      He isn't obligated to be humble but if he likes having people listen to whatever message he's trying to convey (which he clearly does) he would be better served coming across as a humble person. It helps open people's minds to new information if they don't get the impression the person speaking isn't a know it all. I do like his telling of this story.

    One of the most significant connection to nature was when I went hunting for magic mushrooms. I found them, dried them, ate them and had a very insightful time but the connection was the most memorable. I think every school should have a garden where children can cultivate and then be allowed to harvest and take home what they have grown. I can imagine hunting would be such a incredible experience. I eat red meat everyday if possible. I've tried vegetarianism for a year and developed a allergy to lentils because I ate so much dhal. Eating meat is a fact of life for so many people and I think hunting would actually breath a whole unexpected respect for animals that folk would be willing to pay a little more for meat bred responsibly but it is a significant luxury here in the UK.

    Got a love hate thing with Ted. Love many of his out looks and his dedication. Hate his Kanye West level ignorant ego. Love his respect for nature and his music. Hate that he vilifies millions of people without a second thought of empathy or understanding.

    I will be honest with you, i like ted, i like is music. but i'm against killing animals for sport. ted says hunting is a challenge and invigorating but in my view hunting it's not a challenge or invigorating because your the one with a weapon and the animals have no chances of fighting back so the hunters already have the advantage. that's why i love professional fighting and i did fight professionaly in mixed marcial arts for a few years in my country and that is what i call a challenge because it's fair and square, no bullshit. you know that when you're fighting your opponent is as good and as tough as you are and is going to fight back.that is a real challenge and when you win it's real invigorating because you fought fair and square with no bullshit. believe me if the animals had weapons and had the chance of fighting back hunters would think twice about hunting. thats what i would say to ted, i would tell him that if he wanted a real challenge get in a ring and fight like a man, fair and square no weapons one on one.

    What Ted is describing is being human. It was desperately important that most men felt this need for 99.99% of human existence. If you don't feel this need due to our current, blink of an eye, existence... that's fine. But don't denigrate what he finds so powerful and important. He's much more human and in much better contact with what a human being actually is, than you.

    • @thanksfernuthin
      @thanksfernuthin 6 лет назад +1

      Unlike you and others I have common sense and a sense of history. Are you going to make the point that hunting wasn't a critical activity that was vital to human survival for most of our existence? Please... make that point. Illustrate to me and others that your opinion is without any value and we can ignore you... which I'm guessing is a common circumstance for you.

    • @thanksfernuthin
      @thanksfernuthin 6 лет назад +2

      Thank you, Bill. You've identified my flaws expertly. If you'd be so kind, considering your gigantic intellect, point out something I've said that's incorrect. Or... if you'd like, continue to insult me. I understand that's a lot easier than debating a subject with facts.

    • @LoganB113
      @LoganB113 6 лет назад +1

      thanksfernuthin
      what subject were you debating? You're initial comment you typed, seemingly to trigger people, came off as condescending towards anyone who read it. (Pointing out the "than you" part.)

    • @thanksfernuthin
      @thanksfernuthin 6 лет назад

      I was responding to all the people I've seen who react to hunting with revulsion, Logan. Who treat it as some sort of perverse activity perpetrated by psychopaths. Usually... people who constantly proclaim their love of nature without any real understanding of how horrific nature actually is. If that's not you, and you're arguing tone- Well... I don't care if I "triggered" you.
