gaming PC as a way into the next gen.
Then I continued to favour the PS4.
But... I like playing for platinum trophies.
If you are interested in what Xbox has to offer go for it. If you just want to bridge the gap, hold out, get PS4 games with free PS5 upgrades like Elden ring, Doom Eternal, Metro Exodus, Hades, Control, ect, ect.
There are very few exclusively next gen games on the PS and Xbox.
So low key all of us think in the same way 🫡
I ended up buying the Xbox Series S , it was pretty worth it , as a gamer who spends most of their time playing , it’s a huge difference from PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S which I have both , personally me I would pick the Xbox since it feels better with gaming and a good monitor/ tv that supports 4K 120 fps
I did the same thing

Wow, this comment deserves an Oscar 😅

GG!

I'm the same way. Thinking of grabbing the series s. I see there is no disc. Is this true?
I chose the Series X mainly because I do have a healthy collection of physical discs, and I wouldn't have wanted to make an investment in their overpriced storage options. Also, I am a bit discouraged by the fact that HDR is only available in the 4K mode and that there's not a huge selection of titles running in 1440@60fps. I still think the console is enjoyable. Also, it's like a gaming PC. I just couldn't pull the trigger.
I can get maybe 16 games on my Series X before I have to consider deleting. That might be my biggest gripe.
@@zeroturn7091 16 games is decent, but I know what you mean. My whole library is probably about 6-7 TB.

At this point i wouldnt recommend the ps5 ever since the price went up even with the exclusives since they cost 60-90 dollars
Good presentation mate, congrats
The series X shows it's potential with a 4K tv that is larger than most. 50" to 70" and larger. On an average size 4K tv, the series S versus the series X does not have a major noticeable difference. And the series S can play every game the X can play. Just that the series S plays digital only games. But a lot of digital games has extras that the disc version doesn't have.
Just cancelled my Nintendo switch console order and bought Xbox series s for my son for £190, compare to £260 for six years old Nintendo....
Some bro I love my series s I was also kinda sad switching from ps4
How many games can you honestly download on the S , im debating between the S and X
Agreed
And series s upscale to 4k and still looks great not as good as the x. But looks amazing on my 4k Samsung tv
Yes and of course SWEET 1440p Spot is there also, this thing is wild for 299. IF this drops to 150 on Black Friday it would be a blockbuster deal
@@albaniampureana8602 The $299 price is ridiculously cheap considering the controller is worth about $60 🤯
@@albaniampureana8602 it’ll probably be $250. I’m definitely buying it at $199.99
i love my series s. im new to gaming so it’s perfect for me, and it’s affordable which is always a plus
@A B ever heard of game pass pc?
You have to buy a graphics card and run the old CPU to get closer to the S if it can run pcie gen 3 . Something like a 6600xt which will probs put out more fps .
Console has no cheaters
I think the console is the best choice!
And an important point that everyone always forgets, but another clear pro point for the Series S is that the power consumption is less than half of the power consumption of the Series X and PS5. If the bill comes from the electricity provider, you'll be much happier with the cute little XBox Series S!
I would have preferred a Series X digital but maybe I'll get the Series S one of these days.
You won't regret.
That’s nice your doing a giveaway been wanting one and now my chances are up by 5%
I’ll get the Series S to hold me over until the PS5 slim comes out
FACTS! Lmao I’m doing the same I’m not overpaying for a console that in a few years will be cheap
Hello! You can get an external hdd, they are about 100 bucks for 5 tb where i live... (CAD).
if you think PC looks better than the series X? well then you can also triple the price too
PC at the same cost looks like shit, you can barely even get a decent GPU
I got a Series X for Christmas. My dad just walked into Walmart and found one. I got GamePass, and I’ve been having a blast! I’ve been using a bunch of old discs, and replayed a bunch of old favorites from the 360 days.
I gotta get a new xbox next week. Should The normal stores have them. Like Walmart Best Buy target etc?
Did you end up getting an S?
@@CarolinaPride95 Not yet, most likely end of the year.
Stock of all 3 (PS5, Series X & S) seems a lot more stable now, thankfully!
Looking forward to having both PlayStation and Xbox systems, and all the lovely games to add to my huge backlog 😁
@@CarolinaPride95 Edit* Just got one!!! And I was surprised to see them on sale already, so I got mine for $100 cheaper, too woohoo XD
@@ladyfox6705 yeah i just saw it on rollback on walmart for $240 and started watching videos to see if it’s worth it. I’ve been struggling to get a ps5 and i think this would provide a good little bridge to keep me satisfied until i eventually get one, and also at a much lesser price.
@@mcm4rr For sure! Nice to have both Xbox and PlayStation and then we get a massive variety of games 👏
I've had my S for a week now and replaying Morrowind.
Depends on the devs
It IS NEXT GEN CONSOLE.
Yes it has to be able to play all the Same games as the X.
512gb + GAME PASS = WIN WIN
Honestly really excited im getting it today
