When someone is HIV-positive they have a greater risk of getting another sexually transmitted infection such as syphilis. Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Country Director for Zambia Susan Strasser discusses the need to treat HIV-positive people for other STIs, and a recent study completed in Zambia that was effective in changing national health policy.
