Have a ps5 and Series S. I use the S more because of gamepass. Great Day1 games released. Found more backwards compatible games too that I couldn't find on the ps5.

PSA, most games aren't on the disc/have day 1 patches. This means most games will still use your bandwidth to install regardless of whether you bought it digitally or the disc version.

It’s totally worth it. I was always on team green when I chosed a console. Tomorrow my one will be delivered at a price tag of 230€ with 3 months of Gamepass ultimate. I’m really looking forward to play elden ring once again, and prepare my character for the upcoming DLC instead of using my PC. If you have a powerful gaming pc it’s a wonderful second device to use at a different place.
I play my Series X all the time and I really enjoy it, even when I had a PS4 and Xbox One my Xbox was still my main console. I have a PS5 and Switch OLED also and I even play my Switch more than I do my PS5 (might be weird but that’s just me lol) as soon as I get me some more good games for PS5 I’ll be playing that a lot more. I use Xbox game pass core because when I used to use ultimate game pass I mostly played like 3 games off the subscription service and felt I wasn’t taking advantage of it I mostly play online games like Halo multiplayer and Titanfall 2. So I felt like I’d be better off saving me some money and just getting game pass core and I’m not missing game pass ultimate at all, I just go with what’s best for me. 😊
To be honest the series s seems perfect unless you plan on playing on a big tv with 4k capabilities the x would be better. But in 2 more years we should have a new console so i rather wait and upgrade at that point

Get the black one. $50 for 1TB is great compared to having to pay $100+ for an expansion card on the white one. I have the original Series S, even though I do love it I need the expansion card since storage is little.

I recently bought one it's just perfect. It plays games, runs perfectly fine, has a large catalogue of games too. Let's be realistic too, how many people that buy PS5/X actually utilise the 8k gaming from a TV, The "insane power" when most people really just play easy to run games, That's why this console is just perfect. It's purely for gaming and not giving a fuck about spec numbers and just enjoying the fun with or without friends. It's also super portable. Took mine to a house party with 4 controllers, like reliving the Wii Days with my friends.

As a XBox series X owner, I feel the series S holds back developing games for xbox console. Why? Because of Microsoft's policy of games having to be able to run on both systems. This issue was much more noticeable with the release of Baldurs Gate 3. Us series X owners could not enjoy BD3 because the series S version had problems with multiplayer. It took like 1/2 a year of outcry from the xbox community to get Microsoft to negotiate with the publisher such that the game for series S didnt have to be on par with series X. A lot of publishers then went public with not wanting to develop games for XBox because they didnt want to scale back their creation just to fit the series S.
It was only BG3 tho. No other game developers has complained about it and all mayor games has come to Series consoles on time. Beside when BG3 came out there were so many other big games coming out too so nobody even had time to play all at once. Even still today, I havent have time to play BG3... Game Pass has have too many good games to play and more is coming. Maybe when the BG3 finally comes to Gamepass, I will play it.

I have been using the Series S for about 7 months now There have been times when games were lower in resolution 864-900p And I have been waiting to upgrade to the Series X for few reasons 1. Storage 2. Resolution and graphic quality The only thing holding me back from making the move is the form factor Bcz The Series s fits perfectly in my setup… And I love the liitle box ❤
I bought 2 TB external hardrive memory for my Series S for 85€. Console cost for me 200€ with 3 month game pass. So under 300€ I got new gen console with 2.5TB memory :) and graphically it looks really good in my TV. Tiny bit of difference compared to Series X what comes to graphics but so tiny that its hard to see unless u really pay attention and compare them side by side.
Seriously i must be playing different boxes because when ppl say the series s is only missing a little bit graphically compared to series x i honestly wonder what planet there on ... the series s is a very capable console so no slant on it but theres a big difference between the 2 i dont know why reviewers like this talk utta nonsense .... seriously whats the point? Do not buy a series s thinking you'll get an experience like series x in some games its not even kinda close in others the series s holds its own well but still the difference is 100% noticeable... these reviewers are a joke.

Last Christmas I got my son a Series S with an IPS 24" 1080p 144hz e-sports rated gaming monitor. It's quite honestly the overall ideal COD/Warzone/Halo/Destiny competitive FPS setup IMO. The 24" inch screen at 1080p with a 120Hz refresh rate wearing a pair of blue blocking glasses? Is just lushly comfortable, highly efficient, and far less of an eye strain compared to playing an FPS on the living room 50" HDR10 4k 60hz HDTV, which is where his prior SSD upgraded PS4 Pro and maxed out PSVR console rig resides. That 120hz Series S monitor refresh rate? Provides an absolutely crucial competitive edge IMO. My 10 year old mini-me is now clutching wins in COD gun game, and routinely saving his daddy who was previously a legit XGC Halo 2 semi-pro & a closed server multiplayer map tester for COD4 way back in 2006! Really. I have played all the biggest Day One games with it. Every game runs perfectly. And yes memory is small but for 100€ I got 2 TB extra memory. And for new Series S with 3 month gamepass I paid 200€. For 300€ I got ng console with 2,500 GB memory + 3 month gamepass. Great deal.

@@aganbraganca4156 Do you own Series S, it runs fine. It's usually poor optimization like CoD but it ran very poorly on all consoles. The Series S actually helped Baulders Gate with optimization, for lower end hardware such as Handheld PCs.

4k tv requires 4k consoles, otherwise it will not look good. Especially when playing on a big tv

The console supports 1440p 120hz depending on your Tv/ monitor so it should run gta 6 fine. Old gen will definitely not be able to run it tho
@@johancanela06 remember this concole is weaker than one x also it only runs low quailty games at 1440p i doubt gta 6 will run even at 1080p 30fps maybe 900p at medium settings

It plays all the same games on the series S and X. Tell me a game that’s not on the series S but it’s on the series X.

@@aganbraganca4156 Do you own Series S, it runs fine. It's usually poor optimization like CoD but it ran very poorly on all consoles.
The Series S actually helped Baulders Gate with optimization, for lower end hardware such as Handheld PCs.
