OMG! Finally got this done! This was quite a doozy to work on, especially while I was watching the amazing pilot! A friend of mine also found out that Aka Akasaka wrote specifically for this song. Not to get into it too much, but basically has an ex-member of B-Komachi who finds an old interview of Ai that a fan re-uploaded online. It talks about how interviewers see her, the other idols that worked with her, and a few more perspectives [for those that know...] Anyway, this is definitely the show of the season by far, and couldn't resist giving it an attempt at it. Plus, you Moonies and peeps voted for it too lol Anyway, I know I'm not an idol [and thank god I'm not lol] but hope you enjoyed my interpretation of the song. I didn't want to talk too much at the End card cause honestly I could easily spoil it for you, so if you haven't yet, go check out the show! You won't regret it!

These lyrics are a perfect translation from the original! The idol talk show commentary/interview from the beginning, perfectly slipping in the child's names + Maria + Ai through "I've," and her final words closer to the impact from the show/manga!

This is the best cover I've seen so far.
One things that really sticks out to me in this cover is how well you landed the squeaking intonation (media, mysterious, etc.) like in the original. The background choir (?) at 0:21 was also a nice touch I don't usually hear clearly in other covers. Once again, quality work!

Been in love with this series for so long and so happy to see how the anime is being handled I honestly don't believe for a second it would have blown up the way it has if they took 3-4 episodes to cover what episode 1 did by making it basically an entire movie
This song felt both upbeat and dark. Interesting effect.
These lyrics are so absolutely amazing and you sang it so fluidly. The upward runs were breathtaking too genuinely you ate. The rap felt hella pro too ugh amazing job seriously!!!!

I knew the anime was coming if it didn't explode in popularity, I would be would've been shocked. I mean the series does take place in the love is war universe, and is done by the same author.
I found a playlist of all the different covers on spotify and I listened to them all and I like yours best and now I’m listening to it on repeat and it makes me wanna dance :D

This is so good! I have no idea how you manage to make all the different voices so distinct when its just you. Like, I can hear the difference between Publicity Ai, the reporter, Personal Ai, her bandmates, and the crazy fans.
so with the official version out i want to say i still prefer yours! i think the official is a bit too of a literal translation and i also love the extra sass you bring towards the end of the song, ive been keeping it on repeat in my car for the last few days, again wonderful job!
