The EGV70 is a nice car with a muted style that blends in with traffic. It only comes in white, black, and grey and is indistinguishable from the gas version. For me, the GV60 is so much more exciting. The styling is aggressive and is available in more colors. It also has facial recognition, a very useful feature that, for some reason they're leaving off other Genesis models. Oddly enough, there is more back seat room in the GV60 than the EGV70 even if the EGV70 is bigger, because the wheels are further apart in the GV60, and the EGV70 has the same dimensions as the gas model.
I have the GV70 Electrified. Love it. I like the GV60 as well, except for the silly "Crystal Ball" gear shifter gimmick. Genesis should be luxurious and tastefully styled.
Great to have the options, especially for different generations. Size should be fine on the GV60 for younger buyers who want a more standout crossover with different styling. But the more conventional look of the GV70 Electrified and extra space might be preferable for traditional buyers or those with older kids. GV60 would still be my choice. Genesis is stepping it up!
Hi. Am 67 young and have selected GV 60. A little smaller than GV70, but at least you can fold the rear seats. What arises for two people enormous trunk large
Nice review. I bought a 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige when they first came out, after a year and a half I would buy it again tomorrow. Had the electrified GV70 been available it would have been a tough decision. I've become a Genesis fan but the GV60 is the only model I don't like, different styling that doesn't fit the rest of the models. Starting to see a lot more Genesis' on the road, especially the GV70, great value and beautiful design inside and out.
Why do you Americans NOT have the camera "mirrors" like we do here in Australia, or Europe or Asia ? These electronic mirrors are brilliant in low light or in wet weather , give the best blind spot coverage and of course minimises the wind noise due to its much smaller size. Why don't American models offer this great feature ? Is it because you still haven't embraced the metric system ?
It's not really $5k more. That's just for the prestige model of the GV70. For 2024, the GV60 bumped $2k. So the base GV70 is now cheaper than the 60. You'd just miss out on the nappa leather, the HUD and one or two other small items. I'm still leaning 60 and am going to sign paperwork tomorrow. The slightly larger seating area is better for myself(tall) with carseats. The 70 feels claustraphobic to me with the big dash and high center console
Nice comparison. Does the GV70 have a transmission tunnel hump in the rear seat floor? I like the GV60 for styling and deceptively large interior space compared to it's look.

Makes sense if there are only two of you, get the sportier gv60, fold the rear seats, and have plenty of space

The electrified gv70 is great because it ties in the normal Genesis aesthetics with the electrified version
@@PCsandEVs The same with the electrified G80, beautiful vehicle.
AGREED! You saw that I’ve looked at that one as well right?
Electrified GV70 now since it's out. I would still get the Ioniq 5 tho as it's a lot cheaper.
Agreed, the gv70 electrified is a very great vehicle for the price
I looked at both and went with the Electrified G70. It has faster acceleration and a more luxurious drive.

It is currently illegal with our current highway standard Rules at the moment, to have digital mirrors in place of standard ones.

GV70 seems like a better value.
I wish Hyundai put a bigger battery in the GV70 for additional $5k making it 300miles with AWD.

It has a minor one! Very minor, they chopped into what it normally would have, to try and lower the floor
Is u going to review ioniq 6
I will, when I find a dealer willing to loan me one, to test!
Wiper on GV60 is not needed in my experience
I’ve had some mornings where it definitely would have been nice to have for the morning dew
Because when it rains, he stays in garages 😀
Lucid Gravity will blow these away! Huge frunk!
