Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
Добавлен 2 ноя 2006
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation seeks to prevent pediatric HIV infection and eradicate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs. In the two decades since the Foundation began around a kitchen table, we have emerged as the worldwide leader in the fight against pediatric AIDS. Whether we are working to draw top researchers to the field, creating programs to provide a full range of critically needed prevention and treatment services in developing countries, training tomorrow's leaders in the fight against HIV/AIDS, or advocating for children with policymakers, our programs offer hope for children and families living with HIV. SEVIA: Smarter Screening for Cervical Cancer
Hi it's not HIV, but for pinus not getting strong enough
ALL grown UP yes Robbie amell ❤ Ana Júlia gurimes
Great! EMR is the way to go.
❤
Give me medicine to treat
It's unbelievable how Paul (father) never contracted the disease. It really makes one wonder this whole disease and how it attaches on to someone and some it don't 😕 🤔. Elizabeth was a very brave strong woman to be such a great advocate for this disease may she and daughter fly high
❤❤ great one Sir
Good
What a man!
Everyone hears woman, mother, she, her gave birth and see the pearls and dress and deny what their own mind tells them.
I hate this video even though I like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez I still hate this video
He's a stud
Yes sir
The Repugnicans didn’t fund AIDS research, just as tRump denied the COVID pandemic. Anyone see a pattern here? If you want the problems of most Americans to be addressed, you go to the Democrats, who give a damn about Americans who aren't billionaires. Wake up, America!
Together let us educate people how to protect HIV infection.
I have read Absence of Angels twice and watched interviews with Paul Glaser. Amazing people.
EGPAF, the strongest organization. The pride of PLHIV.
Elizabeth was a beautiful lady on the inside as well as the outside! This was a moving speech she gave!
Im not heavily into the hereafter , but I can’t help believing Elizabeth knows her incredible hard work paid off when it came to saving her son’s life. Jake & his dad Paul like so many others went through so much loss. Paul not only suffered the loss of his amazing partner but the pretty much soul destroying loss of his gorgeous little daughter . Jake has worked so hard to not only deal with it all , but make his mum & dad so proud continuing the work his mum started . Paul still appears to be powering on at the young age of 81. I can’t wait for news of Jake having his own children . What a pair of amazing men & one truely incredible woman ! you can’t help but adore them all.❤
Be blessed you guys, I'm looking forward to join you very soon
I' lake this song molaetsa fela monstrous
4:35 So cute!!! 🥰
2:00 Cute
I remember her from a movie.
R.I.P Elizabeth and Ariel. So much good work to resolve the illness, such a great team. The little girl was so touching and it made me😢 to hear of her losses. So glad that Elizabeth had such loving Friends, and a Husband who you could see was her Soul Mate and Best Friend I wish I had kept the glossy picture I had of Elizabeth and Paul in their early dating times, each in a car and gazing at each orher so fondly from behind the wheel. Sent to me by the Starsky+Hutch fan club of course❤❤
Sadly, Elizabeth Glaser died just 9 months after this interview on December 3, 1994.
Hydeia Broadbent, the black girl at the end of this video, recently passed away a few days ago at 39! She was so brave in speaking publicly about dealing with AIDS starting from a young age!
O yeah I love your shoes hon lol hello Robbie my name is Pat nice to see you with your brother Stephen ❤I am just a country girl lol love y'all

Great Trans woman!
She is cisgender.
In my opinion, there should be a charity organization named after Ryan White dedicated to pediatric AIDS research. Not Elizabeth Glaser!! She was rumored to be an especially hateful woman. Rumor had it that she ACTUALLY got infected through promiscuous sexual activity and not a blood transfusion as well. I don't have HIV (for the record), but that's just my two cents.
What a woman ! It breaks my heart, she could have just fallen apart like I fear I may have having lost a child & she saved her son
Nine months before she passed aways😪
That was so sad for Elizabeth Glaser, very unfair.
😢
Sad
She looks like a man
I'm so glad that medicine has come so far with HIV. People can live and have normal lives, to a huge degree. I wish they had figured this stuff out faster. The Glaser family had a huge part in this with the foundation that Elizabeth Glaser started. So sorry they went through it, but glad that she used it for good.
Elizabeth died later that year(of this interview). Her son Jake is still with us though.
Didn't this also hapoen to Arthur Ashe the tennis player?
This had to be very painful unless your in their shoes you cannot understand. God bless these families
RIP

Thank you, Elizabeth Glaser for this implicite message of hope !!!
